These “Distributors” are extremely misleading
After shopping around I decided to buy my Pilates machine from this company. I had initially looked at the UK website but they were more expensive and also outside the EU which meant I would have to pay duties so decided the better deal was to buy directly from the European supplier. After I added it to my basket online I received an email with 10% to entice me to purchase and as it was now affordable I did just that. At over €600 for the equipment it was not cheap, a few days before it was to be delivered I got a call to say I had to pay a further €170 to get it delivered as it was coming from the uk. As they are no longer in the EU I had to pay taxes and duties on top of the selling price. When I contacted aeropilates they are actually bodi-tek , an English company prentending online to be from Europe and when I asked for a refund I was waiting for 3 weeks with no feedback and then they completely refused. They said I didn’t pay anymore than I would have if I had bought it directly from them in the UK so they mislead you into thinking your buying at the best price and then use that as their defence which is bazaar! The machine was badly damaged when it arrived also. I would urge others to be aware of the hidden costs. They said I should have read the terms and conditions on the website to locate their scam before I purchased.
