One star is the minimum I can give,I've tried paying my TV licence today both at the post office and on line.
1st, couldn't pay at post office because there's no payment slip with it.
2nd, tried paying on line through my smartphone but can only pay online through a computer which I've not got so no joy there.
The lovely woman in the post office said I could pay at a paypoint shop, GRT that was the problem in the first place....akinika please send a payment slip with the letter then people have more chance to pay..
My debt is with TV Licence
My debt is with TV Licence, which I accept fully. However, this company contacted me out of the blue to set up a standing order, which I pay regularly-weekly. Now they say that it was set up fortnightly and that I need to pay it fortnightly not weekly! This company is so incompetent that it cannot tell its staff to change their information to acknowledge that the payments arrive weekly rather than fortnightly!!
I now receive weekly calls stating that I am not upholding my agreement, though they have confirmed that they have received said payments though weekly. I requested that they get TV Licence to contact me-now concerned with the legitimacy of this company!!-and am still waiting two weeks later!
I am going to email TV Licence now attaching a copy of this complaint!
On the letter I received it states that …
On the letter I received it states that if you call them early after receiving the letter, you have more options in setting up a flexible repayment plan. However, this was not the case when I called them. I have to pay the due amount in two weeks.Further more the amount on the letter does not equal the amount I was told over the phone.
unprofessional
they would phone and when i confirmed my address they hung up seemed very unprofessional
very unreasonable people
very unreasonable people hate talking to them and very rude they never let you speak or listen at all!
Unhelpful & hung up!
Trying to explain to the unhelpful lady that their information was inaccurate she hung up on me!
Despite saying on the letter they sent …
Despite saying on the letter they sent me to not contact TV Licensing as they would refer me back to Akinika, this was a total mistruth, I logged into my account online, paid the missed payments and set up my direct debit again.
Several calls a day, I ended up blocking their number!
harassment
i received a bill from this so called company over dentist charges and called them to explain i was unemployed at the time and they responded i must have ticked the wrong box on the back of the form so i have to prove i was unemployed and send in my unemployment letters.
even though they cant prove to me the wrong box on the back of the form was ticked to state i was on job seekers/universal credit at the time of treatment i have to prove to this company i wasn't working
so after going out my way to get the unemployment office to send me repeated letters showing i was unemployed i emailed the letters in to receive an email back asking me to be patient on response as they were inundated with emails.
Monday i receive yet again another request for the money in a text message to call up to be told its been 30 days on hold so the hold is taken off an they haven't even got round to reading my email showing i was not working yet.
today i receive yet again another bill from this company by post.
the response on the phone is bad attitude and disrespect from this company and am fed up with calls and letters.
what gets me is why this company cannot call up to check with the unemployment office if i was or was not unemployed at the time
they say the phone call is recorded an i hope to god it is so the ombudsman can listen to the way they deal with people.
ile happily tick the box and resend proof of my unemployment at the time to your complaints department you bunch of stalkers.
Fair company
None of us like owing money but I received a bill for over £500 which I did not dispute.
Akinika were very fair and professional at all times
A suitable repayment plan was sent up and I was able to make payments online at my convenience.
