If I could give them a negitive 5 stars I would they are a rip off company do not buy anything from them they do not stand behind their products and they are all horrible products made of cheap stuff that breaks or does not last.

False Promises from Aduro

This is what Aduro claims in an email to me:
Everything going ok?
Just checking in to make sure you're still loving your Aduro products!
If you ever need anything you can simply reply to this email and we will take care of you right away.

I have emailed them 3 times in the past 30+ days and NEVER a response. Apparently they are happy to sell defective products, and promise to stand behind them, but when you need assistance, they ignore.

Battery Back up did not work at all

I purchased a battery backup through a promotion on the Today Show as. Christmas gift for my mother. I purchased the item towards the end of November. My mother was visiting fir the holidays and after she returned home she tried to use the battery backup and it did not work at all. When I contacted the company to see about a replacement they refused to honor it since 30 days had passed. I will never buy a product from them again and would not recommend them at all. There are many other companies to choose from.

Aduro dash cam DVRs

I purchased four Aduro dash cam DVRs at Christmas. The cams them-self work well but the mount that sticks to the window has fallen apart on two of them. The Summer heat seems to weaken the product.Its very frustrating that these cameras can no longer be used without the defective mount.I contacted customer service by email but they are completely ignoring me and my situation. I will never buy another Aduro product or refer anyone to them.

A sample of Aduro's Customer Service

This is a copy of what I just posted on Amazon:

I purchased an Aduro holster case from Entronik through Amazon on 2/13/2020. It worked well until 7/20/2020 when the belt clip separated from the case (no breakage). After unsuccessfully trying to pop it back together and after tracking down the receipt I sent an email to the manufacturer's customer service with a picture of the issue and a copy of the receipt. They then cc'd me on an email they sent to the company who sold the product . After 3 more business days of no response I sent another email to both parties requesting a response and again a week after that, I still have not received a response. Meanwhile I bought another identical case from a different manufacturer, retailer, and platform being careful not to let anyone from the prior sale make a penny on this one. I am sending a link to this review to both of these companies to give them another week to respond, my next steps will be to file a report with Amazon and the BBB. I presently have 1 star on this product solely due to the lack of customer service from both companies, If they respond and take care of it they will get a 2nd star. If I believe the are sincerely sorry for this they will get a 3rd, If I get no response or have to go through more effort to get this resolved it stays at 1.

I got a their solar power bank and the solar NEVER worked. I contacted company & got reply on how to file claim. Filed claim and never heard back. Also I wrote the review on my experience on their site. It was never posted. There are no bad reviews on their site. Makes you wonder. Will not buy from this company again.

Zero customer service despite following…

Zero customer service despite following their exact instructions for a product that claimed to have lifetime warranty within months of purchase. The product’s damages cost me more than three times in expenses to replace repeated blown fuses in my vehicle.

Yet, after filing a claim, the company had no issues with sending me marketing emails to try to solicit additional business while completely ignoring my warranty claim.

All you will get from Aduro is robo messages and products that will most likely fall far short of expectations while causing potentially very real safety issues.

I had a good customer service experience

I received a waterproof speaker as a Christmas gift. After I started using it, I really depended on it. When I went to charge it for the first time, I discovered a defect. To prepare for making a warranty claim, I did searches for Aduro Products reviews. (I believe this site is one of the ones I found). What I read made me think I was going to have to put on my most assertive consumer battledress. Turns out I did not have to.
I submitted my request, received an email back, followed their instructions, and got a replacement unit - no problems.
I do not know what made the difference in my experience - policy changes? following instructions? no idea. It was overall positive and what I would/should expect. Posting this here now for balance.

No customer service

No customer service. When one sends an email to customer service a robo- reply is received. If one sends comment back one gets another robo-reply.
I have been trying to get some help with one of their products for almost two months without success.
It would be wise to avoid this outfit and their products.
