Our primary aim at 'All Things Active' is to deliver learning programmes that complement the academic work in alternate provision as well as mainstream schooling. We specialise in providing programmes for young people who experience difficulties within mainstream academic formats that are practical, useful and which can lead to qualifications that are nationally recognised, assisting students in securing future employment. We believe that every young person, irrespective of their current situation or level of ability, can make and sustain substantial progress.

The nature of the course was fantastic, course instructors were supportive and very informative. We are very pleased to have had the opportunity working with the team and I know the partnering school were hugely appreciative of the experience provided for the students. Took a student along for a three session bike building project. The set up is fantastic and the instructor, (Jade) was so patient and calm, taking time to really make sure my student knew what he needed to do and why.

Velo Project at St Joseph's Specialist Trust
Our nine special needs students ended the course very proud of all they had achieved and were thrilled to take their bikes home and get cycling. The sturdy stabilisers made a huge difference to those who required them.
Matt Drewrey, out trainer, was outstanding. He was patient with our students, adjusted his language so it was simple and concise and allowed students processing time. His demonstrations were clear and always informed all on health and safety points. The staff gained a lot from this course too.
We now have 9 keen riders with a growing knowledge of bike maintenance.

Our first project with All Things Active and it was an overwhelming success, engaged students who were finding school attendance difficult but throughout this project they were all a credit to themselves and did a great job building their own bikes, we look forward to our next project next year
