Myself and hubby just had a very exciting flight over London ( the 50 minute flight time one, 4th April 2026.) All staff were lovely from the lady who greeted us to the pilot. Although arranging this... See more

What an amazing experience this was! We did originally book for June, but it has to be postponed unfortunately. However, it was well worth the wait!! When we arrived, we spoke to Nicole who informed us where to go and what to expect from the day. We were given our flight number and waited for our flight to be called. The staff explained the safety procedures in great detail and explained to us how the trip was going to work. Very clear and easy to follow instructions soon followed. Then, it was time to get on board! It was such an amazing experience! Looking over the Shropshire countryside on a cold winter morning, was something to remember! When we landed, they escorted us back safely to the reception area where we received our complimentary champagne and we were given the opportunity to purchase a souvenir photograph infront of the helicopter as well! Every single person we spoke to and dealt with, were super friendly and professional. Especially Otis, the dog! Thank you all for a truly amazing experience!
The team were welcoming and knowledgeable, the venue had easy parking and a lovely café with views of the helicopter and surrounding landscape.
Our pilot gave us a fabulous trip over the reservoirs and pointed out landmarks around them.
A very well organised day, highly recommended !

This was bought for me for my 30th. We were bought the 15 minute flight with two glasses of bubbly.
The flight itself and pilot were fantastic. An amazing experience. However, this is completely miss sold as a ‘hospitable’ experience. Do not expect anything of the sort. To board and exit the helicopter, we were ushered through a side gate as opposed to walking through the lounge. When we looked to enjoy our ‘two glasses of bubbly’ we weren’t even allowed back into the entrance hall, let alone the lounge. Two mini bottles of bubbly were chucked in our direction in the car park and we were told to leave.
Please do not buy this package expecting to receive any sort hospitality. It is miss sold and is a shame as people are often bought this experience to celebrate a special occasion.
This was at Staverton (Gloucestershire Airport) - perhaps other venues are more hospitable and give you the time of day.

We have to admit this was an absolutely dreadful experience, and what could also be described as a money-making opportunity for World of Wings.
We were advised, in advance, that the experience would commence at 09.00 and we were to arrive at the Cafe on the premises at 08.45. We arrived as advised and were told that the event wouldn't commence for 45 minutes, and to take advantage of what was being offered at the cafe, clearly a ploy to get people to spend money in the cafe. We were also told that we would probably need to share a table at the cafe due to the numbers likely to be attending. In total 32 people were booked for this event. We were split into two groups of 16 and told that 3 birds would be available for the experience. The experience consisted of standing in a semi-circle whilst the handler spoke about each bird. Each person was able to hold a bird for approx 3-4 minutes whilst the handler continued to talk. This went on for approx 2hours. There was no flying of the birds or feeding or demonstration of the birds predatory nature. It was simply just standing there listening to the handler. It was clear that interest within the group was disappearing after about 1 hour with people talking amongst themselves and losing interest in what the handler had to say. We left early after seeing two of the three birds as we felt this was such a poor experience. What compounded this further was the weather, it rained constantly throughout the event, and it was clear people were getting cold and wet. This experience, for all it was, could have been completed under the cover of shelter in the event of inclement weather rather than everyone getting soaked.
If this was just an opportunity to hold a bird for a few minutes for a photographic opportunity, which is all it was, it should have been marketed as that, not a falconry experience, which it wasn't. It was a total waste of money and time leaving us both bitterly disappointed. Even the birds didn't appear to be enjoying the experience. If they hadn't been tethered, I'm sure they'd flown off somewhere for shelter.
I believe the above is an honest reflection of what was such a truly bad experience, never to be repeated at World of Wings.
A wonderful experience with Mo from Clifton aviation. Great experience
Great day from start to finish. On arrival it’s very clear where reception is. All the staff were friendly, helpful and professional. There is a lovely cafe in the departure area to wait before your safety briefing. Safety was simple to understand and clear and staff guided you to and from the aircraft. You can’t take selfies of yourself once you pass into the hot zone but they do sell photos of you with a proportion of the money going to the air ambulance. The airfield at Balado has an interesting history from World War Two where it used to train Polish pilots. The flight was amazing over Loch Leven, it was such a smooth flight and the pilot was great as our guide.
This was my first helicopter flight, the take off and landing were so smooth and the views were amazing. All of the staff were professional, safety aware and very friendly. I would recommend this fantastic experience.
Fantastic experience learning how to fly a plane. Will definitely be coming back!
Avoid avoid avoid! Once they have your money they're not very interested in making sure your experience actually happens.
I was gifted a voucher however struggled to book a space. I extended this for a year at my own cost.
This year I tried to book over a three month period however nothing was available. I'm now being told to extend again at my own expense as there were "ample dates available".
Every time you contact them you need to fill out a long form from scratch, which asks for a picture of your voucher. There's no way to have an ongoing conversation as everything comes from a no-reply email.
Absolutely terrible customer service.

We flew from Glastonbury. Great scenery all around. The pilot was knowledgeable of the area.
The ground crew were friendly and the whole experience was very enjoyable.
Birthday gift for my Son and my Mum went too! Voucher was easy to use and superb value for money. Fabulous helicopter flight from Barton Airport with Captain Jules! The staff were friendly, professional and would highly recommend this experience! Will definitely use Adventure 001 again!
I had a clay pidgeon shooting experience as a birthday present, it was a really great day made so by the venue and the instructor who was very patient and knowlegeable and by the end of the session i was regularly hitting the clays
All in all a great day
Wow, what an amazing experience for my husband.
His has a passion for aviation, so this was fab.
The crew were great and a huge thank you to Captain Stewart.
Just wished we'd book a longer flight, maybe next time ....
All well organised except that we originally expected the sandwich to be served on the train as it seemed to say in our little red leaflet. But we realised on seeing people that we had to collect it from the cafe and take it with us ! The sausage sandwich and my tuna were very good plus crisps and coffee! Well organised! Very helpful and happy staff Good to see younger ones! Train ride was smooth and pleasant countryside to see! We then went for a walk around the Kiln pools and had another ride ! Thanks for a great day out.Chinnor and Risborough steam train ride plus food via Red Letters

We had an amazing time. The ground crew were super friendly and professional. The actual flight over London was superb. The pilot kept us informed as to what he was doing and what we could see. We were blessed with great weather which helped to make the whole experience fantastic. I am still smiling!
As a retired driving insteuctor I know that "doing" is a great way of learning and that is what I was allowed to do. From taking off to near landing. Being given the opportunity to do things to see how the aircraft responded in flight was so beneficial and so much fun. Can’t praise our instructor, Tom White at the West London Aeroclub at White Waltham enough. A brilliant experience
Fantastic experience for my mums 70th . Cracking experience and very well looked after 😁👍
One of the best things I’ve ever done in London 🚁
Flying over London with @adventure_001_ was absolutely incredible — easily one of the most memorable experiences I’ve had in the city. From start to finish, everything was smooth, safe, and exciting.
Seeing London from above — the Thames, Tower Bridge, the London Eye, and all those tiny red buses below — was just breathtaking.
I couldn’t stop smiling the entire time. It’s the perfect mix of adrenaline and pure joy! If you’re looking for a unique way to see London, this is it. Totally worth it — I’d do it again in a heartbeat! ✈️💙
This was a horrible experience for me, booked the helicopter experience for my wife’s birthday but it was cancelled last minute due to the weather which is understandable but they make the process to rebook another slot or allow you to book another experience. They do not provide a refund either. I wouldn’t risk booking this experience as you’ll probably never get your moneys worth if something goes wrong.

A fantastic day, we were blessed with great weather and an amazingly friendly and helpful pilot. We got the opportunity to have a little fly ourselves too and I loved every minute. The only criticism I would make is that there needs to be better signage to know where to park and meet as the what 3 words wasn’t actually accurate, but that was easily resolved by ringing the mobile number and we were shortly up in the air! A brilliant experience with genuinely friendly people. Thank you.
