Amber electric is a MUST! THE BEST!
Amber electric truly is the only way to go for solar and battery energy provision.
It took 3 months for engie to do absolutely nothing, quite literally never set my solar/battery to a solar plan, amongst infinite other issues ... Amber on the other hand managed to switch me over and have me up and running in less than a week! I'm so happy in the change. I'm already bulk selling my solar to the grid when I decide to, making dollars everyday on buying low and selling high. Such an easy system.
One last thing... Bridie who helped me setup, contacted the correct energy provider, kept every cool and calm and ultimately got me the plan I wanted in days... She is one of the best admin/support helpers I've ever had the pleasure of of being supported by. Please double her salary, she's the queen of client services.
Also, whoever designed the user interface of the amber app is a bloody legend... Beautiful, interesting, easy to use... Simple. Great work!

After purchasing an existing home that had solar I installed a Battery and moved over to Amber support help me get all the apps configured and reassigned the system over to me all very easy sent me all the links and walked me through the steps

How to run for almost free electricity.
I had been paying high electricity prices for years before deciding to install solar with a battery. Even after that, my existing retailer continued charging high rates.
My son suggested I try Amber Electric. I hadn’t heard of them before and was quite sceptical, but I decided to make the switch.
The difference has been remarkable. My costs dropped almost immediately, and now my home is running almost entirely on solar energy. Even during the cloudy weather over the past few weeks, the most I’ve paid is around 50 cents per day.
Amber is very responsive and sends notifications of how to improve.

to manage my energy usage. This means that I can maximize my energy savings. the assistance they have given me while i was wanting to access my accrued credits impeccable. I now won't pay an account for at least 4 months.FREE POWER !!!!!!!

Amber Electric has provided a quality service as the energy supplier to my home for more than 6 years. I really like the wholesale pricing structure and the accessibility of real-time information on the electricity market and my system's performance through the easy to use App.
Amber has been responsive to the few queries I have raised, including a recent error in my bill, which was rectified the next day.
I also like the referral to "mates" as a practical way to grow the business.
I strongly support the push to increase renewable power in the system through Amber.

Initially after switching to Amber the system worked great for a little while and then returned an error message. I knew the support crew was overwhelmed by the sheer number of new customers. The communication from the company itself was reassuring and acknowledging the issue they had. I waited approximately 6 weeks and received an email that my system is being investigated. Support at that point kept me fully informed and the smart shift/curtailment features were activated.
It certainly was worth the wait. The system is working great, it is actually brilliant. I have total control over my exports and imports from the grid are negligible.
Having access to wholesale electricity prices is a game changer. Anyone with the right battery/solar set up needs to give Amber a fair go. You will not be disappointed. Great company, great system and now great support.

Dreadful communication
Dreadful communication. As soon as l set up account they completely ignored many emails ,sms and phones calls. Gave them 2 days notice to return messages otherwise join another company which l have just done.
High monthly fees ($85) so no cheaper bills than red energy which l should have stayed with

I have only been with Amber for a short period but I am happy with the services they provide. I love the app and notifications of when electricity is at the cheapest price.

I had a 25kW battery put on my 20kW…
I had a 25kW battery put on my 20kW system. I used to send around 40kw per day to the grid (average). After signing up to Amber and them seeing my usage/export, I now get a zero OR NEGATIVE feed in rate for the sunlight hours so I still have a bill. Not impressive at all, I do not recommend if you are similar producer and user to me. I’m better off getting a consistent amount for my electricity going back to the grid from a different energy supplier.
Switch to Amber- see the benefits
Seen Amber advertsied stating its benefits and thought i would give it a go as did not feel the other electrical suppliers did the best they could ofr customers. After switching to Amber there has been marked cost saving with power costs with the added benefit of being able to sell solar and battery power back to teh grid at great prices.
Happy all round
First, I love the philosophy of using green energy - and witnessing the direct displacement of CO2 volume. Knowing the predicted wholesale cost of energy is an eye opener and to drive your use of energy behavior. I also love the set and forget nature of the using or storing of energy with the SmartShift app. On occassions I like being able to take control directly. Finally, we are in consistently in credit with our energy bills.
