Every stage was explained to me and help is always available

With lots going on I really needed this process to be fast and it was. Everyone is super nice and eager to help you find your way through the process.

From the beginning, everything is set out clearly and they do all the work necessary (for me that included them speaking to my gp to get paperwork faster).

The actually ordering process is a breeze and I finally feel in control of insomnia.

Amazing company so helpful

This particular week has been very challenging and trying, and stressful re Alternaleaf.
I have previously rated them 5 stars.
However, I put in a request on Monday, stating that the pharmacy Montu, would need to receive the prescription by 3:30pm on Friday, to do a Saturday delivery by 1pm: my adult son was going away for a week.
I emailed and phoned Monday. I received a response that some of the products were unavailable, so we changed the prescription to what was available on Montu Pharmacy ( and within the parameters of his prescription). We also wrote that we needed the prescription by Saturday.
Again,
Some products were unavailable, so we chose different products from Montu Pharmacy website.
AGAIN, ie 3rd time, we were told some products were unavailable.
At this point, we were getting desperate. I phoned Alternaleaf, and wrote emails explaining the deadline
Again, we submitted products from the Montu Pharmacy site. I was told Alternaleaf was waiting for clinicians to approve the prescription. AGAIN, Alternaleaf said some products were unavailable. I asked them ‘just give me anything, duplicate what IS available. Finally, 3 minutes to deadline, on Friday, 13.57, I spoke to a clinician who advised what was available, and we ordered these products…but they said they could not guarantee delivery. They said that Alternaleaf can take 5 days to process the prescription: we were not given this info before.

Anyway, after many phone calls & emails, I picked up the products from our lovely Post lady (Royal Mail, registered post) on Saturday morning, & my son had his vital medication.

The prescription is slowly changing my adult son’s life, positively, he is sleeping somewhat better, has a degree of decreased pain and nausea, for which we are incredibly grateful!

In the past, the process has worked well.
But not this time. I give 3 🌟 because at least, after many phone calls and emails, and being incredibly pro active, he had the medication on time.

I was nervous to take the call, as I knew I would be talking about my mental health which often severely upsets me.
I spoke to a lady named Sam, she was extremely understanding and empathetic. She really did put my mind to ease within a few minutes of talking, I felt like I could completely open up to Sam. She was extremely knowledgeable on processes and how Alternaleaf could assist. She is truly a credit to the team! I would highly recommend due to my experience with Sam!

The service from alternaleaf and monutu where great, all except they use the most useless delivery company in the world to fulfill orders, namely the royal mail. My order was shipped as expected, on a "guaranteed" before 1 delivery by royal mail, wh then promptly sent the package to the wrong sorting office, and so didn't deliver it on the day expected at all. And what makes my blood boil about this, is royal mail won't even give a postage refund unless the package is more than 24 hours late. So what's the point in guaranteeing delivery next day before 1, when what they really mean is we'll deliver it sometime in the next day or so, and there's nothing you can do about it.
