Paid for a repair, it wasn't cheap and when the engineer came they did nothing. Very poor communication by the AEG worker who obviously had no idea what he was doing. When I contacted them, put me on... See more

Delivery team wasted my day by no-showing. Impossible to contact delivery team.
Then decided to choose a new day and time without letting me know.
I cancelled order completely.
Impossible to speak to anyone directly.
Taken 6 weeks to get my money back!
Still waiting for delivery of 'out of…
Still waiting for delivery of 'out of stock' item. No communication from AEG.
Shockingly bad customer service.
After two attempts to order an induction hob the order has not gone through. Despite the money being taken from my accounts. (One on pay pal and one by credit card). I now find myself with over £1000 blocked. I have spent the whole morning on the phone. Mostly on hold. I still have not been able to purchase the hob.
Disgustingly poor service and a shocking customer experience. I will never use AEG again.
Great Appliance
Just a few months of use.....so far, looking great and doing a good job. Customer support is good.
Brilliant fridge freezer
Brilliant fridge freezer, delighted with product.
It's not the first AEG fridge freezer that we've had and their products last well and do their thing.
The installers went above and beyond in our difficult kitchen. Absolutely brilliant, would definitely recommend their installation service and buying through them directly.
Delivery not available, refund delayed for 2 months
I needed a new oven at the start of December, in time for the family coming for Christmas day. AEG were selling a model which they said could be delivered in 5-7 days. The delivery company used by AEG do not contact you straight away and when they do, have a very complicated questionnaire for fitting electric ovens. I had to research the answers (to do with power input, previous oven specifications... all sorts!). It took a couple of days before I had enough information to complete the questionnaire - and only then do they give delivery dates - and there were none before Christmas! So I called and cancelled my order, so that I could purchase it elsewhere. I was told the refund would take up to 14 working days due to a "late cancellation". It was only a couple of days after ordering and no delivery had been arranged. I would have gone ahead with the purchase if their delivery dates had been as initially specified.
It is 2 months later and I still have not received my refund. It is very difficult to get through to customer service. They are then very polite on the phone, but state that their managers give "late cancellation" as the reason for the delay - sounding like they COULD refund it, but management are telling them to withold it due to something akin to spite!
I got the same AEG model through Marks Electrical - delivered a few days later, no complicated questionnaires, friendly electrician, good customer service. I would recommend Marks Electrical in future. I will never use the AEG shop again, although the oven is a great product (from elsewhere).
Goods NOT received - WAITING for refund
One star is far too generous. I thought AEG were a good brand, oh how I wish I had read reviews before spending over £1,600 with this diabolical company. Ordered a fridge and a freezer but they never arrived. The sham of a delivery company keep asking me to book a date, only for them to then cancel and ask to rebook. Twice I did this. On the 2nd cancellation, and me rather frustrated at having to wait longer I called AEG who assured me the delivery was indeed arranged and perhaps the company were having issues with their messaging. On the day of delivery they again said it was being delivered. By the afternoon they said it wasn't and I needed to rebook. Obviously I am not going to go round these circles indefinitely so I requested a refund only to be told it takes 14 working days. WHAT?! They are unable to fulfil their order and it's I who has to wait for over £1,600 to be returned! The girl on the phone just spoke over me and then hung up when I thanked her for her sincerity. Obviously I was being sarcastic at her lack of customer service, I guess the truth hurt.
Very poor after sales service
Purchased a fridge/freezer for £800 in late 2023 for install into the new kitchen in 2024. Just out of the 2 year warranty based on the delivery date, it started making a loud humming noise and the compressor runs continually. Contacted AEG who wanted £174 to send out an engineer. I'll be putting that money towards a new appliance from a different manufacturer.
Faulty installation, poor aftercare, no resolution
I purchased an AEG washing machine directly from AEG and paid extra for professional delivery and installation.
Immediately after installation, there was a leak from the waste pipe under my sink that had not been present with my previous washing machines. This made the appliance unusable. I contacted AEG and was passed to their contractor, ArrowXL, who raised a claim. Despite repeated calls and emails, I was left waiting for weeks with no resolution, no repair, and no meaningful updates.
As a disabled customer, this was extremely stressful and disruptive. I was eventually forced to pay for the issue to be fixed myself because I could not continue waiting indefinitely.
I am now simply requesting a refund of the installation fee, as the service I paid for was not carried out correctly — yet I have still not had this acknowledged.
The washing machine itself may be good, but the installation service and aftercare have been very poor, and I would not recommend buying direct from AEG if you need installation support.

My freezer conked out and the charming young woman talked me through resetting it , brilliant and all during Xmas break as well
No after care - oven glass door exploded!!!
We are extremely frustrated and disappointed with our AEG double oven, which is only 3 years old! Without warning and while the oven was not in use and nobody was near it, the oven glass door suddenly exploded and smashed across our kitchen.
This was a terrifying experience. Our young daughter was in tears and our young son is now frightened of the kitchen. Thankfully no one was physically injured, but this could have ended much worse! An appliance like this should never fail in such a dangerous way, even more so after such a short time.
Both AEG and Marks Electrical have refused to accept responsibility, leaving us to pay £175 to replace something that should have lasted significantly longer and, frankly, should never have happened in the first place!!
We expected far better from brands of this reputation.
This incident has completely destroyed our trust. Neither AEG nor Marks Electrical will be receiving our custom again.
In summary, dangerous, poor after care - AVOID!
Dryer went faulty an month after…
The tumble dryer failed just one month after the warranty expired. The marketing is impressive, but the product lacks long-term durability. I would not recommend AEG — they are expensive and seem to last only about two years, making the purchase feel like wasted money.
Very good products
Very good products, I bought recently a washer-dryer and induction hob.
Do not buy these products
Do not buy these products. We got persuaded by the sales man. They had a cashback offer on. We have went through hoops to try and get this back its all a scam to purchase the crap.
Washing machine arrived with plastic missing off it. Works but still flimsy crap. The heat pump dryer takes nearly 4 hours to dry clothes and still they are damp. It was suggested to time dry. So what 5-6 hours to dry clothes?
The combi microwave oven has a rubber seal on it. After two months in it came off. Wouldn't go back in properly. Rang the shop the service man came over and said you need to wash it, I said I do! then went to put it back after washing is himself and it wouldn't go back in. He said if it keeps happening il order another one. What so it can keep doing the same?? Very very bad design. Im so annoyed at myself for getting conned into this crap. I hope this review will help someone buy a better brand that will last.
No serice
A two year old hob has failed under a 5 year warranty
And trying to. Get a service engineer to attend has been impossible, passed from aeg to their warranty company then passed to electrical logistics who have failed to come when ghey say they would. Neither do they answer the phone, so back to retrocare to reprat the process. Last time we use aeg
AEG BIG DISAPPOINTMENT
Just had a chat with the customer service provided by AEG.
I left disappointed.
I bought an oven from AEG with a specific function for baking bread( over £700). This is to add steam during cooking adding water straight to the bottom of the oven.
Now, as it sounds so cool the company did not provide a product which will keep humidity at bay and now I am left with a rusty oven, with screws that don't hold the back panel anymore and the blades of the fan that are completely eroded. I have been left with" if you would like to book a visit from our -out of warranty- engineer to assess the problem, we are here to help".
Personally I was very exited about this oven 5 years ago. Super cool with specifics about bakery and I invested a few extra pounds for that. Also, it has a self cleaning function, which means the oven will reach max temperature for a certain extended time to remove grease etc.. Today, after using the brand with an Oven, a induction hob, and a kitchen hood I can say..Meh!! i think the cost does not reflect the quality on the material they use and for this I don't feel I can recommend this brand and instead suggest to check for the same cost, a different ones, maybe less sophisticated function but might as well last longer
Ordered fridge freezer on 19th November…
Ordered fridge freezer on 19th November 2025. Was meant to be delivered on 3 occasions. Each occasion an issue was reported. Last attempt it was damaged at warehouse on the day of delivery. Then informed me it’s out of stock! Asked for refund on 5th January 2026 and I’m still waiting for refund. Called customer arrive to find out status of refund and was told it hadn’t been processed. Absolutely shocking customer service! Will never use this company again!
TIMER-DELAY DOESN'T WORK
The product instruction manual for my oven an AEG DUB331110M gives details of how to set the Timer-Delay i.e. a duration and end time. However, having bought the model and argued with AEG as to whether the Timer-Delay existed or not with some in AEG saying it did and some saying it didn't. Eventually having sent an engineer out to repair the Timer-Delay function, they eventually admitted it didn't exist but it took four weeks from the engineers visit. They started it was a printing error on the Instruction Manual but this printing error was still there two months after I ordered the oven and 5 weeks after I reported the problem.
Paid for a Product, Got Nothing
I bought the product in early December, but as of the end of January, it still has not been delivered.
The delivery company, ArrowXL, keeps failing to deliver for ridiculous reasons. I complained to them multiple times, but they only say that AEG is responsible for the delivery and nothing gets resolved.
When I contact AEG, they simply repeat what the delivery company says, which is extremely frustrating. Paying for a product and not receiving it is basically no different from a scam.
I strongly recommend that you never use this manufacturer or this delivery company.
