Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 417 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people reported significant issues with customer service, describing it as unhelpful, unresponsive, and even misleading. Customers frequently faced problems with their orders, including items not arriving, being delayed, or incorrect products being delivered. The refund process was a major source of frustration, with many struggling to receive their money back or encountering outright refusal. Additionally, some products arrived with quality issues, such as damaged logos, peeling soles, or being unwearable. However, some customers also noted that the products themselves were of good quality and fit well, despite issues with the purchasing process. A few other people also felt that their customer service experience was positive, with some refunds and deliveries being handled efficiently.

Adidas parcels getting lost/delayed with EVRI - Reading

Unable to get Adidas orders delivered to my address through EVRI. Delivery dates are not reliable, 1 order got lost with my racing shoes, placed another order and got delayed for more than 2 weeks (ended up ordering AF from Nike). Last order is a simple bottle of water and is also lost!!! I am living in Reading, should be very easy!!

Very bad service

Tried to buy the arsenal 3rd shirt which finally came back in stock, I had been looking everywhere for days and it finally came back. Ordered it, then said delayed shipping and absolutely no update for almost a week. Probably wasn't actually back in stock. Asked to cancel it myself (I knew they would probably cancel on me anyway) and they didn't even offer a gift card or any goodwill present for the inconvenience. But they were responsive on WhatsApp to be fair, so 2 stars rather than 1.

Failure to accept returns, without explanation

I placed an online order for two items, which I briefly tried on at home then returned. Adidas then sent the items back, saying the return did not meet their returns policy. I cannot see how - the items are in perfect condition, with tags attached, and were returned within the necessary timeframe. Despite repeated requests to adidas, no one has been able to tell me what is wrong with the items, other than to say they have been worn and damaged - but I’ve not worn them other than briefly trying them on for size and style and trying to decide between which of the items I keep (I had them on for a few minutes at most at home), and are in the condition I received them in. I’d understand the return not being accepted if the items genuinely were worn or damaged - but they are not, nor has adidas been able to point to any evidence to suggest they were.

Simply unacceptable - no refund for over a month.

Simply unacceptable. I returned my order in April, shortly after receiving it. This was because of a very peculiar shape and uncomfortable stiff fabric of the items, not suitable for a baby. I am still awaiting my refund. I got a few notifications with an apology, which now stopped on 2nd May 2026 (I am writing this on 30 May). Still not refund. I contacted the seller via their website chat and all I found out was that the refund is still in progress, which is just unbelievable. I don't think I will ever receive this refund. I will never purchase from Adidas again.

Extremely bad

Extremely rubbish, poor, service. I ordered an item which they said I would be able to pick up on the day 27th May. It is now the 29th. I need the shirt for this weekend. It has been 2 days and no confirmation email that I can pickup the item. They have said there is nothing they can do, even though I have been to the store and seen there is multiple of the item available in the store I ordered it to. Their system does not allow them to simply mark my order and allow me to collect one of the items in store. This may ruin my whole weekend now and it is extremely unacceptable how they have claimed I can pickup a shirt on one day, when it was a complete and total lie. On top of this, they have also said my order cannot be cancelled and I can not get a refund (so that I can use the money to buy the top elsewhere at a competent store that tells the truth and does not lie to customers), so they have literally left me with no option but for my weekend to be ruined. Absolutely VILE service. Do not recommend to anyone. Order item elsewhere if available. Adidas are unreliable. The next issue they have now offered is that when I’ve called them to ask for help and the number for my specific store, they have given me 5 different answers, the wrong number twice. It’s all over the place. If they weren’t the shirt maker for the team I support, I’d have nothing to do with this incompetent brand.

Dear Adidas Customer Relations,

Dear Adidas Customer Relations,
I am writing for the second time regarding my formal complaint on order AUK9BF80799, originally placed on 2 May 2026. My first complaint was sent on 23 May. I have received no response.
To summarise where this stands:
• Two items lost in transit (CROSS IT TEAM LIGHT 2026 Padel Racket and RETROCROSS GRIPMORE Golf Shoes) — partial refunds received but not confirmed in writing
• METALBONE CTRL 2026 Padel Racket (£350) — out of stock, I am being asked to reorder at full price, with my earned 15% loyalty discount refused
• HYPERBOOST EDGE Running Shoes (Blue) — cancelled by Adidas with no adequate resolution
• £17 compensation voucher offered — rejected as wholly inadequate for four weeks of disruption, multiple phone calls, and hours on WhatsApp
• No full refund. No written confirmation of amounts refunded. No meaningful compensation.
This is a clear breach of my statutory rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015. I am a long-standing customer who chose to buy directly from Adidas because of the loyalty scheme — only to be let down at every stage of fulfilment and aftercare.
I am now making this complaint public across social media and review platforms. I am also prepared to pursue a full chargeback via Revolut and escalate to the relevant consumer authority.
I am requesting a response within 48 hours from someone with the authority to resolve this in full.
Steve Lidder

Unfortunately I was very disappointed…

Unfortunately I was very disappointed with the customer service and return policy with Adidas. After ordering the Adizero Boston running trainers directly from their website, I found my usual size 5 was extremely small and caused pain in my toes during a short initial test run. After finding this, I was not permitted to return or exchange the trainers despite still having all the original packaging, and am now stuck with £140 out of pocket and trainers that cause me pain. Customer service was far from helpful and I will not be buying from adidas again.

Adidas are essentially thieves at this point

I am so beyond disappointed with the service I have recieved from Adidas. I placed my order and chose a shop delivery option as I have had issues with theft in my building. For one reason or another, the shop refused the delivery.

I contacted addidas and requested that the parcel be redelivered to my home address and I was advised that this was not an option and that my item would be refunded.

I reported this to Klarna and the payment was paused as the refund wouldnt be refunded until the product had reached the sender.

Time passed and Klarna chased so I chased Adidas again 3rd May to see why this was taking so long. Only to be advised that my item was being held at a depo and that I could have collected it should I have wished to? Which I was never advised previously. The depo isn't near where I live, I dont drive and I paid for delivery. So this wasnt an option.

Klarna have now contacted me again. Advising that they will be resuming payments for the trainers. I contacted Adidas again, only to now be advised that you have infact receieved my order and that you will not refund me as the item is personalised?! And that after alllll this time - the only option was to resend the trainers to my home address?!? The thing i was refused?!?

There has been 0 regard for customer care, 0 communication and quite frankly I am now in a foul mood that I have had to deal with this on my day off. I was advised yesterday that I would receive shipping confirmation- still didnt hear anything. So contacted again - only to be asked for a 4th time for my home address and to be advised that they would pass my details on to the "relevant teams".

For the amount of money this company is worth, you think they'd spend a little employing staff that are in the know and can actually assist their customers. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Very disappointed with Adidas UK…

Very disappointed with Adidas UK customer service.

I ordered cricket shoes directly from their official website, payment was taken, and the tracking page showed an expected delivery date 18May. After the delivery date passed, I was told the item was “out of stock” even though the tracking still showed “On its way”.

It is now 25 May and I still have not received the order or any proper resolution. Customer service was unhelpful and would not even log or escalate a complaint.

Really poor experience and communication from a major brand.

Thieves

I returned two items in February and still chasing return of the money (it’s now end of May). I have phoned and emailed several times and still not resolved.

I will be complaining further as effectively they have stolen from me and make no effort to return what is owed to me

Customer service is just auto pilot response and no actual meaningful action to resolve things

Adidas predator football boots

Adidas predator football boots, played in them 15 times and the sole came completely away from the shoe £250. They said there was no manufacturer fault and they were ‘ clearly worn and dirty’ obviously they were as I’ve used them. I’ve emailed back and forward and they just send generic AI emails back with sorry we can’t do anything here’s a link to buy the product again.

Poor delivery and customer service.

Adidas need to change their delivery provider. Have ordered 2 times the same product and 2 times got lost/ stolen. Have contacted the customer service and the agents did not even try to help , instead of replacing the item ,they were asking me if i want to cancel the order.
Adidas really poor from you . But if i was someone famous , for sure they would have acted.

Terrible customer service

Boots ordered online were returned as they had a ridge inside which damaged my daughters foot. Return refused by adidas. Boots not returned still waiting 3 weeks later. Money not refunded. So they have my money and the boots. Terrible customer service.

Absolute a holes!

Absolute a holes! I have spent THOUSANDS on their products in the last few years. And when they have a release that sells out immediately. I was only able to get 1 pair of size 9 trainers. As I am a size 9, that was a reasonable purchase. They came and they are too small. Now they are all sold out. Then they have a restock. So I managed to get my 9.5's. They came and they are clearly used and second hand goods. Under consumer Rights law 2015 , it is illegal to sell used goods as new. So I complained. And their many , many responses all say the same thing. I am to spend my time and my fuel returning their used goods to rectify their illegal act. Under the same uk laws, I refuse to assist criminals and I demanded a collection. But they refuse to abide by our laws. They claim their trillion pounds company cannot arrange a collection. So they are liars aswell as criminals. No shock there then. I am now forced to dispute their illegal act with Barclaycard as they refuse to do anything. I will not be alone in this. They have had the evidence. The links to THE LAW they broke. And they do NOTHING! They even admit they did this. And still they are "a holes" about it. I have been reasonable. I have lost out on my order. I have given them screenshots, photos, uk laws and even contacted adidas Germany. They breeched their own contract so their terms and conditions do not apply now. And they still do NOTHING! Maybe a ccj against them is how to move forward.

Terrible service, return policy and product.

Shoes I received via online do not fit, despite being supposedly the same size as the many previous Adidas trainers I’ve bought before. Tried to return them in Manchester High Street store, where I received very poor service and attitude. ‘Lady’ serving me threw the trainers on the counter then said they weren’t in good enough condition to return, despite being pristine. Product description for the shoes states you can’t wear them indoors and there is a 30 day guaranteed return policy.
Went to online return portal and told I can’t return them as they haven’t been delivered ! Despite they obviously have been delivered! Very bad all round and very unlike I will be buying any adidas products ever again.

Adidas running shoes clearly says on…

Adidas running shoes clearly says on there website under warranty if any defects I can return for a refund as I have tried returning it it’s saying it has nothing to do with them so just to say adidas is false advertising and cheap quality clothing and shoes I wouldn’t recommend anyone to buy from them I think Nike is better quality

They sent the wrong item

They sent the wrong item. I returned it promptly. They say you haven't returned correct item. I explain it was their mistake. They reply it has been worn and damaged. Absolutely rubbish. Will never use Adidas again.
