A sincere thank you to Matt, Richard, and the team at Aerial Ashes who enabled us to fulfil my Dad's final wish of having his ashes scattered over beautiful Lyme Regis bay. Their clear, attentive, and sensitive communication with my Dad before he died, and myself and my family after, made this difficult time a lot easier. They were polite, reassuring, happy to answer my many questions, and extremely organised both before and on the day itself, where they treated my Dad's ashes with complete respect. We are extremely grateful.

From the very start of our contact with Matt the service was professional and truly personal, Matt has fulfilled my sons wishes to scatter his fathers ashes in their favourite holiday location where he also remembers his late granny. His father was a lover of all this Radio Controlled so when we found Matt is was the most beautiful and uniquely apt final farewell. The weather couldn’t have graced us better and it complemented Matt’s performance and skill to giving us a flawless send over. For a day that we will remember fondly rather than with sorrow . Thank you Matt and his team for making one of my son’s hardest days be one we know his dad would have loved and enjoyed with coolness.

Matt was absolutely incredible. His manners, atttiude and personality were professional, calm, understanding and positive. He ensured he carefully guided us through each step of a process at a pace which was comfortable for us. The process was well organised and the ashes were treated with the upmost care and dignity. A final goodbye to my dear friend, her brother and sister-in-law. All three were scattered together in their favourite place. Everything went to plan and I was kept updated throughout the organising process. Their ashes were treated with the upmost care.

5 star review is no where near enough for Aerial Ashes Ltd. This company WANTS to make your Farewell Ceremony of your loved one an experience that you will remember. The owner Matt Young is very efficient and professional in arranging your Scattering of Ashes, the Drone Operator we had Rob was polite, relaxed and wanted to do everything he could to allow our ceremony to go ahead, even down to doing the readings for us if I could not have managed. The day of our ash scattering was a rainy day so Rob suggested we went for breakfast and reassemble a couple of hours later when the rain had cleared. Rob patiently waited whilst we did a couple of readings, then he was asked to lift up his drone it was flown around into the correct position in front of us and when we were all ready I pressed the switch to release my husbands ashes. To us and our family the experience was moving, emotional and the best way we could have scattered my husbands ashes over the sea. 5 Star Review is not enough for this firm.

From the first phone call to Aerial Ashes the whole process was easy and dealt with compassionately and the highest dignity.
We had 2 drones to release the ashes of Mum and Dad over the sea. It was a beautiful moment when the ashes merged and Mum and Dad flew off together for the final time

Aerial Ashes will do your loved one(s) proud. We cannot recommend them highly enough. Matt and his team, Andy and Rob, are fantastic. They are professional, friendly, helpful and respectful. It truly is a wonderful service they offer. We could never have done anything ourselves to even come close to being so special and truly memorable for Mum and Dad in respecting their wishes to be scatter together in the Lake District. The weather was perfect as was the location, The Inn on The Lake, Glenridding, with stunning views of Lake Ullswater and the surrounding hills, which they loved.

Matt at Aerial Ashes recently fulfilled a long-held wish of my late wife by scattering her ashes in the sea opposite the Sandbanks Hotel in Poole in front of myself and ten other members of my family. The occasion went exactly as Matt had discussed with me and without a hitch. My grateful thanks to him for making what could have been a sad occasion so perfect.

Aerial ashes were absolutely amazing. They took great care of us with the initial planning to ensure everything went smoothly on the day. Andy, the drone pilot was marvellous. Very respectful with the ashes and my elderly father who was saying goodbye to his son. Everyone in attendance was blown away with the morning and said it was the best send off they had ever been to. We had the most perfect experience with Aerial Ashes. Right from the first contact Matt (Aerial Ashes) was polite, friendly and helpful. All the costs were made clear at the beginning, they took of care of getting any permission and clearances. This made the actual day of the scattering far easier to cope with. It was emotional and personal made possible by Matt’s professional and sensitive approach. Mum was able to press the release button, which made her feel part of the whole process. There wasn’t any hiccups or problems and they treated us with the upmost respect handling Dads ashes with dignity .

This morning Matt and his drone scattered my father’s ashes into the sea from Barton clifftop. Matt discussed with us how we would like it done and described what would happen. He even suggested our little grandson could press the release button. It could not have gone better. Just wish I could tell my father all about it!

Aerial Ashes were excellent all the way through the experience of scattering my father's ashes by drone, from initial contact and arrangements to final send off. We had it scheduled for May but unfortunately, due to the weather, it had to be re-arranged. Finally we met the team at 7 am on a glorious morning in September, you couldn't have wished for a better day. There was mist on the water as the drone carrying the ashes lifted off and the whole event was filmed. I chose some music to play while this was happening and we received a wonderful video afterwards which captured the essence of the day perfectly. Dad, being a techie, would have loved the experience and I now have a special place where I can visit him. Thank you to Aerial Ashes!

Our father passed away recently
He wanted to have his ashes scattered in St Andrews where we used to live and had our best family memories.
It was a challenge as we all needed to be there between a certain time frame from all over the UK and Europe aswell as have the weather align with the location and Aerial Ashes.
Matt was available and responsive including coordinating conversations over the weekends and Bank Holidays to meet safety and flying regulations and the unpredictability of the weather to make this happen.
The location and weather at sunrise was perfect, Chris our drone pilot was so professional and kind. We could release the ashes into the sea with the sun rising and clouds glowing.
It was a wonderful way to say good bye to our father and remember him.
Thank you for enabling this beautiful farewell at a difficult and emotional time. Just as my father would have wanted.

Wow, it's hard to put into words what a wonderful experience we had with Aerial Ashes. Right from the first contact enquiring about scattering my Dad's ashes at sea off Aldeburgh Beach through to and including the actual scattering, we couldn't have asked for better. Christopher was friendly, efficient, accommodating and extremely professional throughout. As a result we had complete faith in him, no stress at all, which enabled us to concentrate on farewelling Dad in the way he wished. On the morning itself Christopher was joined by his colleague Matt who was equally lovely. They handled Dad's ashes very respectfully and liaised well with our priest who gave the committal service during which the drone carrying Dad's ashes was launched. The flight itself was beautiful, no rush, the drone flew around for a while while we watched, it was all so peaceful. When the ashes were finally released it almost felt spiritual, so gentle and peaceful...we watched as they floated and then gently disappeared. What a wonderful experience, it has really helped my family in our grief.

The whole event was conducted sensitively and professionally by Christopher and Matt who made it all feel very personal, at no time did I feel that this was 'just a job' to them. Although they didn't know Dad, I felt as if they did and that we were a team on the day.

We had the flight filmed by Matt via a second drone. The resulting video was sent to us within 3 days of the event and is very high quality - high and low resolution versions with some stills also. My family and I will cherish these forever.

Christopher was helpful at every stage of the process and was respectful and compassionate. On the actual day of the scattering we were advised of the process and gave us all the time we needed. He was also interested in the background and choice of location which we felt made it a more personal experience. I would highly recommend this service as the help given to us made all my concerns disappear and proved to me it was the right and best thing we did. Thank you.
