My experience!

I'll just keep it short and sweet. I stumbled across this platform and decided to give them a shot. Needless to say, after the inspector came out, and assessed my vehicle, I get the run around for a few days and they send me an email stating that they would only offer me a fraction of what my initial offer was. I politely declined. Even after providing all the paperwork, they tried to low ball me. It was clear that the inspector and whoever the guy was that was texting me, were on not on the same page. That was a red flag from the beginning. Long story short, I'm not bashing this platform, just giving my experience.

If I could rate them no stars I would

If I could rate them no stars I would. I ordered the pen from their website and it was empty with no nib despite being in clear packaging. This is an expensive scam and cost me £19.99. Do not buy!!!

Allcars.com Not A Legitimate Option

Allcars.com is not a good option for someone looking for a legitimate offer on their used car. While they are anxious to get your information and inspect your car, they are unprofessional and avoid returning calls or communications in order to finalize the transaction or even get a real quote from them. Any company that is unwilling to be upfront in their process is not worth your effort. There are too many options in the resale market to deal with companies that do not make good on their promise.

Purchase the magic pen

Purchase the magic pen. What a waste of money does nothing at all. I am now trying to get my money back including the postage As it has cost me £10 to return it to them.

They have completely ignored my request for the refund and told me how good their product is, They told me once I issued them with the tracking number they would refund me. They have not refunded me. I am taking this to my bank and trading standards. They stated that the terms and conditions said that they would not pay the postage however consumer 2015 states differently but they refusing. Please avoid to save yourself a lot of hassle and money.

From the first phone call to the last

From the first phone call to the last, Jim Inzinga was professional, responsive and courteous on every occasion. The car inspection was done in a timely manner and we received a fair price for our truck. We had payment within 24 hours. The entire experience was refreshing in today’s world of unkept promises and non-existent customer service. Thanks Jim.

They tried to cheat me

I live in VT. I contacted AllCars online about selling my 4 year old Mazda CX3 with under 25K miles. Jim made an initial tentative offer of $17,200, subject to inspection. I offered to have a local repair shop do an inspection, but Jim said that he would send someone from NY to do it instead. That should have been a warning, but I thought Jim was doing me a favor. The AllCars inspector came out and said that he felt my car had been in a major accident: that the front passenger door looked repainted and puttied, albeit expertly. This is not true. The car is almost new and has never been in an accident. I bought the car one year ago from a Mazda dealer. It was a certified used car and I have the CarFax report and updates. I told the inspector and Jim that there had never been accident. Despite this, Jim lowered his offer by almost $4,000. Of course I declined. I feel like Jim and AllCars tried to cheat me by inventing a reason to low-ball me. They are dishonest.

Prompt and painless

It's hard to believe that the experience of selling my car was so painless. Jim explained all the steps involved and answered all my questions promptly. His final offer was better than all the other potential buyers. The dealer offered me $6,000 for a trade-in. All cars paid me $9,500. Two other potential buyers were somewhere in between. The check arrived overnight and the car was picked up the next day!

All cars is the real deal!

I started with dealerships. Got several offers. So I decided to use some of the .com sites. I tried Carmax, We buy any car and Allcars.com Allcars.com came in with an initial offer on my 2018 Honda Accord that was way above the dealerships! We buy any car contacted me first. But couldn’t get a field rep to me for a week. Vinny from Allcars.com reached out to me with an offer and I told him I had a couple other companies coming to look at the car. This was a Friday. He said I will have a guy come inspect the car on Monday! They sent a third party guy out to come to inspect the car. He went over the car with a fine toothed comb! Took an hour! The next day Vinny contacted me with a final offer that was a couple hundred dollars less but was still thousands of dollars over the dealership offers. I agreed. I was a bit apprehensive about signing a contract and sending over night my title to a stranger. I texted Vinny that I wasn’t comfortable doing that so he called me personally and talked to me and explained how everything works. I even told him that because his name was Vinny from New York that it made me uncomfortable! Lol! I sent everything with the label they provided. The next day he said he got it and that my check was on the way! I got the check the next day and deposited it by phone and the check has already cleared and they haven’t even picked up the car yet! Super fast, super easy, and super fair! Guys if your car is a piece? Pictures can be deceiving! They will inspect every inch of your vehicle with special tools! Even a microphone for the engine and a smell detector for the interior! They are no joke and they are professionals! You will get a fair offer for what your car is worth! Thank you Vinny and thank you Allcars.com. I have your money! Now come get your car!

Replacing parts without consent

Booked my car in for an MOT. Staff are nice and friendly but I’m concerned about removing and replacing parts without my consent, the wiper blades were changed and I was charged double for the identical blades available on line. I won’t be using this garage again

I made an agreement to have my car picked up and they were a no show

I made an agreement to have my car picked up on Friday from 7am-11am. No call and a no show from the company. i made 3 phone calls to them. they said we will have someone out there. i waited till 3 before rescheduling. they set me up once again for today (Tuesday) once again no call and a no show. Once again I called them to ask why. They say they are busy I totally understand. But come on, iv missed 2 days of work because they couldn't take the time to call and let me know. They arnt going to pay for the days iv missed. There is no way id suggest useing this place. common curtesy to contact a customer goes a long way. Instead of me leaving a bad review on here, yelp and google.

On Nov 25 Allcars made me an offer of…

On Nov 25 Allcars made me an offer of $69,475 for my car. On Dec 5 the appraiser inspected the car and no issues. On Dec 6 the Allcars rep called me and confirmed that the vehicle was in great condition. However “the market had changed” for my vehicle and they could only offer $63,000. Really? The market on the car dropped $6,475 in 11 days? I could believe some drop but almost a 10% drop, hard to believe.
They shouldn’t make offers they can’t keep on cars that pass appraiser inspection.
They took up my time and other opportunities and didn’t live up to their end.
Untrustworthy.

Smooth and quick sales process

The process was smooth, easy, seamless. I worked with Vinny throughout and he kept me posted and explained each step of the process. My check arrived when he said it would in the amount we agreed upon. Would recommend selling your car to the them.

Don't truct Allcars.com

Received an offer from allcars.com. The first inspector never showed up or called to say they were not showing up. When inspector did show up they told my wife and I the car was in excellent condition. When I received the feedback from allcars.com they reduced offer by 2000.00 due to inspection report. Jim and pete were horrible to deal with. While there customer service team was polite, their communication and lack of timely responses were poor.

They tried to low ball me on my car and…

They tried to low ball me on my car and lied about the inspection they did. The person who conducted the inspection told me the engine sounded like new, then allcar tried telling me the engine was making weird noises according to the inspector. Carmax was more trustworthy and fair.

Don't trust an online offer to purchase from Allcars.com

They made an online offer to purchase my car and then ghosted me for three days after I left messages and emails. I finally got someone to answer the phone and they reneged on the offer and left me hanging with two other competing companies. They told me my car had too many miles, but they knew the mileage when they made me an offer.

Very poor customer service

Very poor customer service. They are in it to get money for them. I contacted them about selling my car. They set up an appointment. And never showed up. Never answered emails, texts. Did live chat and got nowhere with a very rude person. Vinny was pretty much a liar. They did the car inspection after the second time missing it they just showed up …..’buyer. Beware they take your car and do all kinds of strange things to it. You don’t know what they’re doing to it and they don’t let you see the report afterwards they just come back and say nope sorry what we offered is more than what we should have offered.. I said that my car is a brand new 2022 dodge charger GT in mint condition With only 2000 miles on it. and everybody else offered 32,000 for it but they wouldn’t go up to 32. They offered 31,175 They just sit and tell you the cars not worth it. But yet you can’t see the report nor ask what even was wrong with it they say it’s confidential. I talked to two other people that sold their car and when their car finally sold, they sold it for $6000 more than they offered . The whole thing is a scam. They told me that all car paid them with a personal check. Which took up to two weeks to clear. In the meantime, they have your car your title and everything that’s something I would not trust.
