I ordered from Air Con Centre on…
I ordered from Air Con Centre on Saturday expecting next working day delivery, assuming this would be Monday or possibly Tuesday if there were delays. When I hadn’t heard anything by Monday, I emailed for an update but received no response. I called on Tuesday and was told they would investigate and get back to me, and later found out the item was actually out of stock. On Wednesday I was informed by email that the item had finally been dispatched, meaning delivery would be at least another two days. Five days later I am still waiting for the item. Overall, I feel communication was poor and the issue only came to light because I chased it, otherwise it may have gone unnoticed. I would rate the experience three stars due to the delays and lack of proactive updates.

Having looked into your order, it appears it was affected by an issue with our external DPD warehouse, where orders placed on or after Saturday were incorrectly allocated to a later shipping date and had to be manually amended. I'm also not sure why your order wasn't dispatched sooner, as we didn't appear to be out of stock of your item and DPD had confirmed these orders would be shipped on Tuesday for delivery the following day.
I'm pleased to see your order is now out for delivery today, and your one-hour DPD delivery timeslot should be available shortly. We're very sorry for the frustration this has caused and appreciate you bringing your experience to our attention.

I was very impressed given that I ordered the item on Friday and it turned up Saturday morning. I needed it by the Monday so that was a relief. Also, It was a very good deal and nothing was charged for delivery.

Device broken when unboxed
Order AC-0176423 - Device broken when unboxed.
Clearly broken during manufacture so not Aircon Centres fault really. You can see that from the way the assembly was forced.
Been trying for for a week to contact Air Con Centre multiple ways to resolve it; still no reply. Checked email addresses on returns forms - all good.
Terrible support service.

Devola 9000 portable Air conditioning unit
Ordered this aircon unit on 18th june and it arrived next day.
Cools our bedroom down perfectly, yes it is abit noisy but I can cope with that better than i can night sweats!

I’m delighted with my MeacoCool…
I’m delighted with my MeacoCool portable air conditioner. It was very easy to set up and the window kit is perfect for my top-hinged casement window. It is ideal for my small bedroom and discreet enough to stay for the summer! The fan is quite loud but is only a small inconvenience. Ordering was easy and delivery prompt by a most kind and helpful young man who was delighted to help my husband carry the unit upstairs.

Bought an aircon unit but it wasn’t in stock, offered an alternative unit which I accepted and then went on holiday for 2 weeks. Unfortunately the replacement unit was unsuitable for us and there returns policy is 14 days. Be mindful of the returns policy with this company when purchasing.

However, we would like to clarify that our returns policy is clearly stated prior to purchase and applies equally to all orders. As the replacement unit was accepted and retained for over two weeks whilst you were away on holiday, the request to return it was received outside of our 14-day change-of-mind returns period.
We always encourage customers to review our returns policy before purchasing, particularly if they anticipate being away or unable to inspect the product within the return window. While we appreciate that your holiday plans affected the timing, unfortunately we are unable to extend the policy on that basis.
We're pleased that we were able to offer an alternative unit when your original choice was unavailable and are sorry that it ultimately did not meet your needs.
