The basic Windows Defender is better
The basic Windows Defender was able to detect malware that Adaware was not, so, it's basically useless.

The software was easy to upgrade to the latest version but one drawback I have come across is to register I have an account but when I go to forgot password the screen comes up and says forgot password and that is it so I can’t register the product will have to do some investigating

Have used it with previous Windows…
Have used it with previous Windows versions without a glitch, but after I upgraded a computer from Windows 8 to 10 and Adaware asked me to update it ended up with a fatal system crash which required having to reinstall everything from scratch.

Adaware has always been fair with me…
Adaware has always been fair with me but I feel that Adaware, and it's competition, should be supported through subscriptions and ads rather than the general public, it's customers. With all the other sites out there, presumably capable of protecting your computer, it's hard for the consumer to determine what's right for them and who will do the best job.
