Noticed charges on my credit card.... I never authorized them.

Recently I noticed three charges on my credit card. There was a $229 charge in each of February, March, and April. The company that charged me was adcreative.ai. I sent them an email saying that I never ordered anything from them and that they have charged me in error on 4/13/2026 From that first email, I had correspondence with them every couple of days. Each email sounded very scripted, like maybe from a chatbot that was asking me for more information. The emails just kept saying they wanted more information.
I gave them the credit card numbers, the amount, and the dates of the charges. I was unable to give them the expiration date of the first two transactions because that card was cancelled and a new one (the charge that happened in march) was on a different card. (I was surprised to learn that because they entered this as a recurring charge that they could continue to charge the new card in march).
Then, in an email on 4/22/2026, they informed me that they were only going to credit me for one of the three charges. They said that this is because a different name (other than mine) was associated with the charge and that I could not give them the expiration date of the cancelled charge card they would not refund the other two.
I replied saying that the odds are astronomical for me to know the two credit card numbers, the amounts of the charge, and the dates of the charge of transactions with their company without me being the actual person charged. I said that if there was some other name associated with the card, how could they have charged to it? Maybe a mistake in their own software?
They continue to refuse to refund those other two charges.
The fact that it is clear to them that they charged me but would not refund me seems unethical to me.

Easy and Intuitive to use!

App is easy to navigate, intuitive user experience. The brand set up was completely automated and pulled in relevant data. No major changes or additions needed from me.
Created good content for my business which has been a struggle with other AI apps.
Pricing seems fair at first glance and offers many options, but I am a new customer so will have to see once I use it more.
No feedback on customer service at this time since that has not been needed.

Misleading information and very poor customer service

My experience with AdCreative.ai has been very disappointing. At no point during the sign-up process was I clearly informed about the actual conditions of the service, specifically regarding API access. The only thing I was told was to book a call with their team, without any upfront transparency about the fact that API access required a separate quote and additional payment.
I consider this to be misleading information, since key details about the cost and limitations of the product were not proactively or clearly communicated before purchase. When I raised the issue with the team, I did not receive an adequate solution or a reasonable refund proposal.
I have formally requested the cancellation of my account and the corresponding refund. I would advise anyone considering this service to ask, in writing and in detail, for all conditions, additional costs, and limitations before paying anything.
I would not subscribe again and I do not recommend it.

The worst scam I have ever seen on the…

The worst scam I have ever seen on the Internet. I signed up for a 7 day trial. All their email sends went to the spam folder, and after the trial period they charged €399 on my card even though their starter plans only cost 39 a month.

After a huge back and forth with their support team they offered a 50% refund to be payed within 14 days. I have now waited 27 days and they have not yet paid back.

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS CRAP SOFTWARE - it does not bring you any solutions, they are only in the game of tricking people in, sending bad emails to have an explanation for their lack of info and then they charge you for their most expensive "plan".

Shit product, shit ethics and shit service.

SCAM!

I had a very disappointing experience with AdCreative.ai.

I signed up for a free trial in good faith, but was later charged $406.80 without it being clearly communicated that such a large amount would be billed.

This feels like a classic “trial → automatic expensive subscription” setup, where the actual cost is not made sufficiently clear to the user. After looking into it, I can see that many others report the same experience.

When I contacted support, they refused to take responsibility and only offered a small partial refund, which I find completely unreasonable given the situation.

To me, this comes across as a business model designed more to trap users into subscriptions than to provide real value.

I cannot recommend this service and would strongly advise others to be extremely cautious before entering their payment details.

Great for small creators and iterative ads

The app is great for making small creatives, perfect for e-commerce and drop shipping. You can create static images and videos, even small animations or b-rolls for your content.

It's really easy to use with just a few simple steps. I did run into some issues with certain features, but the help desk was very helpful and explained everything clearly. They resolved the problem quickly. I've been using this app for several years now and I'm very happy with it.

Their billing and pricing are misleading at best. At worst they are running a straight up scam. Not to mention egregiously overpriced.

They "approve" refunds but don't deliver, they keep lying and buying time hoping you will forget and give up.

Your only hope for a refund is to contact your bank and do a chargeback. Which is what i have done.

Not a trustworthy company by any means.

I had an unexpected subscription charge and reached out to AdCreative.ai for support. At first, I was worried about the situation, but their team responded promptly and handled everything professionally.

Refund approved but never paid — and they hide customer complaints

Approved refund not received after 14 business days — their own stated deadline.
I cancelled my subscription and AdCreative.ai confirmed a full refund of €360.39 in writing on April 1, 2026. They gave April 24 as the final processing date. Today is April 24 and the money has still not arrived. Their response today was vague with no new commitment.
To make matters worse, they are hiding and limiting customer comments on their Instagram page, clearly to suppress negative feedback from other affected customers.

misunderstandings happen. Superfast solutions are more seldom in life, but this time it arrived after 5 minutes!

I tried it and found it's not for me right now. Amazing features though and very well in the future I will start using it. Due to me being away on work trips I must have missed the 'end of trial period' email and was automatically subscribed to the default program. It only took one email to correct that. And a very fast response confirmed that I cold still cancel en no charges would be made. No discussions and very friendly. I love that!

Wrongly charged

Already seen loots of negative reviews around charges. Well same happened here, was charged for a full years subscription in Jan, firstly, there was no reminder or email before the charge and when I reached out they only agreed to refund a certain %.
it’s now end of April and the only emails I get are apologies or mails to stall the refund process.
Be very careful of this company

The billing is horrible. Beware of surprises on you statement

I had to delete my previous review about the amazing service i received from Jacob and David, unfortunately. It's a great app for creatives, but the billing is a nightmare. Multiple charges, unexpected hits on my card even after paying a quarterly plan, they kept charging monthly. I even canceled the plan and charged back and they kept charging the new credit card. It got so bad my bank blocked them. If you’re careful with your finances, beware. The free trial is as well a mess. Believe all the reviews about their practices feeling shady and scammy.
