I can't get the course to work

I can't get the course to work. I spent a lot of money on this class. I tried to do it on à desktop computer and failed. Then I tried on an IPAD and that was even worse. I couldn't verify my identity and I couldn't even view the class on the iPad. You get what you pay for I guess.

I wasted 3 hrs signing up and starting the course. The number of bugs I encountered forced me to ask for a refund (which was granted minus $5). These include being prevented to proceed despite having completed all interactions and being asked for a bio-metric voice print yet prevented by the system to do so as indicated by a red error message.
I used the phone chat for the above problems. In the first chat instance my computer suddenly showed I was allowed to continue (obviously something was changed on their side), then I was asked for a voice print all while the chat disappeared. I was given three attempts and 30 seconds/attempt all while the system displayed an error in red that I could not record my voice print (despite my mic functioning).
I initiated the chat again with the same person and they were quick to offer a refund minus $5.
Something not right with this software and I would recommend another company or doing the course live.

99% done with the course and I need to PAY and start from the very beginning

I was literally 3 sections away from finishing my driver's ed course and I was locked out and told to re-register and start over all because I answered a security question about music genres incorrectly. I was also forced to start over without any warnings a few months ago. This is a straight up scam, do NOT waste your time and money on this.

SCAM!!! MONEY GRAB TERRIBLE COMPANY!!!

My son answered security questions incorrectly while his time was running out and he panicked. He was kicked out and when we called customer service we were told that we would have to re-register him and repay the fee to start over!!! He has already completed module one and has his learners permit. They refuse to honor anything or give us our money back! Total money grab. Such a scam. Local driving school told us this company is the worst! They are correct. No customer service and IF you talk to someone all they say is that it's their policy and your out of luck.

**UPDATE***

**UPDATE***
As of today May 10, 2025 i still have not received my OSHA 30 card. I emailed you this update on Wednesday and Thursday but no one has responded to my email. Also on Friday i called your employee stated that a supervisor would called me back still no phone call. I have been in contact with the US department of labor and inwill be filling a complaint against your company and the University of Fouth Florida.
***UPDATE***

I am having an ongoing issue with my OSHA 30 card that I completed through your program in conjunction with Certus on February 14, 2025.

As of today, May 2, 2025

I have contacted Certus multiple times regarding this issue, and they have provided me with three different dates indicating when the card was supposedly mailed:
- March 19, 2025
- March 24, 2025
- April 23, 2025

To my dismay, I still have not received it. During my most recent conversation with customer service, I was told that I would need to pay an additional $60 for the card, which I find unacceptable given that I have already completed the course and paid the required fees.

Additionally when my concerns have been escalated to management (4 times) only once has management reached out . But even the management can not give me an accurate date that my card was mailed on.

When I asked for i ask for a refund since no one can see to mail me a card I was told that it is not possible since a completed the course. The OSHA 30 card is part of the course.

Due to this matter I would recommend that everyone stay away from this company.

Embedded traps

After failed a quiz 3 times, the system locked me out and asked me to register again. There’s no mentioning of this feature anywhere, not in the commercial, not in the user agreement, it’s basically a trap so you have to pay for another run. There’re many driver school provide zoom courses, they’re much better by comparison, avoid this course!

It Worked For Me

Was easy to use and didn't have any problems. Other reviews said it wouldn't work but I didn't have any issues. Used it to get my Drivers Ed and it worked fine for me

DO NOT USE

How this is an approved provider by TDLR is beyond me. Similar to other reviews, my son was half way through a drivers ed course to get his license and they "changed portals". Discontinued his course. So all 7 hours of the course had been lost. No worries though, they did give us a voucher and told us to start over! Their response was, "they sent email notifications (which was not the case) and put reminders on our website". Well a 15 year old boy is not going to be reading a website every day. He goes to the bookmarked login portal and does his course!! I have filed a complaint with TDLR as well.

"NY SAFETY COUNCIL" Provided by American Safety Council was terrible

"NY SAFETY COUNCIL" Provided by American Safety Council.
I Used "NY SAFETY COUNCIL" from American Safety Council, this company is a scam and only wanted your money. They locked my course for no reason. I was 5 mins away from finishing the course. I spent almost 6 hours. On My last final quiz at my first attempt, I answered all the 5 questions and When I was attempted to click the submit button, the verified question popped up. After I successfully answering it. The screen displayed another 5 questions and stated 2 attempts remaining. When I clicked go to assessment, the computer screen displayed: your course is blocked ...... .They asked me to re-register. They just wanted to make money. I used this company 3 years ago and nothing like this happened. I will never use this company any more in the future. I have 10 friends that were going to take a defensive driving course, and they want to know about my experience. I almost wanted to recommend it to them. I sent the company an email and no response, I called, and it said the estimated wait time more than 10 mins. I waited for 50 mins and no body answered the phone. I will not re-register with them, I will do it with another company. The website is terrible, the video "Another Night" was so old and blurry. Sometimes the video freeze and the sounds weren't clear. The Better Business Bureau should investigate this business. They will lose customers if the way they do business like this. NY SAFETY COUNCIL is terrible. Just waste time and money to deal with this worst company ever. I just discovered this business rating is 1.3. If I knew this before, I wouldn't register my course with them.

0 stars would be appropriate

If I could give 0 stars, that would be appropriate here. This is a scam. They cannot be contacted and lock you out of courses due to their technical issues. They then have the audacity to charge you to retake the course.
AVOID!!!

DO NOT TRUST THESE SCAMMERS

DO NOT TRUST THESE SCAMMERS! Upon taking a quiz, I had to submit my answers a few times (not a problem related to me - they either have a glitch in their system or they make sure something goes wrong) and they said I've had too many failed attempts and told me to re-register (basically purchase the course again?!) they don't give a refund either. I'm sure they do this on purpose. Avoid this company, TOTAL SCAMMERS!

The American Safety Council's Life and…

The American Safety Council's Life and Health Insurance Certification Program is an absolute disaster. From start to finish, my experience has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing.

Firstly, the content is severely outdated. The examples provided still use dates from 2015, making the material not only inaccurate but also irrelevant. This is unacceptable for a certification program that is supposed to prepare you for a current and competitive industry.

The user interface is extremely old and clunky. Navigating through the program feels like stepping back into the early 2000s. It is neither user-friendly nor efficient, which adds unnecessary stress to an already challenging certification process.

One of the biggest flaws is the testing system. You are allowed to take only one practice test, which you must pass to be eligible for the official exam at a testing center. This is incredibly limiting. The inability to take multiple practice exams hinders your preparation and increases the likelihood of failure.

My nightmare didn't end there. After completing the life insurance portion and passing the exam, I moved on to the health insurance section. Upon completion, the exam did not appear in the Pearson Vue queue for scheduling. I have emailed the American Safety Council three times and received no response. There is no accessible phone number for direct contact, leaving me in the dark with no way to resolve the issue.

When I finally reached a customer service representative, their lack of knowledge and helpfulness was astounding. They suggested I create multiple accounts with Pearson, which is not only impractical but also indicative of their complete misunderstanding of the problem.

In conclusion, I will never purchase anything from this company ever again. The American Safety Council's Life and Health Insurance Certification Program is a waste of time, money, and effort. Save yourself the trouble and look for a more reliable and up-to-date certification program elsewhere.

This testing site is not what it appears to be.

This testing site is ridiculous. It is setup for you to fail. From the very start you are required to answer 20 security questions. Yes TWENTY!! You are also required to provide voice recognition also. During the testing you are asked one of the security questions. If you get it wrong you are blocked out of further testing and the only way to restart is to pay again!!!
While watching the videos for the test, it repeats itself 2 or 3 times. After each section you are given a quiz question. It is a 45 second timed question. You have 3 chances to answer correctly if not….,you’re blocked out. Only to be asked to pay again to restart.
Calling customer service for help is useless. After being on hold for a least 1/2 hour, you speak to someone about getting a refund for this bogus course and they hang up!!
Don’t waste your time or money on this site. It definitely should be reported to the BBB.
It is a very sketchy operation. I would leave 0 stars if I could. Please beware.

I wish I can give 0.
Why are you charging for giving the certificate that I already paid for? This is a deceptive and immoral practice. Please arrange to email me the safe driver course certificate that I already completed.
