If I could negative score I would-the…

If I could negative score I would-the simple process of updating my cycle details is turning into a Kafka esque nightmare.Calls cut off,no one can make a simple change to details,the values of my new bikes are very much the same as the ones they are replacing-I'm typing this whilst on hold(for the third time) whilst the person working from home dealing with my call is probably having a pooh or cooking their dinner...finally he reconnects and says it'll have to wait til tomorrow because he's taken so long and now the underwriters have knocked off.....

Greedy bxxxxxxs

Greedy bxxxxxxs. I recently moved from one part of Otago to Queenstown, and AMI stuck my premium up. I'm certain it's because of the post code. Every service and product in QT is driven by greed. Shame on you AMI. You surely make enough money AMI, but you just want to squeeze hard working people harder.

Heartless insurance company

We have been with AMI for over 35 years, we have everything insured with them! When we needed them the most,and finally make 2 x claims, after all these years taking our money, they decline one ( we will keep fighting) and give us less than half we got quoted to get another fixed!
I cannot wait to change companies, but they have us over a barrel at the moment. I have never been so destroyed or disheartened by a company we have been loyal to for so long. Absolutely no empathy at all to their clients
Would give zero if I could.

CHANGE TO ANOTHER INSURER

I don’t even want to give them one star. 42 minutes dying on hold to get “my computers running slow” REALLY‼️ Service (well non service) doesn’t feature, offshore staff and hopeless assistance after having tried to negotiate the website help (non help).
I have cancelled ALL my policies and gone elsewhere.

Keep away from this typical useless…

Keep away from this typical useless greedy New Zealand's insurance company!
My premium with them was about NZ$800 dollars for the first year, but now they are demanding me to pay about $1300 for the second year, even though I have never made even a single claim with them and I have even the excess of $1000.
It just does not make sense to me at all, so I told them to give me the detail (breakdown) of this exorbitant increase in the premium but they have failed to give it to me so far.
Presumably, they do not have one because I know how things operate in this kind of backward country like New Zealand where just too many businesses are so greedy yet providing very poor customer services.
You must think "thousand times" before buying an insurance policy from them.
Keep away!

AMI - the most useless insurance company

Useless company. I filled in some information online and got told house was too old and they gave me a unique QTEA number to phone them up. So called them up and they could not find their own QTEA number in their system (INCOMPETENT). So spent 45 min starting from scratch and answering all questions again, then it needed to go to their underwriter for review so the operative gave me a new QTEA number and said they would call me the next day. No call the next day (USELESS). So I call today and they look up my QTEA number and nothing has happened and there is nor record of my info going to an underwriter (SO ANNOYING). So the guy on the phone says he wants to go through it all again - I HUNG UP!!!! Would not want my house being looked after by this useless company....

Most horrendous experience everr

Most horrendous experience ever. I have had my private vehicle insurance with AMI since I was 19 years, I made a claim for wrong fluids in which I was told my insurance was covered by, but AMI said I had to take the vehicle into a garage to have an assessment and that AMI would pay for this and then a vehicle assessor would make the assessment, the vehicle assessor has been telling the mechanic to take apart the engine to find the issue without my knowledge and consent and then have declined the claim saying the wrong fluids was not put in the vehicle ( I can prove it was) and there is nothing with the engine ( the issue has still not been found in the engine) this has cost me approximately $650 so far at the instruction of AMi and the assessor and they don't even know what the issue is and then AMI has gone and declined my claim. The vehicle assessor did not assess the vehicle in the 2 week period and did not see the vehicle in person and now I am left with a huge bill, no working vehicle and nearly lost my new job as this process has left me without a vehicle for nearly 3 weeks now! I can't remove my car from the garage until this has been paid. AMI P!ss poor communication, horrendous service

😡😠 never use this insurance

😡😠 never use this insurance. Really really really Bad Experience with them, yesterday our vehicle is broken down. We was waiting for tow truck. We gave first ring them on 4:30am told our condition and location and truck reached to us at 2:30 pm 🤬🤬🤬🤬 after 20-25 calls. We told them that our baby is with us, please consider our request. Always say truck will reachable soon . The means of Soon according to them is 10 hours😡😡😡😡😡 wastes of time and money. They just made fool to people. We paid insurance fees for our emergency services not for time wasting. 🤬

Rang them to make a change to policy…

Rang them to make a change to policy payments. Next day they took over $1k out of our account for no reason. When we rang them to ask why they told us they had not taken anything out. We provided them with proof of payment. No reason given until we kept asking for. They took it out of our account for another customer. This was 29.08.24. We have been told it will get approved for reimbursement 09.09.24 and then be paid 3-5 working days after that.

Horrible service always and attitude…

Horrible service always and attitude over the phone, have 7 business cars with them waiting for the day to have the time to replace all the policies.
Aman is quite short over the phone like the rest of representatives.

I have been a costumer for over 10…

I have been a costumer for over 10 years without making a clame, and the one time I did they declined it on a minor technicality, without even considering how small the clame would have been. I was transferred from one person to the next the service was terrible.
