I needed an emergency plumber for a leaking wash hand basin and these were high on the search. I asked what the call out fee was and was told £40 plus materials which I though was ok. There response was quick but instead of replacing a broken plastic pipe They wrapped the existing one in silicone and charged £75 when a new trap and pipe would cost less than £40. They also added on a £250 call out fee!! absolute bunch of criminals DO NOT USE!!!!

DO NOT USE. Like all the other reviewers i was ripped off in very similar circumstances.
As one reviewer put it ‘she wished she’d had checked out the reviews before committing’.
Unfortunately i also wished i’d had done that.
That’s all i need to say.

The only good side is a sub contract plumber came out. Lovely person. Very pleasant fixed leak……..but on top of £79 call out charge already paid at the time of the call….. he was told to charge £850 for the work. I’m a builder but could not get home as I was in London. Home is Nottingham. I phoned him afterwards and he confirmed with me that the parts were less than £30 and his total bill including labour was £250. Still pricy but sorted the problem. He then was tod by the company (Alpha Emergency. Not as advertised on the net) to transfer the extra £600 to the company….
The company just take advantage when you are in need.

They exploit people had an emergency call out 60 pds call out charge then got a bill for 640pds didn’t do anything only ran the hot water taps off to cool the water tanks as they were boiling the property was like walking in to a sauna but they haven’t stopped the problem total rip off steer clear wish I had read the reviews I would not have used them

I wish I had thought to read the reviews beforehand as this seems to be the experience of a lot of people. I phoned Alpha emergencies as had no heating or hot water and have an elderly parent living in the home. On the phone they only mentioned to me the £60 call out fee. The plumber arrived really quickly and had the boiler working in about 20 minutes. Somehow the final bill was £372!!!! Apparently the labour (for 20 minutes work) was £250. I phoned the office who insisted I pay the bill before I was able to raise a complaint. The complaint e-mail address is just a generic e-mail. This company is DODGY! DO NOT USE!

Wish I had read the review before calling these PIGS, obviously in an emergency you don’t think! Charged me £220 if I paid in cash or it was £269 if I was to pay by card bcos of VAT ! Liars!!! Just to come out and look at my bath and to screw a plastic tube on under my sink! I’m so upset and angry, if I was a man I probably would have punched him in the face ! AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!

Shame on you scam company pretending to be in west London with a fake webside that doesn't even has any address or anything but you will get arrested now or later with your personal car and fake website and email and personal bank you let peaple paying to..you are reported to the traders standard and they said you are reported allready several times and under serious investigation. Everyone please be aware don't pay this rude scam company hight amounts by self transfering to there personal bank account avoid them at all they are fake and rude and you will be extremely overcharged. Anyone had been scammed as well by this company please report there website on Google i got this as 1 of the steps from the traders standards office. You can report and leave feedback a specially if you have pictures as proof you can add them and send the feedback to google i think if we all do that they will definitely put there website under investigation and close it and they won't be able to continue scamming peaple. They note on website experience since 40 years loool pure scammers the website is open since march 2023 and they are nothing more then young cowboys.

We have been charged with £582 just to fix the toilet the job is done so extremely bad, i contacted today i got an extremely rude man saing to me shut up and listen! Saying am a woman and should be nice and if i don't stop calling he wil contact the police for harassment!!!!! When i said i will contact the bank to get the money back he started to laugh saying i made the transfer my self so won't get anything! Please be aware of this rude poor scammers.

Awful, the plumber come with in the hour, looked at the job refused to do it and wanted £40. They then rang me back and threatened me with bailiffs coming to my door. Would never recommend and would never ring them for a job again

Same as everyone else, essentially a scam. Had to pay on the spot before they would leave, need an invoice/report to send to my landlord to be reimbursed. They’re not sending the invoice I imagine because they know they’ve overcharged massively. Avoid like the plague

The same situation as other customers. We were very upset & stressed had a burst pipe in bathroom. We called them out & was charged £60 call out then when arrived looked at the job & was told it was going to be £400 pounds which we don’t have, but what could we do in the circumstances. I would never use, because ripping off decent hard working people is the lowest of the low, especially in circumstances like this. Very upset & stressed atm. Will be reporting to the ombudsman.

ABOSOLUTE CON... DO NOT USE!!! Spoke to the operator on the phone explained the issue of the boiler leaking from the inside. Turned up within an hour but told within a minute they can't fixed anything inside the boiler (obviously not Gas safe trained and unable to fix boilers). The bloke would then not leave the house until I paid a £50 call out charge which I had to send to a personal account!!!

Called these. PLUMBERS out, £40 call out charge. My washing machine was leaking?
He arrived 1 hour later. It was the pipes at the back.
He cleared them, with in 10 minutes and it was done.
He charged me £261 plus the call out £312. Do not call these people, it is a scam. Anne.

Same as all previous....they take the call out fee and then arrive three hours later....said toilet needs a new valve and it would cost £75 + labour of £130 per hour...I could buy a new toilet for that...sent them away and are now trying a section 75 to get my £60 back...they are very bad people
