Matt from Aerial Ashes was totally amazing. He organised everything beforehand and explained clearly what was going to happen on the day. The weather was challenging but despite this Matt managed to make the moment really special and we were able to scatter my husband’s ashes in one of his favourite places.

Matt took the time to talk to us all about my husband’s life and we really felt that his care and understanding made it a very beautiful experience.

Our father passed away recently
He wanted to have his ashes scattered in St Andrews where we used to live and had our best family memories.
It was a challenge as we all needed to be there between a certain time frame from all over the UK and Europe aswell as have the weather align with the location and Aerial Ashes.
Matt was available and responsive including coordinating conversations over the weekends and Bank Holidays to meet safety and flying regulations and the unpredictability of the weather to make this happen.
The location and weather at sunrise was perfect, Chris our drone pilot was so professional and kind. We could release the ashes into the sea with the sun rising and clouds glowing.
It was a wonderful way to say good bye to our father and remember him.
Thank you for enabling this beautiful farewell at a difficult and emotional time. Just as my father would have wanted.

Wow, it's hard to put into words what a wonderful experience we had with Aerial Ashes. Right from the first contact enquiring about scattering my Dad's ashes at sea off Aldeburgh Beach through to and including the actual scattering, we couldn't have asked for better. Christopher was friendly, efficient, accommodating and extremely professional throughout. As a result we had complete faith in him, no stress at all, which enabled us to concentrate on farewelling Dad in the way he wished. On the morning itself Christopher was joined by his colleague Matt who was equally lovely. They handled Dad's ashes very respectfully and liaised well with our priest who gave the committal service during which the drone carrying Dad's ashes was launched. The flight itself was beautiful, no rush, the drone flew around for a while while we watched, it was all so peaceful. When the ashes were finally released it almost felt spiritual, so gentle and peaceful...we watched as they floated and then gently disappeared. What a wonderful experience, it has really helped my family in our grief.

The whole event was conducted sensitively and professionally by Christopher and Matt who made it all feel very personal, at no time did I feel that this was 'just a job' to them. Although they didn't know Dad, I felt as if they did and that we were a team on the day.

We had the flight filmed by Matt via a second drone. The resulting video was sent to us within 3 days of the event and is very high quality - high and low resolution versions with some stills also. My family and I will cherish these forever.

Christopher was helpful at every stage of the process and was respectful and compassionate. On the actual day of the scattering we were advised of the process and gave us all the time we needed. He was also interested in the background and choice of location which we felt made it a more personal experience. Chris was so attentive to our needs and extremely sensitive and supportive throughout. His kind words were very welcome and he put us both at ease during a very difficult and sad time. From our first point of contact through to the aerial scattering of the ashes Christoper handled our request with both efficiency and respect. Aerial Ashes were the only company we could find to help us fulfil our relative's wish to be cast into the sky from a height and thank goodness we did find them. We recently had the pleasure of meeting the team from Aerial Ashes when we decided to release our Dad's ashes by drone over one of his favourite places.
The lads where Amazing such kind and caring people who took the time to speak to everyone and explain anything that was asked. It's a different and unique way of releasing ashes by air and it bridged the generation gap and made everyone in attendance feel included very different than the usual way of scattering ashes. What started as a sad day for final farewells ended with sharing memories of happier times and gave us memories that will last forever.

This company is very professional. We were so pleased with the experience they gave us in scattering my late husband's ashes, which they carried out with sensitivity, empathy and expertise. I can totally recommend them for creating a very memorable occasion, as well as the follow-up video photography which we were able to share with those not able to be present.

Aerial Ashes scatter the ashes of loved ones by drone. They take care of everything. The only thing we had to do as a family was to turn up on the day with my brother-in-laws ashes. There was one quoted fee with no hidden extras. They were understanding and respectful at all times and their communication was prompt and clear. This method of scattering provided us with a closure that we didn’t know we needed. Aerial Ashes have been outstanding, they are highly recommended.

We wanted a special send off for my mum and dad's ashes and right from the first point of contact, Chris was very helpful in taking us through what was involved.

Our first choice of location was unfortunately denied by the Local Authority however the second one, on the seafront, was in hindsight more spectacular.

The launch itself was very professionally handled and Chris offered options on the flight path and height so we could all get the best view. I was also able to push the button to release the ashes - all in all a very memorable and fitting send off for mum and dad and witnessed by the family.

My Dad passed away in December and we asked Aerial Ashes to help scatter his ashes at a local beauty spot called Cruden Bay on his birthday in February. The North Sea, the scottish skyline and the bay provided a magnificent backdrop to mark the moment. Aerial Ashes were professional, attentive, patient and compassionate and have provided a very special and unforgetable experience with which to add to our memories of a special man. My Mum, who could not attend through ill-health, thought the images of the drone scattering ashes were beautiful and has asked for the same when the time comes. There were no wings on the drone, but it was the work of the angels nonetheless.

An exceptional company that delivered exactly what they said they would, seemlessly, from collecting my late parents ashes to their scattering, as my father had desired, of both over the North Sea.

They communicated with us, told us what would happen and did exactly that with very prompt delivery of a still shot and video footage of the scattering event.

It was all we wished for.
