Finally cracked it after 10 years
Spent last 6 months with @aaronmartin.fit #dontbeadick 🙂 would defo recommend, I spotted him on tik tok and whilst I LOL’d at the videos he was keen on correct form which really appealed to me. Ensures you send him regular videos so he can monitor form, more importantly if you don’t he asks why you haven’t, his check ins are personable and he is realistic and honest.
Went from assisted chin ups with 40kg assist to now 10 body weight chin ups. Squatting heavier and benching heavier 🙂 this has helped me get up the pole lol (took up pole fitness)
When he told me he didn’t write meal plans, I panicked as I always thought I needed someone else to tell me what to eat, but he made the point of, I’ll tell ya the macros but your more likely to eat it and stick to it if it’s food you choose. For 10 years I’ve depended on someone else to tell me what to eat!
It is the longest I’ve stuck to meal prepping and I am enjoying what I eat now rather than dreading it!!
And albeit there isn’t a dramatic difference between my before and afters, this is an ongoing journey from a 20kg weight loss, i have gone back up a little bit, but losing it again!
I’m a bit bigger on the shoulders, chest and legs which is what I wanted. The arms are bigger in cm lol but I’m so pale my arms blend into the rest of my body 😂😂
One thing he has been is honest and it’s what I needed, if my weight wasn’t where I wanted it and he could see an area for improvement he told me, I appreciate more now that this whole process is not linear. My big issue is steps lol I can have days where I do 15000 steps but post nights I’d drop on the sofa and not move, still have things to work on.
I’m still 15kg down from when i began, I did hit 20kg but have put 5kg back on that’s my mission to shift 🙂.
Gonna go it alone for a couple months see if I can keep myself on track.

Lucky to have had such a great coach
Aaron coached me for a year and I highly recommend him to anyone who is considering a new approach to their fitness goals. He has totally changed my approach to nutritrion and strength training and I am hugely gratfeul.
He’s incredibly professional and takes your personal goals and progress seriously. He was consistently easy to reach and always enthusiastic in finding ways to make my programme fit with what I wanted. I enjoyed it from start to finish. Strength training and smart nutrition are now part of my daily life and I owe that to Aaron’s guidance.
He kept nutrition simple and easy to understand, something that I previously struggled with due to all the conflicting information online. I now approach food differently and still enjoy it just as much.
My exercise form has improved hugely with Aaron’s advice and I continue to see the results of these improvements with each week that goes by.
One thing that I was immensely grateful for was Aaron’s ability to make my programme fit around my schedule. I move around a lot for work and my shift times are constantly changing, something which never ended up getting in the way of the programme due to Aaron’s flexibility. Aaron was always understanding and proactive in helping me find ways to get my workouts done and hit nutrition goals. He also personalised my workout plan to fit around an old injury and slowly build up strength without aggravating it too much.
The aspect I appreciate most of all is that he hasn’t just coached me, he has taught me how to now do it myself and he’s made me confident in my ability to keep up with my progress going forward.
On top of that, it helps that he’s a genuinely nice guy too. He’s always encouraging and he wants the best results for you. You can tell that he loves his job and it shows through his dedication. Aaron has been absolutely amazing throughout my fitness journey. From the initial zoom call and then throughout the process he has listened to my goals and consistently reviewed them making sure we're always happy and on track. Aaron's communication and advice whether it's on nutrition or form ect has been excellent. I am a regular gym goer and have been for many years but had lost my love for it, after being on a 3 day full body workout plan I have gained so much confidence achieving PB's I never thought i'd achieve and have gained a healthy relationship with the gym and nutrition. Aaron is a sensational coach to partner…
Aaron is a sensational coach to partner with. He’s been supported me for 8 months and I have not only achieved lifetime PB’s but also completely recalibrated the way I train and approach nutrition. I’ve been weight training for around 17 years and used a variety of sources, after sending Aaron initial form reviews there were a number of ways I could improve my technique (in almost every exercise) to improve my form and ultimately strength levels. The whole program was based around a very busy family orientated lifestyle which made the sessions intense but also sustainable. I really enjoyed the program and there was tonnes of variety, movements I used to hate with a passion (such as Bulgarian split squats) are now a staple part of my training as with Aaron’s help I now do them correctly and have seen solid progress. At the start of the process Aaron made sure to understand my goals, these were to be in the best possible shape for my wedding and to learn how to be a ‘PT for me’ fair to say I have definitely achieved these with his help! We also had some milestone goals along the way in terms of 5 rep max lifts. To give some context I finished the 8 months with a 5 rep max across bench press, squat and deadlift on weights that I would have failed to do 1 rep with proper form at the start of the program - genuinely tremendous results following Aaron’s guidance. Thank you again for your help Aaron and no doubt I’ll be back for some tune up sessions in the future to check my lifting technique is still on point.

He advised me this 3 day workout plan which allows me to do everything I need in just 3 days a week with very detailed insight on everything to do with the most common lifts. Realistic Approach
Aaron really helped me reshape by relationship with working out and and eating right. Aaron is a grear coach, straight to the point with great and constant feedback. My progress has been amazing and i could mot be happier. The workouts are tough but awesome and he looks out for the nutrition in a pace that is easy to follow and adjust. If possible i'd give him 6 stars!

I was a 5 year competitive powerlifter…
I was a 5 year competitive powerlifter who recently fell in love with golf and let my fitness fall behind for about 2 years before I started working with Aaron. We both knew I had the knowledge and form on training, technique, and whatnot but I needed accountability to be consistent again and I got that and more from Aaron. As a powerlifter training anyway that's different is certainly a transition but I was coached through that transition. Even if you know you have the knowledge and technique, having somebody to keep you accountable is invaluable to be consistent and make progress. If you're considering investing in yourself Aaron is a great choice and I couldn't recommend him enough.

I tried this program because I wanted to do something else. Before this program I did a kind of a PPL split, but if you miss one day, you miss a complete musclegroup in a week. With this program you dont have that problem, because you train every muscle multiple times a week, so that is great.

Highly recommend
Aaron is a great coach! When I started online training I was looking to put on muscle and weight. I started around 72kg and gained all the way to 83kg, without putting on massive amounts of fat. Increased my weight in lifts such as bench press, squat and deadlifts and learned a variety of new exercises. Aaron helped build my confidence in and out of the gym and helped me get to new PRs. He really helped with my dieting, listing out the macros I needed to aim for each week. Aaron does form reviews which are really helpful at getting to know what needs improving (which is especially improving for someone like me who cares a lot about how I perform and look doing exercises). Aaron also does weekly check ins talking about my progress which is great at helping me to remain accountable and achieve the goals we set out at the beginning. Aaron is very motivated, easy to work with, wise and really knows his stuff when it comes to exercise movements and dieting. Highly recommend to anyone; beginner, intermediate or experience!
