Not happy with the id check
Not happy with the id check. A photo of both sides of a driving licence was always enough. Uploading household bills proves nothing especially as they come via email and I screenshot it. All in my wife's name anyway.
My bank statement address page doesn't show a transaction and there's no way I'm letting you know how much money I have in the bank! It actually says the driving licence will do as proof of address but it doesn't show I the list.
I'm absolutely tired of these intrusive I'd checks everywhere. You very nearly lost a customer.

After speaking with existing insurers…
After speaking with existing insurers with whom I have several cars insured on multiple policies, I was disappointed by their quotes and very impressed with all the benefits offered by The AA and the competitive quote they had offered. I accepted their offer.
It’s a great start and so hope it remains that way. However, I would like to say - For an experienced driver with no accidents for over 20 years and who is paying for several policies an insurance provider should take this into account when quoting and I feel the AA was the only provider which took this into account. So thank you AA.

Fast and good options. Went for the Platinum quote as it offered all I wanted.
