Waiting a month for a tool is a little ridiculous

I placed an order based on the deal. I have waited 11 days to receive only partial order. Called and found out will be a month. But that's just a guess. I ordered from home Depot and Lowe's just this week and have received all orders. The only tool I need most is the one I'm waiting on from ACME tools. I called customer service to find out my only option is waiting or taking more time out of my day to package the partial order and send back for a refund. I wonder how long that will take. I would imagine no matter what deal is presented again I will not buy from here. Is it really a deal if you have to wait over a month to receive your tool? 0

i read to remember the road runner cartons, well i do remember those and my experiece with ACME TOOLS is the exact same, the tool showed up when they said it would, as it always did for Wylie Coyote. Unlike WC the tool provided exactly what i was after. As i remeber WC didn't know how to use the tool. The tool was always there

Package not delivered

We ordered a Kawasaki engine on Sept 9th with the expected delivery date of Sept 12th-Sept 14th. The Engine was delayed at a local Fed Ex Facility for 15 days. Multiple calls were made and a investigation was done with the end result of the package being lost. A Replacement engine was sent out Sept 30th with a delivery date of October 4th. The Engine once again is lost at the same Fed Ex Facility. We called Acme on October 9th, after being placed on hold for a bit Acme states they have issued a refund since the issue has happened twice at that Fed Ex Facility. While I understand Fed ex's ineptitude is not Acmes fault, a better resolution should have been provided. Such as using a different shipping company for this order if Fed Ex is unable to keep track of packages. Basically we spent 32 days waiting on a badly needed engine only to be forcefully refunded. The Customer Support team are respectful and I appreciate their attempted help but this has been truely the worst customer experience I have had in 15 years of owning a business.

Honda Mowers Forever

I never purchased a Lawn mower on line before but I could not find a Honda (HRN216VYAA) with blade-stop locally. Acme Tools in North Dakota had one on line. Called to check on availability and shipping cost. Mower was available and shipping was $28 for a heavy load. Ordered on Sept. 26 at 2 pm and received the mower in South Carolina on Monday Sept. 30 at 1pm. Added oil and gas after checking out the mower and was cutting the lawn at 2 pm. Great job by Acme Tools on the delivery of the best residential lawn mower on the market. I can't understand why Honda would stop making gas lawn mowers. This is my 4th Honda over the last 40 years and and have never had a major problem. I just did the routine maintenance and they lasted for 10-15 years each.

Don’t Opt in for text to receive discount!!

Opt in for text to receive discount codes.
Shopped a few days.
Codes didn’t work at check out.
Sent a text saying they would not work it sent me a long message on the stipulations for codes.. apparently I wasn’t standing on one leg jumping up&down when I placed my order.
Not to waste the time shopping I placed order now after reading other reviews apparently no customer service is in place to help with this anyway. 🤦🏻‍♂️

I order a tool from Acme Tool

I order a tool from Acme Tool. The tool never showed up. i have tried multiple times to call Customer Service No one answers. you are put on hold for hours. I spent $1,400.00 on my purchase. Looks like i’m out the money. Do not use Acme Tools.

Acme Tools is going downhill fast

Acme Tools is going downhill fast! It used to be such a great company with incredible customer service. For a while now they send promo codes that don’t work, recently they had a VIP 15% off sale that was bogus, clearly a sad attempt to draw customers to their site. When I tried to use it, on the website under each tool it said 15%, when you add an item to your cart the discount became 12% and at checkout 9%. This has happened before and was the case with 4 friends. Like always when their fake promos don’t work I try to call but nobody answers in customer service. These are hour plus calls. I even tried sales and no luck. I emailed and didn’t get a response till the next week when the sale was over. I explained my situation with screen shot proof but the person said “It’s a moot point, the sale is over” and closed the case. Home Depot has the same prices which means you save on shipping. Clearly Acme has lost tons of customers and has to employ bogus sales events to attract people… if this stuff continues I’m gone.

My saw arrived several days late and…

My saw arrived several days late and the box was crushed all over. I refused the Federal Express delivery.
I had already cancelled it several times the previous week due to it being so late, I had spoken with customer service numerous times by phone, email and texts to cancel but they still insisted I pay return shipping, It was my first time and last time using Acme Tools. Terrible customer service!!! Do not use this fly by night company!

I never used Acme Tools website before. I was really impressed. Easy to make an account, easy to check on the process of the order. Easy to check on tracking information, and I got my ordered item in good quick time. I'll be using them again.

Steer clear

Steer clear, I ordered a tool a month ago. They happily took my money and allowed mt to wait a month before advising that the item wasn’t Available and would be available for another month. Poor business practice selling tools that aren’t available immediately… if an item isn’t available, don’t take Someone’s money! Amazon has the ability to sell you an item on the books, but don’t charge. Custom until the item ships….so much for a family owned business…. I won’t buy anything from them ever again…

This Company is trash

This Company is trash. You can never get a hold of them. I have tried to cancel my 100.00 order. I try to log in to
My acct. every single time I have to change my password, shows I gave a placed order. But yet no customer number no shipping no tracking. They do not answer e mails. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! I have reached out to an attorney , this company will be giving me a full refund !

I tried to buy a $3,600 lathe but the…

I tried to buy a $3,600 lathe but the order was canceled because they claimed they couldn't verify me however they suggested that I use PayPal. This sets off all sorts of alarms!!
I suggest you read some of the other experiences and learn from them.
I will be taking my business elsewhere. Do not waste your time!!

I should have read the poor reviews and stayed away. I tried ordering 4 times the same item and got denied 4 times. I sent them an email and a bot just replied with the same message I got when sale was denied. Just bought somewhere else. STAY AWAY......POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR A LOCALLY OWNED FAMILY BUSINESS!! I would be embarassed if it was my family.....losing business.

I should have paid attention to…poor quality communication and service from the very beginning

I should have paid attention to trustpikot before I ordered from this company. Long story short: we ordered an expensive mower on day 1, but 3 days later my Visa card bounced it, saying fraud. It wasn’t fraud, but in the ensuing four days, I was unable to get the sales team there to place my order. Tried 3 more times without success, mostly due to their inability to invoice my visa account, which had PRE- approved the purchase. I see now that customer service is very poor here. Glad I cancelled everything with them.

Fraudulent company

Never recieved shipping info and never recieved items. When I called company to inquire about the item they said it had been delivered but could not provide proof of delivery. Then when I asked what they could do to help they said I had waited longer than 7 days to inquire so ther was nothing they could do. Said I should call paypal and try to get my money back. That is real customer service.
