I'm not really sure what the benefit is for having the Alias app. It's kind of clunky, from a design perspective. It's also a pain to have to go between two apps to cash out or list items for sale.... See more

BEWARE! NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH ALIAS
Alias is a horrible company to do business with. They advertised via notification on March 13th, 2025 to list the “Salehe Bembury New Balance 991v2 Colors Be The Pallet” minutes after the first “online only exclusive” release on beaspunge.com @ 12pm 3/13/25. As a result, dozens of sellers who were lucky enough to receive an order confirmation on beaspunge.com’s release listed their pairs on Alias immediately, as directed by Alias. Buyers that weren't lucky enough to get a confirmed order for retail price on beaspunge.com saw that pairs were being listed on Alias and naturally started making purchases / offers on the shoes. Unlike many platforms such as StockX, eBay, etc who give 1-2 weeks minimum to ship shoes (especially if the it’s known information that the release was online exclusive only, which it was advertised as such all over the internet). Instead, once the shoes would sell, Alias was giving only 3 days to ship the shoes (not business days) after a listing for this model shoe would sell on Alias (that was an online exclusive release). This means no one has their shoes in their possession yet, only a confirmation email of the order placed through beaspunge.com. Third party selling platforms know this and give more time for the shoes to be shipped / arrive to the original purchaser after the pair was already listed & sold on their platform, who can then ship the shoes directly to the third party platform to fulfill the order / send to the secondary buyer. This is an industry standard, and Alias is doing the opposite. Alias displayed utter negligence and predatory practices by advertising to all accounts to “list yours now” minutes after the release ended. This was an intentional move to pump up buyer / seller engagement, increase app / site traffic, increase sales, increase % per sale made, and then impose “order cancellation fees” on accounts to make more money. This fraudulent business tactic goes directly against a rule buried within their policy, stating you must have the item you are selling in your possession before listing the item for sale on Alias. Then why advertise to all accounts to list your pair now if it was an online exclusive release? In addition to this, sellers have the option to contact customer support (which is an absolute joke, they only have email as a point of contact, no phone number. Replies can take several days, if they ever reply. I’ve had numerous occasions where Alias never replied back to my inquiries to this very day. They will also reply without addressing / answering your questions or ignoring your requests entirely) so when I sold two pairs of these shoes and Alias’s app said I had only 3 days to ship them, I sent in a customer support request. Sellers have the option to request a grace period / timeframe extension for shipping out your items, so that’s what I did the same day I sold the two pairs. To my dismay, Alias NEVER REPLIED, I waited 3 days for an answer and approval for the shipping time extension and they never answered me. In fact, they never replied to my email ever. Instead, they cancelled both of my orders once their timeframe expired, penalized my account standing (points scale, determines how much of percentage Alias takes from each sale. Dropped my account by 20 points which is significant considering you gain 2 points for every correctly fulfilled order), and then charged my account for an order cancellation fee! I trusted Alias would give their sellers more time to ship like every other third party selling platform did / does, especially since they advertised / encouraged people to list your pairs now, especially since it was known advertised information that the release was online only exclusive via beaspunge.com. This goes beyond negligence, all signs point to these tactics being intentional, predatory and methodically planned. Do not ever do business with Alias / GOAT as a buyer or seller, you will most certainly regret it. If this wasn’t enough for you to stay away from Alias, here’s the cherry on top: Alias doesn’t allow you to delete your own account or personal information, you have to contact the customer support to request it (the same customer support that at the very best take days to reply, but usually never replies / ignores requests). Even if you get a reply and a customer support agent who actually addresses your request, they will tell you that they can deactivate your account only. Their policy states you can request your account and personal info to be deleted, but their customer support agents are advised to only deactivate accounts, not delete them (so they can still hold onto your personal information and make money from it by selling your info / using it to their advantage). ABSOLUTE GARBAGE COMPANY! RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AS FAST AS YOU CAN!
Great Selling Experience
I had an incorrect return address for my shoes. I sent the message over the weekend and it was updated and corrected in the first business day!
App has multiple flaws
They told me to reference the pictures within the app that do not work. I have tried multiple times to see the reference pictures and they do not work. The app has serious flaws. So now I'm stuck with a bunch of listing I can't list because I can't see the pictures because I wasn't told what was wrong with the pictures I provided.
I dropped off my pair of shoes brand…
I dropped off my pair of shoes brand new in box with original nike bag. After verification I was told my shoe box didn't have a lid. Also told be the buyer would be offered a discount of 5 percent and if rejected I would be charge 10 dollars either way they lost my box at the drop-off center. I feel so scammed and will never use them to sell another shoe.
