Written by the company

Invideo is an agentic AI video creation platform. Tell it what you want to make, a film, a brand campaign, a microdrama series, a performance ad, and its agents take it from script to final cut, routing across 200+ AI models to write, storyboard, generate, and edit every shot. From solo creatives to creative enterprises. Every video starts the same way: an idea in your head and a hundred tedious steps between you and the finished cut. Under the hood, invideo's agents route your work across 200+ AI image, video, audio and music models, like Seedance, Kling, Nano Banana, GPT Image, ElevenLabs and more, choosing the right model and writing the right prompt for every single shot. And the agents remember. They hold your characters, follow your brand guidelines, your story in context, so you never repeat yourself. Want to try a new costume, location, or lead actor? Change it across every shot in one instruction instead of regenerating dozens of clips. When you want your hands on the work, it's all there: previz, VFX, hybrid filmmaking, a full timeline editor, multiplayer collaboration, and custom agents you can cast into roles like cinematographer or sound designer. Create films where you direct and the agents sweat the details. Ads that stay on brand in every format from one brief. Microdrama series that scale without losing the plot. One idea, spun into dozens of cuts for every channel.

This isn't a bad AI software to use in general terms. Easy to learn function and has a copyright feature. Perfect for general business. I sell specific products and it constantly changes my unique product images and information even when writing our own scripts. Once in a while it's makes a usable video. Pretty expensive if it's a 1 of 10 created us usable. Edit features sometimes can't fix the issues. Very frustrating when spending coin. For general service industry this would be a good tool. You can upload images and product photos. I'm having issues with it adding features and changing image likeness. Inconsistent generation of product and character development.

They make it impossible fo find a chat box, let alone to talk to someone. Invideo Ai is very bad. It makes plenty of mistakes.Take a long time to make a small bad video. Get stuck at 47% Each time you try to edit, it takes more of your credits. This thing is plain Terrible!

Misleading and dishonest, wastes your time by stealing your video and then "processes" it for 5-8 minutes before promoting you for payment at the very last step after wasting your time

Negative 1 million!! SCAM ALERT.

Negative 1 million!!! I tried the PLUS plan, can't even finish creating a single 35 seconds video, all credits are used up. SCAM SCAM. Credits are very expensive, and you need a lot to generate a single 10 seconds video. Very disappointing.

The AI agent said clips generation failed, but it was clearly successfully generated. Then the agent tried to generate again just to use up the credits. Run away from this platform. Never use this. They will just run away with your money, you won't get anything.

This is the worst AI platform ever. No transparency. They will just ask you ti add credits and add credits without output or getting anything.

Video Help.

I had a previous email from Nicky (with ai.invideo) and today I had an issue with a video I was editing. I sent an email to Nicky and she replied almost immediately. I thought it was an AI agent. She was awesome. She got my permission to view the video and guided me through fixing it. I am no tech person and we got it done. The video is done, uploaded to YouTube and ready to be published. I am thrilled to have a live person to contact when there is an issue. This is what real service means. Thank You. Eric W.

Scam AI Company to Get You to Pay and Subscribe without Transparency

Just a scam company - offering 'free' AI video generation to get you started. Then as you work on your project, it will prompt you to add 'credits', AFTER you have spent a good amount of time. That's the hook. I added a $20 monthly subscription to finish my AI video, but it literally took 5 minutes to advise me that I had already used up my credits and in order to continue, I need to add more credits. This process is not transparent or intuitive. AVOID INVIDEO!!!

Real people who really care

InVideo is something rare these days: a company that is responsive and that truly cares about its customers. I had a billing issue and was in touch with real people who, when I let them know I was having a health challenge and that recitifying the problem online would be hard for me, took care of it for me. These are good people with a good product.

Useless stock-footage generator masquerading as a real video editor

Don't waste a single second signing up for InVideo AI under the impression that it will automate your marketing video. They falsely advertise a powerful "Text to Video" workflow, but the exact moment you upload your own authentic local media clips, the entire automated pipeline blocks you unless you cough up a premium subscription. Their free tier forces you to use cheap, generic stock footage, locks your export at an embarrassing 720p resolution, caps your audio minutes, and slaps a permanent watermark on the render. It is completely misleading trash built to bait creators.

After $150, I'm still without the finished product I came here for.

I chose InVideo AI because the marketing promised a premium, streamlined experience for creating high-quality AI videos — exactly what I needed for my startup's marketing. The reality was completely different. I found myself stuck in a broken workflow that forced me to:
- re-record and regenerate voice tracks repeatedly due to persistent glitches,
- troubleshoot and manually correct sequencing problems,
- export individual scenes one by one instead of a finished file,
- and complete the majority of the editing using entirely separate tools.

Here's the fundamental issue: InVideo markets itself as delivering a finished video product, but what you actually receive are disconnected AI-generated building blocks. The real work — assembly, corrections, editing, and sourcing additional tools — is still entirely on you.

At no stage did the platform live up to what the pricing implies. When I raised the issue after spending around $150, I was refused a refund because credits had been consumed. That reasoning doesn't hold up — those credits were spent chasing a product that was advertised but never actually delivered. The distinction between "Autopilot" and "Agent One" was also presented far too vaguely for customers to make an informed choice, especially considering how different the costs and outcomes are. The premium AI video experience InVideo promises simply does not exist.

I signed up to InVideo AI expecting a…

I signed up to InVideo AI expecting a polished, end-to-end AI video creation tool that could handle a professional marketing video for my startup. What I got instead was a disjointed and frustrating process that required me to:

- regenerate voiceovers over and over due to constant errors,
- manually fix broken scene ordering,
- download individual clips one at a time,
- and do most of the actual editing outside the platform entirely.

The core problem is straightforward: the platform sells you the idea of a finished premium video, but what you're actually purchasing are raw AI-generated components that still demand significant manual work, external tools, and technical know-how to assemble properly.

Nothing about the experience matched the price point.

After burning through roughly £200 in credits just trying to get the platform to function as advertised, I was denied a refund on the grounds that "credits had been used." That's hardly a justification — I used those credits attempting to get the product InVideo promised me.

The difference between "Autopilot" and "Agent One" modes was also never explained clearly enough given the wildly different pricing and expectations attached to each.

This is not the seamless, professional AI filmmaking tool the marketing claims it to be.

£200 later and I still don’t have the…

£200 later and I still don’t have the finished product I paid for.

I subscribed to InVideo AI expecting a premium AI video creation platform capable of producing a polished marketing video for my startup. What I actually got was a confusing and fragmented workflow where I had to:

- regenerate voices repeatedly because they were incorrect,
- fix broken sequencing,
- manually download scenes one by one,
- and rebuild large parts of the project outside the platform myself.

The biggest issue is this:
you are made to feel like you are paying for a finished premium video experience, but in reality you are often just paying for generated ingredients that still require major assembly, editing, fixing, and additional tools.

At no point did the actual experience reflect the premium pricing.

And after spending around £200 and using credits while trying to make the platform work properly, I was then told I am not eligible for a refund because “credits were consumed.”

Of course credits were consumed — I was trying to create the product the platform advertised.

The distinction between “Autopilot” and “Agent One” was nowhere near clear enough relative to the pricing and expectations being created.

This is not the premium seamless AI filmmaking experience the marketing suggests.

Absolutely terrible experience with Invideo

Absolutely terrible experience with this platform. I have never seen such a bad and misleading credit system in my life. I still have more than 700 credits available, yet the system keeps forcing me to add more money and constantly blocks normal usage. Cancelling the subscription is almost impossible and the whole setup feels designed to trap users instead of helping them.

The customer service is completely useless. Slow responses, no real solutions, and nobody seems to care about existing customers. The platform itself is confusing, overpriced, and far from user-friendly.

I honestly regret using this tool and would strongly recommend everyone to stay away from it. There are many better alternatives with transparent pricing and professional support. This has been one of the worst online service experiences I’ve ever had.

Hi Henk Jan,

We’re sorry to hear about your experience and understand how frustrating it must have felt to see a “not enough credits” message while still having credits available.

We checked your case and can confirm that your account still had credits available.

The “not enough credits” message was related to the monthly Extra Credits spending limit, not because the credits were missing. When that spending limit is reached, the system can prevent further generation even if the account still shows a credit balance.

Our team shared the steps to resolve this:

Profile icon → Usage → Extra Credits section → Monthly spending limit

From there, the limit can be increased or set to Unlimited. Once updated, you can return to the Agent One project and type “continue” so generation can proceed using the available credits.

We also clarified that having credits in the account does not prevent cancellation. The plan can be cancelled anytime through the Subscription page.

The credits were available on the account, and the next required step was to increase the monthly spending limit from the Usage page.

I recently spent over three hours attempting to generate usable content with InVideo AI, and unfortunately, the experience was entirely unproductive. Despite following the prompts and attempting multiple iterations, the output did not meet professional standards. For a tool marketed as an efficiency booster, the workflow is counter-intuitive and the results are disappointing. I cannot recommend this for anyone who values their time or requires high-quality output.

InVideo AI is not worth trying

I signed up for InVideo AI to automate a simple daily news roundup. What I found was not a tool, but a credit-draining trap designed to burn through your balance before you can even export a draft, with a barely comprehensible AI that speaks in code, to boot.

Despite setting specific limits (2-3 credits per video), their "Agent" went on a rogue spending spree—burning 56 credits on "storyboards," "style locks," and "generative failures" that resulted in zero usable content. When the AI fails to render a clip or messes up basic right-to-left Hebrew text, it doesn't apologize or refund you; it simply charges you again to "try" and fix its own mistake.

The interface is built to hide the true cost of production. It lures you in with "automation" but delivers high-cost, low-quality stock "mashups" that you could do for free in CapCut in half the time. If you value your time and your wallet, stay far away. This isn't AI innovation; it's a credit-laundering scheme disguised as a video editor.

Talking with their customer service only gets you canned replies about how they offer no refunds.

Avoid this scam until they stop charging for their own hallucinations and rendering errors.

am currently stuck with this AI video…

am currently stuck with this AI video generation platform and unable to get proper support from the company.

About 9 days ago, I purchased the $20 subscription plan expecting to create and export videos normally. However, while creating my very first video, the platform suddenly informed me that my credits were already finished and asked me to upgrade to a much more expensive plan.

The problem is that I never exported even one single video, and I did not generate images either. I mainly upload my own stock footage for faceless videos because the built-in stock media library is limited for my needs.

What is even more frustrating is that there seems to be no direct customer support option available to solve this issue properly.

I am simply trying to understand how my credits were consumed before exporting my first project.

Can anyone help me reach this platform’s support team or explain how this happened?

Hi,

We’re sorry about the trouble with your credits and the difficulty in reaching support. Credits are used during any AI creation process, for example, when using certain built-in tools or assets, even if you haven’t exported yet.

Please reach out to us directly at support@invideo.io so we can look into your account and resolve this as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience and thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Don't trust them

Don't trust them, They aren't worth their expense. I thought they were the best on the market especially before the new 4.0 update. But there are SEVERAL reasons for Red Flags. One, there site speaks in a language that is difficult to understand and there is no one around to ask questions to any longer. They used to have a chat team but now there is only Discord, who else hates that?

Anyways, to be blunt, everything is put in a way to where they made it up with minimal explanation, or in a way to where you just simply have to understand the information already or read the terms and conditions thoroughly, Sorry, I know this is a business but why is every body and every business becoming more dishonorable and untrustworthy? As if they dont want to see you win or rise above. Like everyone is scaming you. Like a casino? The Language is like Google Adsense.

Their new system said it would only use less then 10 credits , long story short, it gave me all my pieces of the video and had me piece it together. Im like. What the heck happened to invideo doing the video for you? this is what I am paying these people for. Without any explanation or searching, my dumb self asked it to put it together, the AI system did not state it would run extra credits. Long story short, not only did it not put the video together but it also ate up 160 credits due to the conversation so I was informed via email support team....

So when I asked for a refund. Yeah that was out of the questions, they had a stern No with no honor of reimbursing credits for my troubles or even partial refunding me for unused credits because its not in their guidlines or what ever. Trust me. Swerve elsewhere....As a matter of fact, start talking to support before you even sign up for a company and ask them questions about their honor and loyalty to customers and refund policies etc, because you might get another invideo. $225 down the drain.
