Sms's on "new" sim

I bought a simcard for a month. I get sms's from KBank about withdrawals, which is a bit worrying. Several daily. On the sim are even sms's from 2022!
I called AIS and the said they can do nothing about it. It is from the previous owner of the phone number. And what about 2022 then?
Next time i choose DTAC again. Never experienced this with them.
No complaints about the internet speed though. But customer service really sucks

Treat customers very poorly

Thinks they can treat customers like idiots and lie to us. I called to complain about my home internet and the guy told me to switch my LAN ports and it will fix itself in 2-3 days... I'm not an idiot and can see bs when they give bs, they keep promising follow-up contact but will never follow up unless you call them through sales department and pretend you are trying to buy new package.

Very bad connection, slow or zero

I am in Jomtien, even Ais told me the connection there is not good. But I canceled already True what is the worst telecom provider. Today I tried to sent data through Gmail and whatsapp. All failed. And for this shit service in a 1 year abonnement I pay 430 baht per month. It is not so much the money but the service. It is so bad. Even in Central when the cliënt service of SCB installed their product on my phone it took so long, they thought I had Dtac. I said no, it's that Fantastic Ais. Never take it, they don't provide what they promise.

Terrible connection, unreliable support.

Terrible after sales service. Been having multiple internet disruptions, called their hotline and no available assistance was provided. Was told to wait for a technician which is available 3 days later. I am operating a business how can I go 3 days without the internet? Terrible and unreliable service. Will definitely change another service provider. AIS should be ashamed of themselves.

Very bad internet service

I've been using AIS for over 3 years but these few weeks, the service keep disappearing. One moment the service is 4 blocks, one moment 1/0. The connection and the phone service is so extremely bad. And the data shows 5G but cannot use mobile data for about a few minutes and come back on, I didn't pay money to have an unreliable connection.

Every (working) day no internet for hours

Every (working) day in the morning no internet for hours. This is no coincidence anymore because it happens every time around the same time. They probably do maintenance, because in the weekend it is surprisingly good and there is no malfunction. Because then they (fortunately) do not work.
But in the meantime they make the customer pay the full price, while there is no internet for hours every working day!

I’ve been a loyal AIS customer for over…

I’ve been a loyal AIS customer for over five years, and up until recently, my experience was good. However, my trust in AIS has been completely shattered after a frustrating and unreasonable experience with their billing system and customer support.

After topping up my account as usual, my balance disappeared without explanation. When I contacted support, they told me the deduction was for two subscription services I supposedly signed up for—one almost a year ago and the other over a year ago. The problem? I have never knowingly subscribed to these services, nor would I ever sign up for something like a Horoscope or "Doo-Duang 2."

When I questioned why I had never been charged before and why my balance was suddenly deducted now, the support team completely dodged the question. Their only response was that the subscriptions were canceled and I wouldn’t be charged again—no explanation, no accountability.

I’m not upset about losing 100 baht; what frustrates me the most is that AIS considers this normal. A subscription I "supposedly" signed up for years ago, which never charged me before, suddenly deducting my balance out of nowhere? That’s not normal—that’s shady.

Now, I have zero confidence that my next top-up won’t result in more unexpected charges. The lack of transparency and unwillingness to properly address concerns has completely eroded my trust in AIS. If you value clarity and fair billing, be very cautious with this provider.

It is a very exspensive and not good serviceservice

It is a very exspensive service

Ob a holiday for 6 weeks I started with a one month contract for around 20€.
Normaal i only need for emergencies , my European sim did not work.
After that i did a top up for 100 bath.switched off my roaming , mobile data, only used wifi, only wanted to have a sim for urgent matters.
AiS kept on sending messages that i do not have balance left .
AIS informed me it can take ip to 3 days before the balance is updated.

The only thing that happend after my top up is that: 20 messages from AIS.

I tried to complain ...but .. they keep on saying I used all data.

So .Dear reader ...never use AIS
I really cannot recommend !

Expensive, bad quality of service.. loss of money

Astoundingly impossibly bad…

Astoundingly impossibly bad online interface. Literally couldn’t pay even once i managed to create an account and log in and find the page for the esims and then added it to my cart. They just wouldn’t let me hit continue…

Worse, i bought an eSIM at the airport and it ran out of data before I had reached the quantity I purchased

Very bad experience

I bought an esim before landing in Thailand and activated it on arrival but ot lasted only 2 days i. Spite of data use of only 2GB of 15GB allowed. Customer services by email were hopeless, alternatively blaming me or admitting fault but not resolving the issue then or 2 weeks later.
I bought an card from Airalo which was better value and worked seamlessly.

I bought a SIM card with 5G internet…

I bought a SIM card with 5G internet for 1000, but the 5G only worked for a few days. I went to them at Central Phuket to ask why I only had 4G and why the internet was slow. They didn't give any explanation about the 5G; supposedly, the girl reset the SIM card, but nothing changed. In the end, I approached them about five times, and none of them helped me. AIS is the pits.

Lost 1200 thb

I lost 1200 THB. I ordered an eSIM well before my trip to Thailand. Upon receiving the QR code to activate it, I noticed that activation had to be done before my arrival. I contacted AIS to extend my activation date, which they confirmed. However, when I arrived in Thailand, the eSIM didn't work. I contacted AIS, and they asked for a screenshot of the error, my phone model, and then again for the specific error code I was receiving. Overall, it has been a completely awful experience.
