- Nach einer Woche sowie 4 maliger Anfrage (Mahnung) kommt Antwort, die ganze Reklamationsprozedur soll neu, an eine andere e-mail adresse gestartet werden
- 1x Altra Running = nie mehr Altra Running für mich.

I have sent email query's from their site which say they have expert guides to offer the best advice on sizing i’ve been waiting over 3 weeks for a response and I have a limited time window to make an order.
disgraceful customer service so disappointing.

I bought a pair of Altra Torin 5s. After only eight months and less then 300km they have started to fall apart.

The sole is coming away from the cushioning, as is the fabric.

I contacted Altra and they made me email the same information five times, while being incredibly rude and dismissive.

Despite their website saying they have an EU two year guarantee, they have refused to replace them and have only offered 50% another pair. This is unacceptable.

Do not buy, they have some slick advertising, and paid reviews, but they are very poor quality and have awful customer service.

Honestly, why are women's shoes in various shades of pink and reds, cant there at least be neutral colors for BOTH genders.

Also the website UX of the site is clunky, links keep relinking itself to the homepage instead of the dedicated pages.

Ordered myself a pair of Altra Torin 6 Man US 9 on altrarunning.eu. Received Timp 4 lady US 6 (please look for earlier reviews, it happened to others before). In the beginning they are very helpful for returning the incorrect items. When you ask for background information, there is no reasonable reply. Please be careful. It seems this site and logistics has no direct connection with Altra.

This place has the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED!! i returned a pair of shoes and they tell me it will be 3-4 weeks before they can give me a refund. I paid with Klarna so now I have to make my first payment with Klarna on a pair of shoes that I don’t even have because they refuse to refund me. I literally tried the shoes on and they were too big, so I mailed them back the next day!!!

I am a health practioner and I am always on the look out to recommend shoes, ALTRA is one of my second one I recommend, only for people that have foot injury/pathology. Altra could be one of the best/perfect shoes if it wasn't for the In-BUILT ARCH SUPPORT on top of the innersoles. Please consider manufacturing without arch support at least people have an option. I myself Have them and I feel like I walk knees out but the shoes themself are very comfortable and has the perfect toe box for the toes to spread!!! I could give 5 starts but I need to be heard, most shoes have those arch supports which messess up the posture and makes you unbalance (try breathing in and out with and without shoes).

I purchased the MEN'S TIMP 4 and ran in them less than 40 miles when the tread became detached from the sole. Within the Altra Warranty/Return time frame I requested a return label and no one from Altra replied. Was eventually able to connect to Altra Customer Service via Chat where a return label was provided. (Additionally, I requested a copy of the Chat session but was told that they don't have the ability to do that.) Sent package back to Altra via the FedEx label Altra provided. Package has not been delivered and FedEx told me that it is now lost even though the Tracking info, reads as "Pending". Contacted Altra and they can't or won't do anything about the situation until 3 weeks as lapsed, (it has been 2+ weeks at the time of this Review). While I understand that all manufacturing will have some faulty products, Altra has certainly not given me any good reason to ever purchase their products again nor recommend them to anyone else.

Altra olympus 4 trail running shoes have split along the side wall on the inner after less than 4 months, the material seems brittle compared to my Altra lone peak shoes which are older but intact with more milage!

Worst shoe I ever had, the sloe of the shoe just fell off. Hardly used them at all.

After a lengthy ordering and delivery process and what has felt like 30 emails back and forth with Margherita in particular my Altra Lone Peak 5 shoes have finally arrived.

HOWEVER...

Unfortunately as expected with this whole process so far there are issues with the shoes.... underneath both insoles the shoes have been stitched very badly and are taped down. This will inevitably end up ripping when I wear the shoes and therefore the shoes are not fit for purpose.

My partner has the exact same lone peak 5's bought from a reseller in this same timeframe and does not have this defect on either of her shoes.... oh and she received them two weeks faster than me to the same address!!!

I am waiting for a response from Altra EU but fear as usual they will fob me off with terrible excuses and won't compensate me.

Please don't order direct from the Altra EU website, order from a reseller and avoid having to deal with the customer service :-( very very disappointing.

Altra messed up customs details on a recent order and now FedEx debt collectors are after me.

The customer service team either ignore emails or say they'll give you an update and don't.

Plus, the shoes broke well within the 200 mile guarantee. Lovely shoes though

Please do NOT buy from any altrarunning 'official' webste. altrarunning.com altrarunning.eu and others. They send me completely wrong shoes (woman small size, different model) and do not respond to email. Reviews to their website are not published if they contain complaints. By telephone you get informed your issue or questions regarding returns or refunds are forwarded to the backoffice. They can give no name other then generic 'customer service' names. It all feels like a big SCAM. Beware!!!! 150,- euro lost.

Best shoes ever and worst customer care ever. Never seen such pair (jin and jan).
Recomend to buy from resellers and never buy directly if you still love Altra shoes.
Can't imagine how such a company can expect good sales with such customer service (drop dead).

Awful experience. They don't reply to emails and they messed up a return of a pair of shoes. UK customers beware that if you have to return anything, you would then have to pay shipping to Italy and possibly custom charges and duties due to poor information provided by Altra Running.

I wish Altra could fix their ever increasing lust for profit over quality and pathetic, sub standard, may as well be call customer disservice customer service. Its absolutely rubbish and they need to get customer service training which for them and their product team will take years to pass.
Unfortunately I had to give Altra 1 star, there isn't any way I can give them no stars.

Manufacturers are continually looking to reduce costs and increase profits. one example is ALtra Olympus first made in one country in Asia now its in another. How do I know this, well if you buy a pair of blue/black Olympus 4, vs the turquoise and yellow Olympus 4 they are slightly different sizes, the ankle support is different, and one compared to the other is significantly different all because they want to increase profits over quality.

Now the customer service, I have been in a year long query cycle over a problem with the shoes breaking along the seams where one type of material is bonded to another, it creates a weakness along the join. I obviously raised the issue. After stalling for months, telling me they didn't understand what I was asking, and not answering mails or phone calls, they return my warranty claim with "it wear and tear by the photos" without any justification, without reviewing the trainers, without actually performing any analysis at all. This is after sending me a 50percent discount on a pair of shoes without answering any questions, which seems like more of a tactic to get rid of the issue rather than do any real work to fix a problem, which I might add by the sounds of it isn't just my problem, the shoes are in fact subject to poor material degradation as per public opinion.

Terrible experience. The team would not send me a returns code so I ended up with a pair of shoes I can't wear for £140. Surely that is illegal! I'm so shocked at how awful the customer service is.

I love the shoes but I absolutely have big trouble with the Altra EU costumer service. 2 months ago I ordered 2 pairs and returned one, but I still don't have my money back. I emailed and called (9 times!) and every time the answer is: "if your returned items go through the quality control you get your refund in 14 days". The package is obviously lost, but there is no help or onderstanding whatsoever. No one that mails me back with anything other than a standard answer. By now I'm at peace with the fact that I paid €300 for a single pair of Altra's. Wish I look this up before I ordered 2 pairs. Will never buy here again. Worthless company.

Shocking and disgraceful customer service. Pair of trainers, never worn, returned to the company in Italy at my expense (October 2021). They, according to the Altra, were held up in customs. After tracking for several weeks, customs attempted a delivery whereby the receiver was not in - mmm sounds like somebody's home, not a business. After contacting them directly with a screenshot of the attempted delivery notification, I received a pathetic email stating that customs has not been in contact. I am not unable to seek a refund for the £150 shoes, plus the cost of return shipping.

I will never do business with this company again. 1* is far too much of a compliment. I regret not reading the reviews on this platform, as it would appear that others have had similar experiences.

These shoes although comfortable wear out within a few months of wearing. Save you money.
