## Ticket 497566 ## Do not choose Amasty extensions if your users use the Kaspersky firewall (a web extension used by millions of people worldwide). You will get errors in the logs, and Amasty refuses to fix them, claiming it’s not part of their responsibilities. Unfortunately, they are also very superficial when it comes to problem-solving, even though I pay for their monthly support service. No help at all. I have many problems with their extensions and I need to ask for an external developer to solve them.

This particular issue is not conflict-related and is related to the third-party extension. Therefore, debugging and fixing this requires intervention from the provider, and it is recommended that you contact Kaspersky directly for further assistance with their product.

We regret that these issues could not be fully resolved despite our efforts, and we sincerely thank you for your cooperation in the investigation.

A pleasure to work with

I reported a "minor issue" that they initially stated wasn't on their radar to address at this time. But then a day later they provided a patch and asked for my feedback and asked for me to test their solution. They were very cooperative when I found another outlier/bug and they provided a great solution for it as well. In they end they were quick and responsive and great to work with to resolve the bug for me and all of their customers making their product that much better in the long run!

Nothing works and support lacks knowledge

You order a module for 415€ and another module for 295€ and it doesn't even work. Also when you contact the support, the only thing they can ask if you have installed the newest version of their module.

They charged me $215 for an annual…

They charged me $215 for an annual renewal for a piece of software I'm no longer using and that I thought I had canceled.

When I contacted them, they told me it was non-refundable, as if they were incapable of making a mistake. I opened the ticket the SECOND I saw the renewal come through.

I opened a dispute with Paypal over this -- only the second dispute I've ever had to open with a company in over 15 years.

Ridiculous.

Update: They offered to give me store credit. No thanks. I thought I had canceled this, but it didn't go through for whatever reason. Instead of refunding, they decided to double down on the fact that it's 100% my fault and that they get to keep my money for something I'm not using.

As no attempts had been made to cancel the subscription before the renewal date, the recurring payment was billed according to the schedule on the date indicated in your Amasty account, as well as in the notification email sent to you 30 days prior to the billing date.

We are truly sorry to see that the special approach suggested by our colleague in the ticket was not suitable for you. If you would like to discuss the approach further, please get back to us in the ticket, and we will be happy to assist you in every way possible.

I’ve purchased several of their Magento…

I’ve purchased several of their Magento extensions and they are the worst. They don’t function as intended and they try to hook you into yearly renewals as a profit center. Avoid them at all costs.

Amasty know what they do

Think that Amasty is the best when it comes to Magento. Sometimes a bit complicated, and really miss a few "new" UX/UI modules that are hip and modern. Just like Shopify. But what they have is good.
