Amazon and there 3rd party seller both are untrustable

After speaking with Amazon customer service, I packed the return item and shared the images with the seller as instructed. Even after that, there has been no positive response from the seller (relax wood)regarding the shipment pickup.
I have done everything that was asked of me for returning the product, but I am still facing unnecessary problems. Both the seller and Amazon have caused me a lot of inconvenience. The seller’s return response is very poor, and it seems like they do not want to take back their product. Every time they give a different excuse — sometimes saying they will not arrange shipping, sometimes refusing packaging support, etc.
At the same time, Amazon also does not seem willing to take strict action against the seller because they do not want to damage their relationship with them. It feels like both Amazon and the seller are simply making the customer go in circles.
Even after contacting Amazon customer service so many times, my issue has still not been resolved, which is extremely disappointing. Next time, I will think twice before buying anything from Amazon because their return policy feels fake, or they trouble customers so much during the return process that the customer is forced to cancel the return request.

Received my AirPods Pro today from Amazon India — except they arrived fully opened and unpacked.

According to Amazon customer service, this is now part of their delivery process in India: brand-new products may be opened, unsealed, and inspected before being delivered to customers.

Personally, I find this completely unacceptable for premium electronics, especially when purchasing items intended as gifts or products where authenticity, hygiene, and tamper-free packaging matter.

When I order a new product, I expect to be the first person to open it — not receive it after it has already been unboxed by strangers and delivered in a brown paper bag.

If this is indeed Amazon India’s new policy, I will no longer be ordering premium electronics or gift items from them.

Terrible and worst customer support team

I had attempted to place 4 single door cupboards which had installation service attached however I could only place 2 cupboards in a day. So I placed the orders from two different amazon prime subscriptions, total 4 single door cupboards for same delivery address.

The cupboard parts were delivered on 27th May 2026 and original installation schedule date showed 29th-30th May 2026 at time of order. However, the installations kept being rescheduled without customer's consent.

On 30th May a technician came but fixed only one cupboard and refused to install the remaining 3 cupboards. Their customer service said their policy does not allow. I suggested and requested the technician who fixed one cupboard is clearly skilled to finish the job for remaining 4-cupboards too, why then create hassle to their own team and to customers too. Instead, that technician could finish the job the same day. But they refused clearly and blantly.

The wrongfully reschedules kept happening after that for all remaining 3 cupboards.

The customer service team of Amazon registered complaint only on 2nd June 2026, although the matter was raised earlier. They forcibly made me wait until 4th June citing and promising installation will be done by 4th June. But again the technician who came did only one cupboard and other promises technicians on same date did not come at all. Jobs continue to be incomplete.

Customer service keeps giving same repeated fake empathy sympathy statements and no support. The vicious cycle of them rescheduling without customer's consent, raising some fictitious ticket when customer complains and then asking customer to wait is beyond bearable and cruelty to customer's time and trust broken miserable. Their apology sorry fake empathy sympathy are add-on mockery to customer's grievances caused by them.

Amazon deteriorating !!!

Since last 10 months amazon service has gone for toss. Sellers are delaying delivery. i have been prime member for over 15 years. This last 10 months have been horrible for some products. Especially the seller Darshita Etel.
This seller has received so many negative feedback. Why is he still on this platform?

I had ordered a 1L bottle from Amazon.

As per the Amazon app the delivery was scheduled today. Since the order wasn't delivered by 9.30 pm I called Amazon and the agent informed me that the delivery person is on his way to deliver the product.

I waited but the order was no delivered until 10.15pm so I called Amazon India again and inquired about the order. The agent informed me that since it's past 10 the order is rescheduled for delivery and will be delivered on 2nd.

Since it was delayed I asked her to cancel the order from her end she informed that she couldn't do it.
I requested for a supervisor who was very unwelcoming. I asked her to cancel the order she denied saying you can return it once delivered and she disconnected the call.

Is Amazon going through recession that they are using customer money on day to day basis to sustain.

Shame on Amazon India Customer Service...

My experience with Amazon India over the past month has been extremely disappointing.

What started as isolated issues turned into a series of ongoing problems, including account-related concerns, order cancellations due to Amazon's own errors, delayed deliveries, and repeated failed attempts to obtain support.

The most frustrating part has been the customer service experience. Despite multiple follow-ups, escalations, emails, and hours spent contacting support, there has been little accountability and no meaningful resolution. Instead of feeling supported as a customer, I was left repeatedly chasing updates and explanations.

One order that was promised by a specific delivery date remains unresolved, and several interactions with support left me questioning Amazon's commitment to customer satisfaction.

I have retained all emails, chat transcripts, screenshots, and escalation records documenting these issues.

As someone who understands customer service, I appreciate that mistakes can happen. However, what matters is how a company responds when things go wrong. Unfortunately, my recent experience suggests a significant decline in both service quality and customer care.

I hope Amazon reviews this feedback seriously and takes steps to improve its escalation handling and customer support processes.

Such a bad experience, I have ordered something from Amazon and it is showing delivered although it hasn't been delivered and after reaching out to customer services for 3 times within a week they are saying we have done the investigation and nothing can be done from our end. i received the wrong product

i received the wrong product and they refused to admit that it was the wrong product despite my pictures before and after opening the packet. i received a tube of cheap lipstick instead original Oral B 10 pack brushheads. the packet contents were obviously too small to be correct. I took a picture thinking may be they sent a 2 pack or something. Turned out to be not even what i would use. I think they are running a very dodgy operation. i'm now finding out that they are doing this to many customers. stands to reason that this is a big con. i've been thru the entire gamut of escalations. no joy. so i'm reviewing them wherever i can

I am a Canadian citizen, doing up my home in India. I have been buying from Amazon and have returned any item.

We ordered Proven 11 water purifier, which as making a lot of sound, and was leaking for almost an hour after the unit is switched off. The technician, a smart man, tried to sell spare filters to us for INR 3,000/-, which the company said, costs INR 1,500/- max.
He came back to fix the problem, but the problem persists and he advised we return the unit back to Amazon.
For three days in a row from May 23, 2026 to May 25, 2026 after making 20 calls to customer service, the ruturns are not picked back. We have been asked to wait from 7 am to 10 pm, and cannot leave the house as they will call and come. I have postponed my trip to complete the returns, and get my money back.

After lodging several complaints, finally,
We were once again promised on 25th May, evening that the return will finally be taken on May 27, 2026, bank details also taken for the refund. Today May 27, 2026 23.00 hours, no one came to take the parcel back.

Is this some kind of a joke going on.? 23rd, 24th and 25th May, and now 27th May, 2026, I have postponed my trip back to Canada and am sitting from 7 am to 10 pm waiting for Amazon to pick up faulty goods back.

Kindly treat this as urgent and call me back, as I will now start spreading the word on each and every social media possible. This is mental harassment and this kind of behaviour from a company like Amazon/India, is totally unacceptable.

If the supplier refuses to accept the goods back, you should black list such suppliers

I need an urgent answer to this problem which has now gotten out of hand.

These guys are worse than a circus. Look elsewhere. Have once spoken to 12 different customer service personnel and still with no resolution. Why do these jokers take an order when they cannot deliver ??? Really sad that jokers like these have a job when decent Hardworking folks are finding it difficult to find a job in our country. Wonder if Jeff is even listening ??? Obviously not cos scenario is the same even after all these negative reports from.frustrated customers.

⚠️ Everyone should notice this before trusting Amazon support too easily.

My exchange failed because of Amazon/courier issues. Multiple agents promised compensation and price difference assistance, but after hours of chats, repeated transfers, and false assurances, the specialist team denied everything with generic policy replies. Different agents kept giving completely different information, wasting my time and causing unnecessary stress.

A company this big should not give customers false hope just to close chats.

Amazon India false delivery status for prepaid orders

I am fed-up with Amazon providing false delivery status for prepaid orders. In spite of multiple complaints and assurence by Amazon India, the issue is not resolved, I have to keep chasing amazon. Does Amazon have no controll over their delivery team? Latest instance of false delivery status - Autofy Storm vacuum cleaner order, delivered by Amazon transportation service. Status shows delivered on 23rd May, 2026, Handed to household member. There is always someone at my home 24/7, including on 23rd, the package was never delivered and now the work that I wanted to do using the vacuum cleaner over the wknd is delayed. Amazon India is highly unreliable, incapable of permanently fixing these delivery issues.

Extremely disappointed with Amazon's Seller, Delivery Partner Delhivery and Customer Service during my three to four large items purchases this focusing on a Refrigerator I tried to purchase from Amazon during 15/4/ 26 – issue is still not resolved!
Product Refrigerator – 2nd Attempt:
Product: Samsung 183 L, 3 Star, Digital Inverter, Direct-Cool Single Door Refrigerator (RR20H2723CU/NL, Camellia Blue, Single Touch Defrost, 2026 Model)
Order Date – 28th April 2026
Seller: DAWNTECH ELECTRONICS PRIVATE LIMITED, Gurugram, Haryana – Worst Seller
Delivery Partner – Delhivery Limited (This is worst company)
Delivered on – 4th May 2026
Condition – 2 back legs missing
Reported to Amazon – same day 4th May – requested that it is difficult to get large items delivered here as their delivery partner “Dehlivery Limited” only allocates 1 person to deliver anything. They do not call in advance and expects us the have some person to help them get the item / a labour at my end or leaves the items on road. So can they simply send me missing legs? I also requested to send me installation engineer to help, but because it was single they did not send anyone – Amazon said they will investigate! When I had sent them the pictures of the product, and complain was simple I was not sure what was to investigate? Anyway I did not have much choice but to let them follow their process – They said I should get some resolution and someone will call me 3 days or I will get replace or refund by 9th May. 3 days passed nobody called or did anything. I had to call them, then they ordered replacement which will be delivered on 13th May and said this fridge will be picked up in next 3 days.
Delhivery Limited – only raised pick-up order on their app – and noted “customer not available” while the guy actually called from top on road, told me “madam ye fridge uper lane ki mere bas ka nahi, mai pick-up nahi kar sakta” – so I said please let your boss know and get one more person to help you. 2nd and 3rd day – they did not bother to call or come – just made note on their Delhivery app – “customer not available” while I was available! This company does the same thing with courier shipment too. They do not deliver at your door step – leave items on road and expect you to arrange your own labour.
6-7-8-9 – May – pick up was not done – I called several times to Amazon to take action – they did not do anything about it at all.
13-May-26: I thought it will get picked when new one arrives. On the 13th My order was not even shipped! Amazon did not care about this! When I called, Amazon said (as usual, sorry about this we will make sure it gets shipped soon) and same message was on order (in Amazon App) – after 4 days on 17th I called Amazon – as nothing arrived and product was still not still not shipped – they said item was damaged on the way, so I won’t get it! I must cancel the order and current fridge will be picked up in next 3 days.
18-19-20-21 May – Same issue the DEHLIVERY LIMITED – did the same thing – did not pick up – same message – “mere bas ki nahi hai”!!!! – again 2nd 3rd and 4th day – they did not even call me – just updated their app – customer not available – which was lie. I can prove this from the phone call logs. Yesterday 21st May – I called Amazon to ensure they pick-up and refund money. They told me, if they do not pick-up tomorrow-22-May-26 Advance Refund team will ensure my refund. An attempt sort this through chat – only meant – transfer from one person to another more than 10 transfers yesterday 21st May-26 !!!! ☹ Today 22-May-26 final pick-up was ordered by Amazon – it was cancelled by Delhivery at 7:39 – on seller’s request! Then I was in classes when I missed their call at 9:19. I tried calling them back +912263257863 but that number does not receive incoming call, so I called Amazon, who said they “Dehlivery” called and directed cancelled pick-up because I did not pick up their call! Cancel because I missed 1 phone call??? In fact – as above they had already cancelled it at 7:39 AM much before calling me!! I sent the images screen shots of my call logs and Delhivery’s cancellation time to Amazon via chat so I can share image and prove that their Delhivery guys cancelled the item on seller’s request – now sick of them, as they really do not have any intention to sort the issue – Seller wants to leave the damage piece with me and Amazon still wants to keep scheduling pick-up and investigate – while I am stuck without fridge – as they did not allow me to use it either! Don’t order from this seller and do not trust Amazon – as they do not care for customer’s time. Being polite is good, apologies for errors is appreciated but if resolution is not found within few days, how long should a customer suffer?
Previous attempt to order small sharp refrigerator, also had come dented. Amazon Customer Service, quality of partners failing day by day.

Amazon India in 2026.now has the policy to avoid refunding customer by stalling the process repeatedly. Been over 2 weeks already and now they say I have to wait 8 more days and when the time arrive they find another excuse to postpone the process again. I wasted hours on the phone. Massively dissatisfied and I will definitely avoid using Amazon India again

Amazon has changed lot of rules and policies with respect to returns.
Please be cautious while purchasing any products and go through refund or return policy before the purchase.
Recently, I bought a third-party battery for my Canon camera and unfortunately, I bought it without checking clearly about the compatibility and all but believe me the product description and pictures were so confusing, I had no option other than buying it and see it physically. There was a small difference in the model of the camera due to which the battery did not fit into the camera.
The simply denied returning it even though I told them that I would purchase a different one from the same company for a different model, but they refused.
In fact, later I checked in the website that the particular model of the battery was not available at all.
I had then purchase it from a different website with the proper compatibility and transparent pictures and model description.
