The items I ordered took 6 weeks to arrive. The company ignored the buy 2 get one free offer, so despite paying for three and expecting 4, I only got 3. Have since contacted Mary Ackerman several times, but to no avail. I wouldn't use them again.

Wish I could give them a lower rating. Ordered 2 herb strippers thinking I was buying from Mary Ackerman hand made site. Ordered in Nov 24. As of Dec. 13, haven’t received them. I have emailed twice with no reply. The shipping site is abysmal. Do not buy from this site!!!

Terrible vendor. I purchased numerous items from them, and nearly four weeks later, I have not received anything. I have made numerous inquiries, and the company has not responded. AVOID

Ordered something on Nov. 13, 2025. It is now December 11th and the item has still not been received.

Only complaint was site said seven day delivery so didn't know they were coming from China, ordered Nov. 20 and received Dec. 9.
Ordered three herb strippers that came in separate boxes with styrofoam inserts so they were in there snug and all in one piece. Also, the holes were different sizes as they should be. After reading all the bad reviews for Ackerman, thought for sure I had wasted my money and was ready to give up receiving.

I ordered from them no email no proof never received it says on the page the bird nest ,theyre 10$ so i ordered 4 and they charge me 170$ and i wrote to them no email back no phone number do not get caught DONT BUY NOTHING FROM THEM

I ordered two herb strippers from Mary Ackerman and I couldn’t believe what I received. The package was smashed and broken pottery pieces were spilling out of the bottom of the box. One arrived intact, but with a large chip on the bottom. Also, the holes were drilled in later. Horrible. Threw it all in the garbage and now I’m waiting for a response from this wonderful company.

Ordered the pottery stripper which is advertised as handmade and glazed with a whole page of pictures and info about how Mary Ackerman wanted to get back to making with her very own hands. What arrived was cheap nasty mass produced rubbish that looks nothing like the advertised product on the website. AVOID! Total rip off merchants. No response to emails requesting a refund.

Scammers! Don't spend a cent on this website. I purchased (or I thought I did) a product that I saw on social media and they never shipped the items nor are responding to emails I sent. Typical social media scam.

Payment deducted from my account. No confirming email of product purchase & no product received or able to be tracked as my account/email doesn't exist when I go to the website!!
No phone number for contact and can't log on to website, it forces you to click "subscribe" & enter email, gets you nowhere!! You have to input your order #, which I never received via email as stated online!!
I looked at my saved pages in Facebook to find that now there is no image for these fraudulent scums, just the name. Further, the email they have in the "contact us" is in no way affiliated with the business name which SCREAMS fraud!!!
Looked further at my credit card statement and see it's from Hong Kong. Nothing on the web order page told me it was coming from Hong Kong or I never would have ordered!! Looks like I lost shy of $50.00. Scammers......don't order from them.

Zero customer service. I ordered four items and received one. The customer service email that is provided does not respond. Terrible terrible terrible. So disappointed!!!!!

I ordered the pottery herb stripper. The product is completely cheap and cheesy, and it was grossly misrepresented by the ad. Do not give this company your money. What a joke!

I never received the product and the links from their "confirmation" email didn't work. I'm pretty sure the entire site is a scam.

I ordered the Pottery Herb Stripper based on the photo and description of how this bowl would strip herbs off their stems. The holes in the bowl were shown to be graduated in size. The site also made the claim that the artist was closing down her studio and wouldn't be making any more of these bowls. I ordered 6 to give as gifts. When the bowls arrived I tried one, and the holes were too large to strip the leaves off of the stem and they weren't graduated sizes as touted. I contacted the company and they were slow to reply. They told me for a full refund I would have to ship the product back to Hong Kong otherwise they would refund 50% of the cost. The product was shipped from California. I am disappointed by the misrepresentation of this product and just want my money back. I won't be giving these bowls for gifts.

Total scam of a company. The product is not handmade and quality is terrible.
I am fighting to get a total refund.
I paid via PayPal so If I don't get what I want from this shocking company, I'll dispute through them

Firstly I'm not sure how you get a 2.9 average when both reviewers scored 1 star.
Secondly, I thought I had researched this adequately before placing an order and was wrong. This is a scam site.
My item also arrived and looked nothing like the photos ( stolen from a reputable potter and her site! ) and the item was totally useless. Three of the four holes are the same size.
At least I was able to recoup 50% of what I paid, however I didn't the other 50% for nothing. I could have sent back to China for a full refund ..... right.
DO NOT buy from this site!!!
