LOVE LOVE LOVE the idea of this business. With life getting so busy I don’t always have time to go to the bookshop and find new interesting reads so It’s a great way for book lovers like me to discover new authors and also a wonderful way to reduce waste. So sad that these books would have otherwise been thrown away. I received my first order today and decided to go for “4 surprise books” because I love variety. And Variety is exactly what they gave! Delivery was very quick, the books are in 10/10 condition and the packaging is great. So excited to get reading and for my next order in 2 months. They’ve definitely got a customer for life out of me.

I received my first box of stories and wow I was not disappointed. I had a good variety of books in excellent condition. I am looking forward to receiving my next book.
The one thing I love is that you can tailor the subscriptions to your own personal choice. For example you could get a box every month or every 4 month. Have fiction, non fiction or a mixed box which you can change in the subscription.

What a brilliant idea to save books and help the Planet! This subscription is very flexible as you can always update the type of box you'd like and frequency of receiving the box, I chose every 3 months cause that gives me perfect amount of time to read received books! All that for under £15
Its so satisfying to know that I could save those books from destroying before being read and after I read them myself I could donate them to charity so another person could enjoy them too.

A box of stories are a great company to deal with for a number of reasons, great selection of books (I've had some crackers), link to goodreads account to avoid duplicating books already on tbr file, easy website which allows you to pause/change subscription, minimal recyclable packaging, great loyalty scheme & great customer service if this wasn't enough they are also saving 1000's of books from ending up in landfill. Pleasure to deal with. Thank You!

I received my first box yesterday and I am so impressed! I linked up to my goodreads account and I don’t know if it’s just a coincidence but they are all books that are right up my street but ones I’ve never heard of before. Great for someone who struggles with the amount of choice there is in a bookshop. I would like to maybe be able to remove 1 or 2 more genres than the 2 you can already remove but understand that could make the whole process a bit trickier. I also have student discount so got 4 books for £12 which would be amazing even if I didn’t like some of the books, they can always be given away to people who would enjoy them :)

A great way to find new books you wouldn’t have necessarily picked up at a bookstore. You can choose genres so you’re more likely to enjoy what you read. The new sci-fi/fantasy box is really good.

I have had nothing but good experiences i teracting with the team regarding any queries or help needed. I have received 2 boxes so far and both have contained books I am looking forward to reading - I receive the Surprise Fiction Box and both times they have contained a good mix of genres. I have read 2 books and both have been fab. Looking forward to reading more and will definjtely continie using this service as long as it is available!

I love it when my new box of surprise books arrives! I just got my third order which meant I got a 5th book in my box!! I'm particularly a fan of the sci-fi and fantasy box at the moment but have had the fiction box too! Definitely recommend if you love books and want to try something new!

A lovely book box from a lovely team! Each box I have received has been full of 4 wonderful books in pristine condition. They’re super affordable and I have come to recommend them to all my friends, who in turn have discovered new favourite books and authors!!

I was gifted a box by ABOS and loved it so much I signed for a subscription. I've had four boxes so far and loved every single one of them. I love how easy it is to switch between the types of box and change how often I receive them. Book mail is always a joyful thing, but knowing that each box saves 4 books from being pulped makes be extra happy and the books they have sent have always been spot on.

A box of stories suprise boxes are sooo good. I love them so much I've subscribed to three different genre book boxes! And will be buying the three other genre boxes too. It so exciting to receive my suprise books boxes and finding amazing books I would never choose.

Love it, love it, love it! I am after my 3rd box and received amazing books so far, getting a box every 3 months is like having a Christmas every 3 months.
Books are in perfect condition, having great reviews and I would possibly never had a chance to read it if it wasn't for ABoS.
Definiately would reccomend to anyone that is looking for some less known but very telented writers and a good read.
Price is amazing, always delivered on time and when I had to change my delivery address got support right away from a Customer Service team.

Wonderful book subscription! When I discovered ABoS, I simply fell in love with it. As a book lover, to be able to save books from being misused/dumped and get the chance to read wonderful stories that I would probably never get the chance to access it’s fantastic! A great book subscription service with the option to buy one-offs. Highly rated books at a good price and the option to change the genre of books you would like. They even link with your Goodreads account to prevent duplicates and match you to your books. I could not ask for more, just perfect for me.
