Libre Sensors
From a personal standpoint, I would not endorse these sensors. Over an extended period, I experienced many issues, which ultimately drove a me to transition away. Despite adhering to best practices around hygiene and prep, sensor adhesion was a recurring failure point.
Additionally, I routinely conducted manual verification to validate accuracy, and there were multiple instances where the variance in readings exceeded an acceptable tolerance.
Support usually would replace, in some cases. But not always?
Two years later, still aweful website
Two years later, they still haven't fixed the login process and account making process. Site is just aweful. Can you please use a free LLM to correct the errors, please? Two years ago I had rendering problems and couldn't click the login button on firefox and windows... Now, password recovery didn't work, making a new account with e-mail address was not possible because it considered my e-mail address wrong. Tried another e-mail address, I can login on web, but the phone app says my account is locked because of failed attempts. What a mess. Like seriously, even my 14yr old makes better BPM and UI design than you guys. HAHAHA password character minimum is 8 characters on web and 12 on app, go figure.... ridiculous
Horrible customer support is absolutely…
Their customer support is absolutely horrible. I was on the phone on hold for 36+ minutes (twice) went to chat. Went from number 29 in the que down to 3 in the cue. Then the system dropped me off, and asked if I want to start a new chat? Another 30min waist of my time. Need a replacement for a defective freestyle libre 2 plus. Junk.
Another failed Libre2 Plus sensor
Another failed Libre2 Plus sensor after 10 days. I don't think any of the new 15 day sensors made it 15 days. Abbott has some serious product problems that are affecting us Diabetics who rely on these products. I have rapidly diminishing confidence in Abbott and would advise potential customers and insurance companies deeply investigate what is going on at Abbott.
Abbott corporate should give bonuses to your customer support folks who continue to bail your poor products out with a free replacement that likely also will not last 15 days.
The Abbott Libre3 Plus sensor is highly…
The Abbott Libre3 Plus sensor is highly unreliable; it falls off or stops working on the arm more than 50% of the time. At least every other month I have to spend an hour or more holding on the phone to speak to customer service. Then I'm told to drive my faulty sensor to a FedEx office for return. The low glucose alarm wakes me continuously only for finger sticks to show blood sugar is in a normal range. Abbott's products are horrible. The Libre2 was also terrible. I just told the rep they have 86% 1-star reviews and his reply was "No product is 100% perfect."
Abbott Laboratories Librelink egregious lack of communication about Android 16 incompatibility
I am being a big fan of Libra link and Libra sensors for about 5 years, after 55 years of type 1 diabetes. It is a fabulous technology that is life-changing for people struggling to manage their t1v. I could not be more disappointed in Avid Labs failure to widely communicate to its face of patience/customers that there was a significant problem using Weber length on smartphones that had deployed Android 16 (or One UI 8.0 as it is called). I spent almost 10 days very frustrated with why my reliable Samsung s24fe smartphone was no longer being able to receive info from the sensor or record my results. I went to the expense of switching out sensors a couple of times, as well as uninstalling and reinstalling the labor link. Finally after calling the customer care center, I learned that this was a known bug, and Abbott Labs recommended that customers "not allow auto update on their phones." That would only be a sensible statement if in fact Abbott loves had let their entire customer base know that Android 16 was incompatible!
On top of all that, Abbott Labs has still not given an ETA for an upgrade to labor link allowing use by smartphones on Android 16. They don't seem to be aware that all new phones are actually shipping with Android 16!
So when are your software developers going to get this fixed? Yes, I received your free reader, but the caliber of data collection is nowhere near as robust as LibreView.
Everybody so I have resurrected an older phone, and undergoing the CR S indignities of a scratched screen and a failing battery.
Be better, Abbott labs.
The Abbott Libre 2 Plus sensor is buggy…
The Abbott Libre 2 Plus sensor is buggy and has constant connection problems with the Omnipod 5. Furthermore, the Libre 2 Plus is incompatible with many android cell phones meaning I have to carry both my cell phone AND a Omnipod controller (2 devices). Furthermore, Abbott does not answer the phone or take sensor replacement requests when their buggy device experiences one of their many failures
Utterly useless.
These sensors a wildly inaccurate. They give false alarms for both low and high glucose, and the readings bear no relation to a figure-prick result. Don’t waste your money if you have to pay for them.

I have had about 50 percent of my lebre 14 day seniors are bad. Customer support is is bad as the sensors. Don't answer the phone just Put u on hold. Forever. I would not recommend this product to anyone. Easier to prick my finger

Extremely Disappointed With Libre 3 Support
I’ve used the Libre 3 sensor and expected a reliable product from Abbott, but this experience was incredibly frustrating. My sensor failed, and after spending over an hour and forty minutes on the phone with customer support, I was told they would not replace it—even though the issue was clearly a device malfunction.
I followed every troubleshooting step they asked for, stayed patient, and provided all the information they requested. At the end of the call, they simply refused to stand behind their own product.
A medical device that people rely on for their health should be dependable, and when it fails, the company should take responsibility. Unfortunately, that did not happen here.
I’m posting this so others know what to expect. The technology is good when it works, but if you have a problem, be prepared for long calls, no accountability, and zero resolution
Abbott is a joke
Abbott is a joke, after 9 years of really out of wack readings, now Abbott, very near to an action class lawsuit says "oopsie our sensors are garbage" .. dont waste time and money on this POS, get qa dexcom instead, it works. Libre is trash and does not work, main reason is they cannot violate Dexcom patents, so they have to come up with another solution. Guess what, their solution doesnt work!
Freestyle user for about 2 years.
I have been a user of the freestyle product for a couple of years without any major issues. Recently, the freestyle 2 plus has been a problem. Not really close to accurate. Currently running at about 30 percent off in accuracy on a couple of sensors. Sent back one today. They were suppose to call me back in 20 minutes, now 1-1/2 hours. They say the libre 3 plus is inaccurate, the 2plus is an issue. The libre 2 was fine. Now I can't get hold of anyone. I have tried for a couple of times. Please at least have someone to talk to.
Libre 3 reader and sensors defunct
The Libre 3 reader does not work and Abbott labs will not help you; they hang up on you. I had to purchase the reader on my own last year because they would not replace the non working reader. Insurance will not pay for a new reader. The sensor do not work either always failing. it will work for 5 days and then it shows as no censer; apply new sensor is the reading I receive. This systems is complete TRASH.
Horrible workers, half ass job
While I have no problems with using the libre device, the people that work here are horrible. I have had a sensor fall off twice this year. Now they ask you to put in your address when you are trying to get a new one sent. Instead of using the address I put in when I requested the replacement, they continued to use an old address. I absolutely did not need my old address to have access to my new one & if this was compromised by them, then they should definitely pay for any damages that may happen. This also caused me to go even more days without a sensor. And the manager that I spoke with definitely does not have a very caring concern. Maybe this place should be run & worked by people who are diabetic & actually understand what it feels like to not be able to have anything missing with thier treatment.
Company offers a $15 promotion but did not honour it.
Company offers a $15 promotion which both my wife and I tried to take up. However upon my purchase it defaulted to full price as (apparently) I put the same address as my wife and they thought I was trying to take up the offer twice. Upon my query they suddenly required a letter from my doctor. As I am not a diagnosed diabetic but concerned about my glucose levels - diabetes is on a spectrum of glucose related ill health - they would not honour the promotion. Although I indicated that nothing on their website manadated that I be a diabetic they would not budge. Deal with this company at your peril as they make up their own rules.
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS ABBOTT Spain
Has a type 1 diabetic needing to use a C.G.M. such as this Abbott laboratories make & sell. If I could give the libre link sensor a NEGATIVE score I would!
As for the customer support here in SPAIN, also a negative. I ordered 1x sensor from Abbott Spain on 8/10/2025 NO email after ordering to clarify order had been sent, as was the usual protocol. Until TODAYS DATE 22/10/2025, no delivery of sensor whatsoever!
2nd sensor ORDERED on 14/10/2025 AGAIN NO email confirmation of order dispatched and no delivery of ordered sensor!!!
Usually such orders take a maximum of 5-7 days to be delivered.
Abbott “customer service” (what a joke) can never reply to emails to advise me where my missing ordered sensors are and when they will be delivered!
The app for a UAE Libre Link 2 monitor…
The app for a UAE Libre Link 2 monitor will not download from the Apple Store because of regional restrictions. So by default I cannot travel internationally and replace the Liber Link 2 and have it work with the app. I have to create a new Apple ID which is very complicated. So I bought the new monitor which works directly with the arm sensor. Totally poor product. Lacks functionality like A1C estimates. No way to back up information to my computer. Battery runs down quickly. It is only good for getting a point in time measurement and the most recent days. Waste of money. I need to search for an alternative monitoring system. Very disappointing.
The Libre 3 is for my dog
The Libre 3 is for my dog. It works just fine. However, a few attempts to share info with my vet, failed. I got an email from Libre, confirming that my info was being shared with my vet. NOT. Libre customer service is HORRIBLE. The 2 people I spoke with were completely and totally CLUELESS. The last one couldn't understand my problem, and she just hung up. H O R R I B L E !!!!
Abbott freestyle libra 2 is a dud
I bought an Abbott freestyle libra 2 plus today. It doesn’t work. I spent 3 hours at the pharmacy trying to get the app to work. It kept on bringing up a message saying the sensor is incompatible with the app. I couldn’t get it to work. The pharmacist couldn’t get it to work. We checked all the apps. The product is a dud. Nothing should be this hard. I did my dough. About 5,500 rupees. India has no product regulation and Abbott offers no product guarantees. Buyer beware.
Mediocre CGM, 1st class customer service
The libre2+ cgm can have issues and doesn’t work perfectly 100% of the time, but the customer service from Abbott is great. They will replace sensors quickly without quibble. Online customer service as well as telephone. Difficult to knock the company when they try so hard.
