I attended ACAS training on managing Redundancy

I attended ACAS training on managing Redundancy. I run a small charity and we don't have an in-house HR person, so it is really important for us to get clear, reliable training and advice. The ACAS training was absolutely excellent. The presenter was very knowledgeable, competent and clear. It was a small group of trainees, so we had a good amount of time for questions and group work to develop understanding and learn in different ways. I came away with much greater understanding and confidence in the subject, and (importantly) knowing how to ask better questions to navigate more complex situations. In the week since the training I have introduced new tools and guidance, which I feel sure will help us manage redundancy much more professionally in the future.

Topic interesting and useful

Topic interesting and useful. Liked how speakers alternated + there was an interactive element. Also liked that there was no pressure to participate in break out rooms. I did find the subtitles a little distracting at times.

Engaging Webinars

I recently attended the "Support Neurodiversity in the Workplace" webinar and found it to be very informative and engaging. The hosts conducting the webinar provided clear and concise information along with interactive polls and case studies without being too overwhelming.

It would have been better to see the presenters for some of it i think. More engaging maybe?
Otherwise excellent coverage of an important topic. Concise and clear.

Broken website and impossible to notify for Early Conciliation

Absolutely frustrated with the Acas website. I am trying to submit a notification for Early Conciliation before a strict legal deadline (statutory limit), but the site is a complete shambles. Every time I try to access the application form, it loops back to the homepage or 'Contact Us' page.

For an organisation that is supposed to help resolve disputes, having a broken system that prevents workers from hitting their 3-month deadline is unacceptable. You are literally making people lose their right to a Tribunal because of poor IT. Fix your link and your servers.
