Acorn is trustworthy. I've been with them for about 8 months and my account has been growing. I can see where my money is going and that gives me the excitement to save more. I have not withdrawn anything since I opened the account but to my understanding, Acorn doesn't charge for withdrawals but you may have to pay taxes.
It’s taking too long for the money to be available to my daughter.
My son had a go Henry card that had about $45 on it and somehow is not associated with the account anymore. That's my only criticism.
Easy to use for both parents and kids.
I recommend to my friends with kids. Makes allowance and chore money so much easier.
The app is great for my young grandchildren to learn about money. It is very easy to keep up with their spending.
I love using the Acorns app to pay my children their allowance. It makes things much easier and teaches them how to use a debit card which is a necessity in today's society! I think it's important that children know these things from a young age so they are prepared for the world and it doesn't overwhelm them when they graduate from high school.
It's a nice Educating experience to help my child handle his money correctly.

Takes forever for money to clear. Considering going back to Greenlight card because they had instant transfer from bank to parent wallet.
