NOT Scandinavian at all. Horrible quality. Prices are insane.
This company is really only "Scandinavian inspired" and not at all Scandinavian designed or sourced. I'm not knocking on Chinese companies, many create great things, but this is most likely not at all a Scandinavian company and is purely a Chinese company using the "inspired" keyword to help sell a product. Additionally, the wood is low quality, it's not the actual wood you're choosing. The color is completely wrong. I got a Walnut shoe horn and it's a splotchy grey color stain on a piece of light brittle wood. I asked them to remedy the solution by actually sending me one that was the correct color, but they said it was not wrong even after sending a photo. The box it comes in is really bad, and the price is horribly overpriced. This sucks big time and I want to warn everyone away from them.

Hi, thanks for taking the time, even though I'm sorry it's under these circumstances. To be clear, AESKA is a Scandinavian company, designed here in Sweden, though like many brands we do manufacture abroad.
But the more important thing is the horn you received. If the Walnut arrived looking splotchy grey on light, brittle wood, that's not the standard we ship, and a photo showing that should have led to a replacement, not a "nothing's wrong."

Avoid - this is NOT Swedish made
The website makes grand claims about Swedish design and top quality Swedish wood. In fact it is all shipped from and made in China. I paid assuming I was getting great quality - only to wait weeks for a very poor quality product which I could have bought from Amazon for a fraction of the price and next day delivery.
Very deceiptful company who are just after your money.

Hi, thanks for the feedback. Just to set the record straight: we never claim our products are "Swedish made" or made from "Swedish wood", we're a Swedish brand with Scandinavian design, and the shoehorn is listed as 100% beechwood.
As you can see, we're founders from Sweden with a registered Swedish company, so we're not from another country pretending to be Swedish. Like many brands, we do manufacture overseas. The Service/Anna was excellent informing me of the delivery process. Highly recommend this company that is truly engaged in building their market.
The Aeska shoehorn product was not only of high quality, but more so, it had the quality of a cabinet maker craft as opposed to a factory. Just the right length and comfort for a foot insert.
I ordered both the walnut and oak. Liking walnut wood as I do, the grain is tight, will patina well and very smooth. The oak is even more a reflection of beauty; almost heartwood as the grain has the look of birdseye maple.

Slow shipping, have not received
Paid for ‘priority shipping’ and yet more than three weeks later it is still showing as ‘in transit.’ No way to track, no promised delivery date, no product.
I’m sorry, but this is a shoe horn. There are thousands of options out there, many of which you can easily receive within 24 hours. Any company that is planning to spend weeks sending you a product should warn ahead of time.
