Totally inflexible when I asked to change my flight (and transfer) for an urgent family matter. Impersonal customer service that doesn’t care about local and loyal customers living in the Alps!

Excellent customer service by Duane - last minute booking!
I am copy pasting from my Google review:
I just got off the phone with Duane and I must say that the service provided has been the best I've had for customer support in a long time. Not only the booking of the transfers was quick and easy, it was also for a very last minute booking. Special mention at explaining the whole process of how the pick up works and where to attend the pickup, all over the phone and with detail, when other companies just outright direct you to their "information links" that are like mazes to navigate.
Thanks so much Duane for making this trip so much better right from the beginning!
Transfer didn’t collect us on the way…
Transfer didn’t collect us on the way to airport!!!!!!
Chaotic and useless - avoid
I’ve used many, many different companies for transfers from Geneva over the years, and Alpy Bus is, by a very large margin, the worst I’ve had the misfortune to use. iIm currently sat at Geneva airport, where I have been for over 90 minutes, and there’s still no sign of my transfer, or any indication of when it might come.
The area around their desk is chaos, everything is late, and they’re just blaming ‘Saturday traffic’ as if it had hit them out of the blue.
They had the nerve to charge a friend of mine €10 because his flight was late, but haven’t offered any of their customers an equivalent refund for their own lateness.
I’m seriously considering binning out and staying in Geneva tonight, then taking a decent transfer tomorrow.
Never again.
It would have been much better if it…
It would have been much better if it were not for the driver on the way home. On the way to Megeve the driver could not have been nicer - he drove carefully and he was polite, they also waited for us as we were delayed by the staff in Geneva airport. On the way back we were told to wait outside the chalet. All the other guests who used Alpybus were picked up from outside the door. This Greek driver rang us and demanded to know where we were - he was at the bottom of the road. We made our way there and as we were coming towards him he drove off! My partner tried to ring him and we then saw him returning. He was impatient, grumpy and rude. He threw our suitcases on the bus, told us he was not happy going up the slope and shouted at us. He then drove all over the road cutting corners and making all the sensors on the vehicle keep beeping. On reaching Geneva he almost forced people to fill in his questionnaire demanding a five star review. Another lady on the bus said she would never travel with you again. He really needs some training in customer liaison. I am sure you can check your drivers to find out who it is. Having had such an understanding reply I have now increased my rating and hope that next time we will have nice careful drivers both ways!

Extortionate charge for delayed flight
I booked a private transfer with Alpybus from Geneva to Morzine. Our outbound flight was delayed by 3 hours, and despite providing our flight number during booking (which Alpybus uses to set the pickup time), we were charged an additional €270 to keep our transfer. The staff on the ground showed no empathy whatsoever.
Monitoring and adapting to flight delays should be standard practice for any transfer company. If you’re booking with Alpybus, be warned: flight delays could end up costing you a fortune.
No refund yet to no show to take families to…
No show to take three families to Geneva airport, none related. No call to any of us. The phone number ‘not recognised’ We all had to pay another company after waiting over two hours. E.mails no reply just left stranded. We would like a tefund Mr and Mrs Stephen Marshall.
Charging
In coming home I discovered a double charge in my account from Apkyb7s with them claiming I had double booked the same transfer!!!
I asked them to send me the 2 confirmation emails as I was 100% sure this was not the case.
Completely ignored this and told me I was not due a refund.
I re checked all correspondence with the and I did not ever receive 2 emails confirmations, only for the original booking, which was correct and I was not disputing.
There complete lack of acknowledgement, blatant ignoring of basic customer service was shocking.
Be very wary when booking. Double charges....your fault according to them with no checks!!!
Disgraceful.
Misleading Refund Protection
The page for AlpyPlus clearly states “full refund if your plans change”.
The company are refusing the refund and offering a voucher for 50%, referencing small print hidden in their Ts&Cs despite the very prominent claim of full refund (implies cash).
Don't book with them
Pay a bit extra and book another company! Really bad customer service. They were very quick to reply via text at first. When I found out the time of our transfer was wrong and that they didn't have an appropriate time for a transfer from Geneva to Chamonix. They just told me your ticket is an Express ticket which means no changes can be made. I then looked into the T&C's and our ticket clearly said it's a standard ticket, which meant a rescue fee could be purchased and I was repeatedly told the same policy "That no changes can be made" There was no customer service or care. I sent them our ticket and stated their T&C's and funnily enough I then heard nothing back after quoting their own T&C's at them. Just terrible!
Beware of Alpybus Terms & Conditions
Beware of Alpybus Terms & conditions, they even ignored their own T&Cs which ment us rebooking with someone else and losing our money. Customer service is terrible. Travelling is always stressful to some degree, you don't need the added stress with them.
Don’t let bad reviews put you off- I had a great experience
I was slightly apprehensive as I had seen quite a few bad reviews of this company, however, I was wrong to feel this way, as the whole process was very smooth and, I am glad that I didn’t let the bad reviews put me off, as my experience is an example of a great experience with this transfer company!
We went from Geneva airport to Morzine.
Everything was made very clear to me, I was sent communications via email & text about the timings of the outbound journey and the return journey to the airport :)
This helped to reassure me!
I was given clear directions of where to find the transfer desk when arriving at the airport and what time I needed to be there for.
Once there, there were no delays or complications!
I would recommend this transfer company and urge you to not let bad reviews put you off! :))

Worst experience
No customer support. No on ground support. No ticket refund. The bus never showed up and we waited at Geneva airport for 3 hours. Bogus company.
No refund
Not even partial refund for a bus trip, cancelled more than 3 months before the trip, no voucher, nothing
Disorganised disaster
Disorganised disaster.
Delightful pickup at airport and transport to resort (after having to prove to driver had door-to-door drop off so no internal communication).
Return transfer was initially delayed and ultimately cancelled.
Two separate members staff at the time confirmed *in writing* a taxi transfer back to airport would be covered.
This cancellation was in January,
the ‘feedback’ team have come back to me in August saying it’s not covered anymore and could offer 10% discount on next trip.
Unbelievably frustrating and comical state of affairs internally.
You call the numbers online and they can’t transfer you to the team dealing with refunds.
The refunds team didn’t respond for months bc the team left (shock, horror with how you treat customers how must they treat staff).
Alpybus Geneva airport to Les Houches
Alpybus Geneva airport to Les Houches. Easy to book, easy to find, great airport to hotel transfer there and back. Tom the driver from Les Houches to Geneva was especially good. Good driver, courteous and efficient. Only criticism would be the bus from Geneva on 24 Aug was a little cramped but otherwise good.
SCAM ALERT! SCAM ALERT!
Do not fall into this hellpit of a scam.
My experience with alpybus.com was the most horrible and traumatic I've ever, ever had. No negative review can possibly express how terrible it is to deal with these crazies.
Once you've paid upfront, you'll be introduced to their ruthless system full of huge hidden fees. Object to these fees, and you’ll find yourself having to forfeit the entire booking.
Everything they promise is a scam. Their website is a scam. They are lying bullies who take your money and then, once you cotton on to how you've being manipulated to pay more and more, keep you in a legal chokehold by claiming your agreement to their diabolical terms and conditions grants them total immunity from accountability, no matter how badly they behave.
Dealing with them was a nightmare I hope to forget. We were treated horribly, shouted at when we dared to become upset about their scamming methods (!), and lost a huge amount of money without even setting foot onto a transfer bus. To add insult to injury, we had to scramble to book a last-minute private transfer, costing us even more.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY AND SANITY.
Edit: In response to the company's comments below:
1. What "overall 4.8 reviews" are they talking about? The reviews on this account - which are the the real reviews - are scathing!
2. Whether the two companies are legitimate or not, the use of two websites is VERY deliberate. It's how they are able to mislead customers.
3. Having so-called "good" reviews on one site and an overwhelming number of terrible reviews on another should set alarm bells in anyone's head: this is precisely why they operate under two sites. If you read the "good" reviews closely, you'll easily be able to see how meaningless they are - they all sound alike and are about the same invented "Paulo" driver. It should strike anyone as odd.
4. Importantly, the people complaining about the bad service they got all booked through the company itself.
5. Even if someone had booked through a third party, it does not excuse the company itself behaving abusively to customers and refusing to provide paid-for services.
6. The terms and conditions are NOT STATED CLEARLY UPFRONT. And of course not; they are diabolical.

Didn't turn up at the bus station and…
Didn't turn up at the bus station and left a lot of people stranded. Luckily a friend was able to take me to the airport. They just keep putting me off when I ask them to pay compensation. Apparently they do this a lot.
Avoid.
Les gets
I was met by Paulo at the airport and he is polite and helpful. The bus was very comfortable and the sweets and water he provided were very welcome.
Driver didn’t turn up and refuse to refund
Went to the meeting point at the time I was instructed and no one was there. Waited, then checked the coach park to see if I’d misunderstood the instructions. Still no sign. Texted the number only to receive a text an hour later to say I’d missed the bus. Couldn’t get through on the phone as it was just a dead end that hangs up after several options and so messaged again. After several messages they repeatedly refused to refund or accept responsibility for their error. Rebooked with Flixbus who were flawless. Use them instead.

This is the worst carriage I have ever dealt with!!!
I was treated very badly by them, every time I am dismissed and they do not provide me with any help, they only send automatic messages to my e-mail all the time. I'm still waiting for my refund without any results. I don't understand how you can treat your customers this way.
Two weeks ago I had problems while booking my tickets on their website, the ride did not take place and I was charged 150 euros.
I do not recommend it and please be careful!!
