more sky blue than denim blue
The image shows a much darker colour. I would describe the denim blue colour as light denim blue. I’ve coated them in navy shoe polish to produce a real denim blue. The zips were difficult to use but after wearing the boots a couple of times, the zips were much easier to do up. Nevertheless, these ankle boots were in the sale and i’m delighted with them.

Colours are very tricky to judge from a screen unfortunately. We use colour corrected monitors to try our best to replicate the colours accurately but every screen will look very different depending on settings like brightness, contrast etc. and even the type of screen being used.
I'm also delighted to hear that you managed to achieve the colour you were looking for with navy polish though; very resourceful!

Very quick and efficient service as ever BUT
What I am most impressed with is the reasoning behind why the boots were so greatly reduced in price… to avoid potentially faulty items being sent to landfill, they may not be faulty at all!!

I have this style in a different colour way, extremely comfy and cozy, much admired.
I am between sizes so went up a size which is perfect with a slightly thicker winter sock

Too large for me!
Unfortunately, the boots were way too large for me. More like size 42 instead of 41. Also the insoles were smaller than 41 so didn’t fit the boots. I’ve therefore returned them and awaiting refund!

Thank you for taking the time to send us your feedback and I'm sorry that the boots you ordered didn't fit. I can assure you however that we do spend a lot of time on fit testing to try to ensure the best possible fit for everyone but as every foot is different combined with different sole units, upper patterns, toe box shapes/profiles etc., unfortunately this isn't always possible. That said, we do constantly strive to improve and we'll use your feedback to help continue and guide our hard work in this area.
The insole issue is very strange and something we'll look into asap but as these are a hand made product, unfortunately errors do occur from time to time and I suspect the wrong insole was inserted at the factory; it is certainly not the norm. We'll review the QC processes to better protect against this going forward if it proves to be the case.
Every brand will fit slightly differently and slightly differently across styles for the reasons mentioned above, so I hope this doesn't put you off Adesso and you'll give us another opportunity as a different size or style may just be the perfect fit. We also are available in many shops around the UK if you'd be more comfortable trying the shoes on before you buy.
