Time to install for a first time crew was much greater than estimated. We expected more of the components to be put together, shingles on, etc. Quality is very good. Service and cooperation in shipping was great. "Friction" in rating is not accurate.

Being in a Family business myself gave me a sense of confidence that Amish Gazebo would deliver.
And right from the start they did, communication via phone and email was immediate. the ordering process was smart and detailed. samples were sent and decisions confirmed. even the delivery process went great.
Kit was well packaged and sub-kits well Identified. Assembly directions are very good and we had the option of calling there service dept. (never did,)
My son and I built the unit in approximately 100 man hours. But we had the help of some lifting equipment. without that equipment would have needed five men the first day to get the heavy pieces set.
assembled unit is tight and impressive.
The result is exactly what my wife and I wanted and are enjoying daily.

We were apprehensive about ordering our pavilion sight unseen but are glad we did. It really looks great. Well worth the time/money by buying instead of building it from scratch. Customer support was superb, no complaints or problems.

Except for initially holding the columns by my wife, I did all the assembly by myself (60+). I used the instructions as a guide and improvised with temporary support structures since I was the only labor available.

I highly recommend their products.

I knew I'd like my new 12' octagonal gazebo with pagoda roof and full enclosure, but I have to say that I'm more thrilled with it than I ever thought I'd be. Its spectacularly beautiful from the floorboards right on up to the crest of the eagle's head on the weather vane. The workmanship of the delivered components was incredible, and I can't say enough good things about the surprisingly young installation crew, who were not only courteous and friendly, but also very industrious and incredibly attentive to the smallest details. I'm so glad I chose an Amish Country Gazebo and even more glad that I chose to have them erect it.

would suggest that you have more than basic skills and tools to put the kit together. The service department was helpful in helping to select the materials and for questions during construction. We are proud of the final product. We purchased the ivory low maintenance (not wood) and think we will not have to worry about keeping it up in the years to come. The inside of the roof is beautiful.

Great quality, went together perfectly, delivery was smooth.

The square-headed screws did not work well at all. A normal drill would just strip them. I had to go out and buy $80 worth of star-headed screws and those worked fine.

I had some damage in shipping, they were very helpful in getting me the parts I needed to complete my project.

We purchased a Gazebo in March and it was installed in April. Thus far we have eaten dinner in our gazebo 5 out of 7 nights each week. It's beautiful and sturdy. We hope to enjoy many gatherings in the years to come. They were great to work with and the installers even came back to adjust the door as it was sticking a little after install. I recommend them highly!

Great quality for the price and the installation was easy enough that I finished it in a few days without too much help.

The phone reps were knowledgeable and friendly which made it so easy to make our gazebo selection. The company was willing to hold out gazebo until we were ready for shipment. When they did deliver- it was on time just as they promised.

In all categories, my experience with Amish Country was positive: the cost was reasonable, the delivery was ;prompt, the instructions were clear and precise enough for me and two friends, none of us carpenters, to assemble the pergola without any difficulty, though it did take the better part of a day, and Amish Country stood by its product after the sale. There was a minor problem with the L-trim for the superior posts, and Amish Country readily agreed to replace that item. I would recommend Amish Country without reservation. John W. Storey

I love my gazebo. It was easy to put together. I was worried about putting on the shingles. I am terrified of ladders. However, I got it done and I am very proud of myself. Not bad for a 67-year old widow!!!

Other than trying to keep the balustrades and railing together during the initial assembly steps, ( I got the hang of it after a couple of tries), the rest of the assembly went off without a hitch.

It is a good thing my husband knows how to put things together. He doesn't know how someone could put it together without knowing what they were doing. The floor wasn't lined up correctly and my husband had to use shims and rent a sanding machine to get the floor flat. Some parts didn't go together without a lot of help of knowing what to do. The top round of the cupola was very rough. It had to have fill put in before painting it white. Other than all this, it does look nice put together.

What a pleasant experience. I was pleased to receive my gazebo in 2 weeks from ordering it as they had a previous trip to Florida planned. What quality craftsmanship, it went together quite easily and looks fantastic.

We are greatly impressed by the quality and workmanship. The installers were exceptionally skillful and courteous.. We have already spent many enjoyable hours in the gazebo. We continually admire its charm and beauty.

I had looked all over the Internet for a reasonable priced Pergola and when I saw the Pergola in a box, I knew we had to have it!!!
The price was amazing!!! Less than anybody else, free shipping and no tax and at the time it was offered with a 20% discount!!
I spoke to the people at Amish Country and they treated me like a king!! I ordered it on a Saturday and was told it would take 4-6 weeks, well it came in less than 2 weeks!! We were so excited!!
My son and I planned on building it on a weekend and it actually took us less than 2 days to assemble it, more a day and a couple of hours. The detailed instructions with colored pages made it so easy!!!
We are enjoying our new Pergola emensely!!
Anybody who buys one will be happy they did!!! We certainly are!!!!!

In general the Gazebo experience was satisfactory except for the following items.
1) Plywood boards used as ceiling for the Gazebo was rough and some of them had cracks in there.
2) No tar papers were provided to create waterproof surface underneath the asphalt shingles..
