Such a joke!!

Such a joke!!

Very disappointed with how my move-out process has been handled.
It has now been over a month since I moved out and there was no update at all regarding my deposit until I kept chasing repeatedly.
Now I have suddenly been provided with a check-out report and told that cleaning charges may be deducted.
What I do not understand is this: I repeatedly requested the check-in report during my tenancy and never received it. If I was never provided with a check-in report, what exactly is the standard being used to compare the condition of the apartment at move-out?
I also raised concerns about issues in the apartment from the beginning, including drainage and general condition, and followed up multiple times.

Please please avoid this company. Especially, Beton apartment in Wembley.

Avoid

We moved into one of their Ockley park new build properties in between sale and purchase. As working professionals ourselves, we expected a corportate landlord to provide a good service. We received no information about the unusual heating system. The lack of information on heating system has resulted in high bills for us. No check in. We have been left so far c. 4 weeks with no heating. Our little boy has been ill as a result. We were given 3 expensive to run radiators without a solution or anyone willing to attend to the property. No one calls you back. No one replies to your emails. We have had one call back in the last week. DONT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!

Allsop Residential Auction Team

I dealt with Zoe, Hugo and Jeni in the Residential Auction Team, and their service was excellent.
I moved from an initial telcon with Zoe at 9:30am to bidding on a property in the early afternoon.
Amongst the team, they got me signed up and approved to enter the auction - in an impressively swift amount of time.

Just Ben

After speaking to Ben for such a short time, I felt as if I've known him for a longer period of time. He was very calm and professional at all times. Very helpful and 100% understanding to our requirements. An asset to any company.

If I could put zero stars I would

If I could put zero stars I would. Moved in during coldest week in January 2025 heating did not work, was a week before it was fixed and I have 3 children. Contractors were painting the property the day I was moving in which through no fault of my own ended up with scuffs and fingerprints on walls and window sills due to wet paint. Downstairs toilet unusable for whole year due to rubble in the pipe from the builders. Have now moved out and being charged over £2000 for the whole house being repainted. Constantly emailing and calling but no contact back.

Very disapointing communication

They are listing properties for renters in our area, do not answer any of the phone numbers listed within adverts, addresses for their business dont exsist when go to visit a human, emails if replied to took months, to be honest as a first time renter i hope this isnt the type of service we are to expect elsewhere, but looking at the reviews here, this company is one to stay clear of, thank you all for your reviews.

Be very cautious as they require a current landlord reference which most won't give until you have given notice. After going through the very annoying home check portal they use they said we need landlord reference now, I explained to do that I have to give notice and potentially make myself homeless as they will not tell you if the application is accepted subject to landlord review. We know our reference will be good but unless we know that the application has been agreed with just this to happen then who in thier right mind is going to take a risk on being homeless because these people won't tell you important information. It's a ridiculous process and will I imagine cause many people to not bother.
Update - whatever the agent who shows you around tells you probably isn't true. We were told that the rent includes all utility bills, the houses don't use gas so just electric, however further down the line as we were about to sign up after the ridiculous vetting process was battled we were told "oh no it's only certain properties that include bills" guess what the one we viewed apparently didn't include bills despite the agent telling up on viewing that it did. But its OK because if you want the same house (just called something different) then you have that for an extra £360 a month but no bills 😂
They also told us the Company want people in within 6 weeks even if you have to give a month's notice on your current property and the bit about "a, weeks rent as deposit" you guessed it that's only on "certain properties" but you have to guess which ones as the website won't tell you. Also they don't call you back if you leave messages for them and everytime you call you are in a, queue for 5 minutes.
All in all a really bad experience and people need to be warned that despite and all singing all dancing offer the reality when you get into it is VERY different.
Safe to say I have cancelled my application. They basically want £2400 a month minimum for the "zero bills" option or £1900 if you pay your bills, now I don't anyone who uses £500 a month on electric, especially in a "environmental" new home.
Be careful all is not what it seems

FAKE BIDDING

Allsops partake in 'Chandelier' (Off the wall) bidding. This means that they themselves ENTER FAKE BIDS to push up bids!

This may (or may not) be legal, but whatever, is seriously wrong.

STAFF LYING TO ME TWICE!!!!!

I ask twice for viewing the flat I want rent. They all said they will give me a virtual viewing that day, but they never show up. Very unprofessional service. Staff full with lies.

Most incompetent group of people

Most incompetent group of property managers and lettings coordinators. They take weeks, if not months to respond to emails and clearly do not speak to each other as they give conflicting information. It takes at least 2 months for them to send over documents and agreements and they are often on holiday. It’s extremely frustrating dealing with them and i cannot reiterate how much you should avoid this group. Glad to no longer have to deal with them again.

Spend your whole wage check for rent

Avoid at all cost!!! They overcharge for rent, don’t answer when needing to contact them. The houses inside have cracks on the walls, ceilings and skirting boards, and have holes. If you want to spend your whole wage check on a house to live go ahead.

Lovely lady on the phone

I spoke to Alicia in the maintenance department and she couldn't have been more helpful, I was calling about a larger business issue not related to property repair but she offered to help, was very understanding and said to call back if I got no joy and she would ask around for me. I'm not a tenant but this lady went above and beyond.
