At last they fixed my problem they seem 100 after all

I opened an account and submitted my FICA documents, then proceeded to make deposit of R3,783 but was credited only R3,764.08.
After making the deposit, they refused to verify my account nor let me get my money off their platform. I see other reviews on AppStore too saying it's a scam.
The customer support is non existent and only replies with generic responses.
My account was also logged in by an unknown individual even when I have 2FA enabled, and this makes me think it not secured.
I don't recommend this for anyone.

My account is now verified and withdrawal is now enabled.
They don't seem to be scam as I thought earlier but customer support quality is very poor and sluggish.

Fees are 90 percent of your cash, I was swindled

I have been in this industry for close to 8 years. Been using International companies mostly. It has been over three weeks just to FICA my account, three weeks, just to look at valid documents and a photo with me holding the ID and words and here I am sending email after email just to FICA. Imagine If I had a withdrawal problem, I will have to wait months to get it sorted, just going back to an International Platform.

Never even heard of AltCoinTrader until I started receiving newsletter emails which say that I have an active account. Since I never even made an account, I don't even know how to log in or to get rid of my supposed existing account. I emailed their support and never received a response.

This is far the best site I have used I highly recommend it. I have ha my friends use this site none of them has ever complained.

I wouldn't recommend AltCoinTrader to any of my friends and relatives, reason being they got poor support services, for real people don't lose your money to them FICA Documents this and that, in the end you can NOT withdraw your money to card NOR transfer to another Crypto Exchange. then boom my money went missing when I transferred from AltCoinTrader to Binance even though I used the same crypto Network and rechecked my deposit Address 3 times.

That's unprofessional... tbh.

Update: Eventually received my funds. But will definitely not be using this exchange in the future. Original review: I think that they may be going insolvent. I may be wrong but A lot of the small exchanges are , that are comparible to the bigger exchanges like Binance are secretly insolvent. I say this , because they will gladly accept your crypto, but after the exchange you may struggle to get it from the platform, because of verification issues, with regards to your account. Im struggling now for two weeks to withdraw a measly R1800 from this platform, with very little communication from them. I tried to withdraw a smaller amount ,R100 but the platform will not allow me. I resubmitted my Id, proof of residence and whatever else was requested , but still waiting for the second week, going on for the third week. With Binance or any other exchange, this will be almost instant, or at least , same day. This crappy exchange reminds me of Ice3 exchange , which went up in smoke about two years ago.

I AM VERY UNHAPPY WITH A LADY SEL NUMBER 0677416901 FRAUDED ME WITH R5000 THAT I PAID IN ALTCOIN TRADERS ACCOUNT SE WAS SUPPOSED TO PAY ME R35000 PROFIT SHE JUST DISSAPEARED SE SEND ME WATCHAPP MESSAGES TO PAY MORE MONEY.SHE IS A VERY BIG SCAMMER.you can call me on 0787828975.

Altcoin Trader is simple to use and is cheaper in fees. This platform is good and you can talk to support directly and get assistance. I didn't get problems with them since 2015.

Losing trust with this platform . especially they not helpful they arrogant

A USDT confirmed transaction is still after 24 hours not deposited in my account. Support informed me today that they had issues yesterday and today with USDT deposits. It would be compliant to protect the consumer and to have the consumers best interest at heart by placing a warning on the website and on the site where the USDT Wallet address is reflecting.
Additionally, it is not very reassuring if supports promises that an email will be rendered and no communication has yet reached me.

I have been using them for almost 5 years in the beginning there were some issues with payments over weekends which was pretty frustrating however over all they have still been the best exchange I have used

They offer limited coins about only Twenty Well established coins and still adding to their list

New clients might get frustrated with security issues however this is a good thing but over all its a good exchange that you can Call & speak to a Human being not some ridiculous Robot online nonsense, Oh yes they are transparent,they Dont hide their Identity like some scam Exchanges

Trust they continue with building a great platform

AltcoinTrader is good platform for one to invest in, it's user friendly. But the only problem is with SGB token because they take long time to process SGB token withdrawals. This is the only problem I'm experiencing with SGB withdrawals otherwise other crypto's withdrawals are working properly. But I'm satisfied with their service

I have been on the platform for awhile and only put money in to trade. Very sluggish response to buying times and always missed the buy, very frustrating.I live in the states and am used to real time platforms. However due to death in the family I urgently needed to cash out. They only allowed me R1000 in total and every response is an automated email. I have submitted all requested documents and yet more automated emails. I have tried to call and I get a number is not in service. Is this a scam company ???

The worst service ever, they say withdrawals take 72hrs which is not true. Payment will be made unless you nag their customers service. It's been two weeks since I've withdrawn money which bounces back to my Acc resulting to loss of money should the market go down. Scam!

I have been with Altcointrader since 2017 and have had excellent results. All my withdrawals and deposits have been successful. Keep up the good work. Very trustworthy exchange. I would recommend it to my friends and family

Hi i recently invested money to altcoin trader and I've invested more then I intended to because I was told the market is too high so I must invest more but nothing has been done...I haven't recieved money back and now I'm being avoided by one of your employees

You're wasting your money just trading coins on their platform. On their website it says "0.75% of trade value" but when you actually do the trade it's 4 to 5 times that percentage. When you contact them through email they dont reply so don't bother. Poor customer service and false information.
