Closed my account for unstated reason

Accredo closed my account without reason or explanation. I have been calling them once per week for three weeks. Each time they put in a new escalation to reopen it. Today, the rep said she sees the previous two escalations with no action. I have no open balance, and insurance issued a new approval. I have copay assistance for $0 cost. Now, after three weeks of calling, my dose will be late. Whether I will ever get it is unclear. I would love to be in a class action.

Worst pharmacy experience

Worst pharmacy experience and I work in a Dr office. Forced to use these terrible people who gatekeep medication from patients. I've had to call 14 times over the past 4 weeks and I still have yet to receive my medication after already missing a dose due to their incompetent customer service. Should be custom hindrance more like it. They never return calls when they say they will. Absolute disgrace. I would cancel my insurance if I could just so I didn't have to use the miscreants again.

Communication is awful

Communication is awful. I believe they are using an AI bot which is terrible. They do not communicate with providers but choose to annoy patients with issues they have no control over.

How is it possible that it takes 5-8…

How is it possible that it takes 5-8 business days to even SET UP an account on their “back end” with no actual transparency in what that even means. I have been waiting for over a week for my daughter’s medication but they can’t even set up an account in the system for her. This is a pharmacy not the Pony Express there is no reason ANYTHING should take this long to “set up”. What a joke.

The lack of communication and…

The lack of communication and transparency is simply "horrid". The copay assist system is flawed. After mix ups I missed some a couple of doses of meds and went into a full flare up. The hold time is awful and no one wants to take responsibility in providing a resolution. You may be transferred to someone that is unable to assist, then you have to call them back.

I have had an awful experience with…

Absolutely terrible. This pharmacy has brought nothing but stress and anguish to my family. Their staff is incompetent, slow-moving, and unprofessional in every way. If your company tries to switch over to them to cut costs, it is in your best interest to push back.

This company is a waste of time

This company is a waste of time. Express Scripts should consider getting a new specialty pharmacy. The company is full of small departments that really dont know what they are doing. They kept switching from department to department until some stupid person hangs up on you. Supervisors promise and promise and they don't deliver on their promises. This company sucks!!!!

This is the worst company I have ever…

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. The right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing. I have been trying for well over a week to get them to ship out my medication. They had a wrong BIN number and I corrected it and after a week they still haven’t shipped my meds. My insurance has already approved it. I’ve called 5 times and spent at least 2 hours on hold. They keep “ escalating “ it and thanking me for my patience. I’m usually a very calm person but I am ready to scream. They say they will call me back but never do.

Long time prescription refill wait.

They take an unreasonable long time to fill prescriptions. It's been 13 days since they've received my prescription renewal from my doctor. It has also been approved by my insurance company. They keep telling me that "their pharmacists are reviewing it".

Horrible company

Horrible company. Spent hours every day on the phone. Always a problem. No communication within the company. They tell you it's all set to ship and then nothing happens. Missed my medication. Use another company. Express Scripts needs to use another specialty pharmacy.

Don't deal with this specialty…

Don't deal with this specialty pharmacy. Their phone calls are rerouted overseas and nothing gets done. They will havve you going around circles. Have your doctor send you to another speciality pharmacy but never THIS one.

Worst experience

Worst experience. They delay my prescriptions, they filed fraudulent insurance claims. Posted my actual deductable payment as less so they could bill copay assist and get paid extra. Have not been able to get my rx on time in months. Notify me of delay in shipping on the day I am suppose to receive it when they could have let me know on the shipping date if there was a problem so I could fix it. Claimed the insurance denied my vacation refill request when they never did. I could go on and on. I hope others who have bad experiences will reach out to their insurance companies and lets put Accredo out of business.

Frustrating!!

Frustrating!!! First our insurance company makes us use this pharmacy. Their "App" they use to ask if you want a refill does not work for all medicines, first set back. Then instead of them calling you have to call, they tell you it is not available to be released till a date after when you are suppose to get it. Then another person calls to verify address. Then another person might or might not call to verify it is suppose to be overnighted. Then gets maybe released the next day which about another 4 days after when you originally needed. The system is broken. All reps apologize but dont know or try to fix. They read from scripts. You ask to file a complaint or speak with someone of authority and same conversation applies. No empathy, no help, no one cares. These are specialty meds. No one gives a damn any more. Insurance companies make you jump thru hoops to get the med approved (over a week or two) just for the same medicine you have taken for a year for a disease you will have for a lifetime. Shameful. The system needs to be reviewed in detail.

Can’t deliver on time impacting my health

I had a new prescription sent to them. Weeks before the delivery everything was approved by my insurance and copay assistance program. Three times they missed the delivery date. It took size phones calls with every person assuring me I would get my medication before it finally arrived acter the fourth attempt. For the second delivery, they again missed two deliveries and again it took multiple calls to them to get my medication before Twice now they have caused me to miss doses and it’s affecting my health. The worst possible service ever. If you aren’t forced to use Accredo like I am, find any other service for your medications.

I cannot believe the level of constant…

I cannot believe the level of constant HARASSMENT by this company. I have said no to them time and time and time again and they still call and send me letters! I have blocked them on my phone and now I am getting letters saying "we have been unable to contact you by phone so please call us" How do you make it stop!!!!!!!!!!

I'm Being Forced To Use Accredo By My Insurance

Could it get any worse than having your insurance co changed in the middle of the year after met all of your deductibles…. YEP, being forced by your new insurance CIGNA to use their specialty pharmacy ACCREDO for your chemo.
As of July 1st, I've had no choice but to use Accredo for my chemo. My next round was scheduled for July 5th. I'll spare the repeated details that no one who is sick or is caring for someone who is sick should have to deal with. It was finally shipped to Southern Mississippi in 95 weather temp, I received it via FedEx in a normal unprotected FedEx envelope, no ice packaging, nothing. The medication was HOT. It clearly states that the medication is to be stored at room temperature. My other pharmacy which was only one hour away would have it delivered in special packaging that keep it temperature control, much less than it being shipped FedEx overnight which took nearly 18 hours in transit in extreme temperatures. The pharmacist with Accredo said it was ok to take the medication because it was not sticking together…. I'm waiting to hear back from my oncologist before I take it. There is a reason why they tell you how to store the medication. To top it off the pharmacist told me that I should have REQUESTED it be shipped with ice packages….are you kidding me! Do you want me to come make sure that you are filling the correct prescription drugs too!
Why am I being forced by my insurance company to use only one specialty pharmacy with no other choice? Does CIGNA own Accredo?

I hate having to call Accredo

I hate having to call Accredo with the fire of 1000 suns. Every single time I need a prescription filled what I can count on is spending COUNTLESS minutes on the phone and having to make multiple phone calls, and I am certain that if I had any disabilities and/or was elderly and I would die before receiving my specialty medication. And my insurance Christian Brother Express Scripts requires me to use Accredo (of course they are doing this while being “Christian”) and so I am trapped, rolling the dice on speciality medications which the adjective of special would indicate a great need making it a repeated monthly exercise in irony. Avoid at all costs if you can.
