Accredo and Express Scripts are complete failuress
I wish these reviews allowed to give 0 stars or even negative because that is what Accredo and Express Scripts deserve. Trust the reviews. They are all negative for a reason. It is a disgrace that my company is still doing business with this failure of an organization. I spent almost a month on over a dozen calls, talking to over 30-40 people. They never return calls when they say, and my doctor had to call about 6 times. Each time you call it is the first time. I will avoid using both companies ever again. I will spend much more just to avoid these awful companies and you should too. I finally called and canceled my prescription. I'm done.

This is absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with any pharmacy. I made a payment for an injection that I get every 6 months in mid-July. I still do not have the medication. They are now calling me every day to re-verifiy and listen to the script they have read to me 5 times already. My doctor's office has tried too and they are equally as disgusted. I am going to change insurance companies so I never have to use them again.

Like everyone else said, 1 star is not low enough. If my insurance would let me go ANYWHERE else I would in a heart beat. Incredibly incompetent company from every direction, zero organization or responsibility, makes specialty medication late every month, loses faxes of its required unnecessary paperwork repeatedly, all in all, nightmare. Can't even ship supplies with medication!
Should be illegal
I had to go off my Crohn's meds COLD TURKEY because of the total incompetence of these people. Took 2-3 months to sort out what should have been a SIMPLE issue to fix (a dosage change ordered by the doctor...). Every time I called their call center reps I got a different answer, felt like I was losing my mind. They are risking people's lives and it's sickening! Complete disgrace.

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Avoid them at all costs, but if you are forced to use them like me I feel bad for you. I constantly have problems filling any prescription I have gotten, or tried to get from them. They come up with any and every excuse to not send out your prescription. You would think they would want to get it sent out so they can get paid the outrageous costs of the medicine. However, Accredo is a wholly owned subsidiary of Express Scripts so their business model might be to deter as many people as possible from getting their medicine.
Accredo is not accredited by the Better Business Bureau, and has received class action lawsuits over Accredo's poor patient ethics and failure to provide basic services. A 2019 investigation by Olga Khazan in The Atlantic documented how Accredo and other specialty pharmacies harm patients in their efforts to cut costs as they delay sending medications for weeks and, at times, months.

It’s taking weeks to get my prescription
I’ve had my doctor send this Rx 4 separate times with preauthorization and they still haven’t got it.
I originally tried to get this speciality drug filled at CVS Speciality and Cigna denied it saying I had to go through Accredo, their speciality pharmacy.
Overall, horrible experience. The delay in getting this filled has been very painful as I need this drug for my auto-immune.

If there was a way to give them zero stars I would. I am on a medication that needs to be taken on specific days in between each dose. Since being forced to use this company by Blue Cross Blue Shield I have had nothing but problems. The medication is never delivered on time. I have to make countless calls to be told it is being expedited and marked as urgent but urgent is 48 hours or longer. I am told there are pharmacists to talk to but then they magically cannot be reached or they do not call back. Each person I talk to is pleasant and nice. Not their fault. Their pharmacy department drops the ball every time and refuses to pick it up.

When I first spoke to customer service I asked 3 times what the out of pocket cost was going to be for me, 3 times the representative stated to me “zero it’s covered. I received a bill for almost $1,500. For almost a year I’ve been on the phone with them trying to get them to bill my secondary insurance to no avail. Each month it’s a different excuse as to why it hasn’t been done. I even disputed the bill and asked for them to open an investigation by pulling the original call, the y pulled on part of the call where I stated ok to the rep to an unrelated question. Still not here, got a message it was delayed, now to receive 2 days later. After checking website today, now scheduled in 4 days from now. I would give them zero stars if I could!

Accredo pharmacy is horrific
The absolute worst experience I have had in 54 years. I’ve been trying to get a prescription from them since July 15. The customer service is horrendous. Ask for management and it’s a bigger joke. I was told I would get a call back today……still waiting. How are they in business? I’m. Contacting the joint review, BBB, my state representative, and our local news!

every month its the same thing: I order my refill, I get the refill, I am left with a $1900 to $4000 balance. I then have to call the insurance and Flex Access to get the balance reduced to my copay that's under $25. Insurance says it's not their fault - call Accredo. Accredo says it's not their fault, call Flex Access. Flex Access says it's Accredo's fault. Rediculous. Why send the medication if there is some issue? This is the worst pharmacy experiece ever. Walgreens and CVS never have such issues. I just wish I could get the prescription thru Walgreens but the doc says Accredo has to be the one. No wonder US Healthcare is so abysmal compared to the EU and Canada.

Do not do business with this pharmacy! By far the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with in my entire lifetime. The incompetence just blows me away. The left hand and right hand have no clue what they are doing or talking about. After 45 minutes typical hold times or transfer times or conversation times, you are still walking away very confused and lacking any results. They try to fool you thinking they will resolve your situation and tell you what you need to do, but then they hang up with you with lots of broken promises. You will keep getting the run around to try to make you feel better about yourself but how they are still in business is way beyond me. Tell your PCP to use a different pharmacy to avoid any unnecessary suffering. They don't listen to you or follow their own simple instructions. Do yourself a favor, put yourself on their "do not" call list asap!!! You are not even allowed to fill out their survey they state upfront on how your experience went. So stupid!!!
Utterly Stupid
They refuse to do their job and train staff on insurance policies. The will not bill secondary champva because the billing is incompetent and stupid telling us something every single month that is different. They don’t care about patients and are obviously the bottom of the barrel DEI hires. As quick as possible use someone else. CVS Caremark perhaps.
Horrible Patient Care
For the second time this company has improperly filled my daughter's prescription, failed to resupply our medication with urgency, and failed to expedite. The medication she requires does not allow for missed doses. I have been left on hold for over and hour, been hung up on, and lied to about receiving her medication. Horrible pharmacy to deal with!

They give you the run around. Robotic scripted answers. Will NOT give you a straight answer. They just don't care. I wish there was an alternative. Terrible company, dishonest.

People can literally die waiting for their medication to arrive. Unbelievably negative experience. The Federal government needs to take a look at this organization.
Zero Stars
If I could give zero stars I would. This pharmacy is awful. When you call they say they need 3 days to work out a problem and no one ever follows up. When I call back 4 days later the issues isn’t fixed and they say they need 3 more days. Been in this cycle for a month and I’m out of medicine.

If I could put zero stars, I would. I unfortunately have been with accredo for 6 years for my daughter’s medication and it has never been on time. It’s always weeks late and I spend 10-12 hours on the phone attempting to have the medication sent. It’s completely unethical the medical neglect this companies gives.
