Tried to use this in the Peak District, lots of the routes didn't exist, trig points that don't exist and very little detail. Best avoided use OS if you can, lots more detail and much clearer.

Same as others. Looked at this app. Tried to check out free offer but got charged immediately. Tried immediately to retrieve the payment they took still trying. Criminal. Give me my money back.

Alltrails will rip you off. I did not use the app for over a year and without notice they charged me 35.99. They will not give you a phone number to contact them to resolve the issue. They are cowards and just want to steal your money. Don't do business with them.

Tried all trails last September and it did good but ran into a problem where downloading a map wouldn't save in my maps. Had a previous issue with email address but quickly resolved. This time trying to get help with downloading maps into my maps, just told to log in and out and reinstall the app. Nothing then from all trails in trying to resolve my issue, have emailed them several times now and no reply. Not happy with their treatment of a paying customer, probably go else where since useless.

Absolutely useless! The search function doesnt work at all. Whatever place name you type in, the search results show some crappy places in your proximity and not the country and places you are interested in.

Had some issues with my subscription, but Lee has been absolutely fantastic in helping me to find a solution. Fantastic customer service. Thanks again. Russ

Seen they took £36 out for an annual subscription. They also took one last year without me noticing. I have never signed up for an annual subscription, or used this app for going on 4 years. It's not even in my subscriptions on play store which is the only place I could have done it as I don't own a desktop or laptop. It says "if it's not in your play store subscriptions you must have done it on all trails.com Via desktop or laptop." Funny that considering that I've never owned one. Hope they do the right thing and refund me my money from today. I don't care about previous years as that's already p*ssed away in the wind. Not even Amazon do this trick anymore.

I wish I could give alltrails customer service no stars but that's not an option. I had been an alltrails pro member for years. My app worked well up until 3 weeks ago. My downloaded maps would disappear. I would download them again and when I would try to activate them I would get a map of my neighborhood. I couldn't use my existing maps and I couldn't download new ones. Their customer service must be full of high school dropouts because I explained several times with screenshots what the problem was but they kept saying uninstall and reinstall the app. Their technical advice did not help and they did not seem to care.

Need to add feature where you can edit your trail. Twice now it has finished our walk prematurely. Which then shows we haven’t completed said walk which is very annoying as we like to tick each walk off upon completion. Simple as making a feature to carry on after accidental finish

I am having problems logging in. I click forgot password and it sends me an email with a link to reset password. But then it just goes straight to the app and when I try to log in, of course I can't as it's not letting me create a new password. Going round in circles! Quite ironic really...I could do with a solution though.

Have used AllTrails for years and very happy with it but a 75% uplift in subscription fees for 2024? Forget it! Totally unjustified.

Another example of “free” apps not being free. “Sign up for your free account” actually means, give us your contact details and get 7 days free before being charged. The app may well deliver, however I switched off at “free” isn’t free!

the app turned out not to be suitable for where we use it when we are on the road with the camper, we want to walk routes from our place, that is often not possible, you first have to go to the starting point and for us that is usually walking with the dog too far. So it is not suitable for what we want to use it for. Now, due to poor network connections, we were unable to cancel within the specified 8 days, but only on the ninth day, while in the Netherlands there is a legal option to cancel within 14 days, and we have provided an explanation, so we will not get any money back. very disappointing for us so a 1.

I loved this app for years, sadly the price hike and the increase of battery use on phone when navigating has sadly stopped me using. Too many fancy features I didn't need, I loved the simple form which attracted me to app originally.

Terrible app glad I found out before it was to late. Thought I would sign for the pro version. Firstly the app would not recognise my password then when I clicked on the reset password button in the email they sent it forwarded me to some trail in the USA. Glad I found out how useless this is before parting with money.

Looks good, several things to improve though, among them separating the stats of a trekking from the car trip to get there, did not find where to do that so my stats were useless, km, speed, etc... May give it another try when they fix it! I uninstalled the app but forgot to cancel the trial period and was charged without warning (I understood a reminder was supposed to be sent before the end of the trial, which did not happen). Contacted them via their Facebook page and Got the refund quite easily. Thanks!

This is the worst app ever!
You literally need to have your phone in your hands for it to guide you and know where you are. So convenient. Try putting phone in your pocket for 5 mins. You will suddenly be 3km elsewhere! MAGIC! Huge troubles with GPS. Even though I don't have this problem in any other aspect of my phone. So annoying, useless. Would be great if app showed colors of trails. Also the descent that we were guided to were all closed.

Not impressed by the fact it's so easy to inadvertently sign up, and then impossible to unsubscribe from their spam. I thought it was illegal not to have an unsubscribe button.
