WORST COMPANY

WORST COMPANY. WARNING. DO NOT USE. Liars and crooks. What they quote you is not the price...not even close. Double or triple your price. Also, picked up my cars without approval for the price. A car carrier is on the way expecting to get paid and he is not. Again, beware of these crooks. Also, not accredited with the Better Business Bureau for a good reason.

Not what they say

They will have really good prices up front but when the time comes for pick up and delivery they will change the price. Mine doubled. There are cancelation fees and other hidden fees if you try to back out. If you want to go with them just prepare to pay double the amount stated.

In the end my price was doubled from the quote but the driver was really nice and delivered my car.

They promised me a pick-up time and we agreed on a delivery. They said they had a driver confirmed to pick-up my car. We agreed on a deposit.

I paid the deposit, and later they tell me they can't honor the price or pick-up time, but that they won't refund me of my money.

American car ship inc review

American car ship inc.
BEWARE, this company is a scam! Do not use them!
They quote low then more than double the price!
Quote $495, when scheduling pickup of my car it went to $995. Saying there’s a disclosure in the contract that price subject to change anytime and driver has final say on the final price. Then there’s a $200 cancel fee when you catch them lying and want out

American carship inc - scam

I had an incredibly terrible experience with American Car Ship Inc. They initially quoted me a very low price of $765 to ship my Jeep Wrangler from Illinois to Oregon. I was skeptical and asked if that rate was guaranteed, and they assured me that it was locked in and wouldn’t change. That turned out to be completely false.

On the scheduled day of pickup, they called and nearly tripled the price to $1,800—far above the market average of around $1,200 for that route. When I pushed back, they gave vague explanations and refused to take accountability. I later found several reviews from other customers who had almost identical experiences: lowball quotes that suddenly skyrocketed at the last minute, often on the day of pickup when customers have few options left.

Even worse, they tried to keep my deposit. I had to cite their own contract, which clearly states that a refund is due if no carrier is dispatched, and threaten legal action before they agreed to issue the refund. The entire interaction was unprofessional and dishonest.

Bottom line: This company engages in bait-and-switch pricing and shady business practices. Avoid American Car Ship Inc. at all costs. They wasted my time, caused unnecessary stress, and nearly cost me hundreds of extra dollars. Don’t fall for the low quote—they won’t honor it.

I was traveling down from MA to Tx and my Car broke down in Kentucky. Made a couple of calls in the area and the pricing was ridiculously high. As such I had to spend 2 nights at a hotel before I got reached out by Jason Walker who helped me find a good deal. My car got inspected and picked up the same day and got delivered the next day in TX without any problems.
I am really grateful and appreciate it. Also want to appreciate the driver. They were all professional and polite.
