A little over two years ago, we had ADF install two bay windows and a composite front door.

Shortly after installation, we noticed several issues. The lock barrel on the door was protruding from the door itself and was fitted in silver, despite all other fixtures and handles being brass. We also found that the rubber seals around the bay window glass had started bulging out around the sills.

ADF initially responded quickly and came out to attempt repairs. However, once they left, nothing had actually changed. I contacted them again, and they returned to replace the door barrel with a brass one and claimed they had replaced the rubber seals.

Unfortunately, only a few months later, the same issues reappeared. On top of this, damp started coming through the window. Once again, ADF agreed to come out and said they would replace the seals with something more suitable. Instead, they simply applied clear silicone between the glass and frame, along with poorly finished grey silicone around the external seals.

I immediately reported this, as the workmanship was unacceptable. Since then, they have returned and replaced two of the glass panels, but I am still waiting for the large panel, which I was told was damaged in transit. Despite being promised by ADF that all of the silicone would be removed and corrected properly, this has still not been done.

Throughout this process, there has been no sense of urgency to resolve the issues, nor any genuine apology for the inconvenience caused. I am now being told that although the new unit has arrived, I must wait another two weeks due to staff holidays.

Overall, I am extremely disappointed with both the quality of the installation and the aftercare service provided. Based on my experience, I would not recommend ADF to anyone.

Delighted with sash windows and replacement single door. Appreciated suggestion of sash windows and also not being hassled to make a decision once quote had been given. Fitter was efficient, clean and tidy and took a lot of care with installation. Communication with company very good throughout.

All staff were friendly and professional. Installed within a reasonable time frame for a very reasonable price. So pleased with the final product. We can already feel the difference in relation to sound and heat loss.
We had one issue where a pane had cracked on installation, albeit wasn’t to the fault of anyone. This was reordered and fitted within a week. Very happy with how it was handled. Would highly recommend.

Doors, windows and French doors fitted in October 2023. Issues raised in January 2024 have only just been resolved Friday 12 April 2024. The issues were with all windows.

This is the second house i have windows and doors fitted to and cannot recommend Sean and his team highly enough.
The whole process was easy and professional. Like everyone else i had three quotes, one from a national company, one from another local a large company and Advanced Exterior plastics.
I can only say that the other two companies left me feeling wary is the best description, they were both keen to explain what they could not do and yet managed to offer expensive alternatives.
The peace of mind Sean gave when he came round to quote was refreshing and everything was just so easy.
When it came to the installation the guys were onsite when promised and had everything done within the time frame agreed. The work was completed to a high standard and in a very friendly manner.
In summary i am totally delighted with the whole experience and can add great value for the cost especially as they use very high quality products in the installation process, nothing was too much trouble to Acoma date my requests.
