Not rude
Not rude, not unresponsive, just didn't know what they were talking about and led me on a wild goose chase on a shipment I was desperate to make. They took a large amount of my money and effort in arranging for a time sensitive delivery they couldn't come thru on and should have known about before I did. My advice is to plan your own shipments regarding Alaska freight. Avoid these guys.

I apologize that we were not able to provide the service you requested. It was not a matter of not knowing what we were talking about.
Unfortunately, we requested space with Alaskan Airlines Cargo before quoting you and they assured us they had ample space for your Priority Air shipment from Anchorage. It wasn't until we called to actually make a booking with Alaskan Cargo that we were told by their customer service call center that they were "unaware of the one week backlog in Anchorage". We were extremely frustrated and upset with Alaska Cargo as well for misrepresenting their capacity. We had no reason to doubt the veracity of their information when we quoted you.
Our staff spent several hours researching multiple alternative options, including air charter, partial shipments and ocean/barge service. None were viable.
As we advised earlier this afternoon, we are offering a full refund to your credit card when our Accounting Department reopens tomorrow morning.
