Amish Country Gazebos Reviews 

My son and his friend built it from a kit in five hours, with the exception of the roofing materials. Both are in construction and found the instructions to be as high a quality as the materials.

Neither of the boys felt comfortable roofing the gazebo, so I hired a licensed contractor. The contractor added three steps not included in the kit. First, he added extra supports to the underneath side of the roof to cover the seams in the plywood for a more finished look and added stability. Second, he added metal flashings along edge of roof so plywood would not be exposed to water. Third, he glued tar paper to plywood before adding roofing shingles to keep roof more water resistant. His labor and the added materials cost an additional $400, but he finished the roofing project in a half a day, and the added effort enhanced the quality of the finished product.

I am now on the process of landscaping around the gazebo with fruit trees, roses and perennials. My husband and I are looking forward to using the space year round.

All of our neighbors have called to compliment us on the personality the gazebo added to our front yard. One neighbor is going to by the kit for her mother.

From first call to a new gazebo the process was flawless. Selection of the right size, managing timelines, delivery - it all went great. The gazebo itself is high quality. I do have to add that it is easier to get it constructed than to do it yourself. Check around locally, it is usually lower cost. But don't skimp on the gazebo, Amish Gazebos is great!

They ship this item so fast and very well packed.

A great looking product that was manufactured for an fairly easy install. The pergola at the front of our house will increase the sale price by more than cost of buying and installing it.

Very satisfied with my purchase and delivery of my gazebo. The company staff and employee's did everything that they said they would do , no problems what so ever, they kept me informed through the whole purchasing process.
Great so far, but have not assembled the gazebo yet. Hope the second half is as good as the first half.

The installation and quality was a sight to behold. What a manificent gazebo. We bought it for installation in South Carolina based on website photos. Wow! So much more than we expected. Talk about precision, the
Amish installers had it up in 1.5 days, everything about the gazebo is high quality, an great value. Our neighbors came by to see work in progress and were highly impressed with the installation team and especially the final product. We highly recommend Amish Country Builders to all requiring this kind of solution.

As to the end item it appears well built and is certainly beautiful. The installers where some of the hardest working, talented boys I have seen; really tried to satisfy.

The firms administration certainly lacks professionalism or a appreciation of the customer and others whole heartily agree. Friendly until they received their money, I asked for a projected delivery date so I could adjust my schedule they never returned calls and finally we received a call saying they would be next week. Resulting in a rush trying to reschedule appointments. After the installation we called and asked if they had any ideas on how to mount a wind vane? Their crew and I could not figure out a mounting at least they tried we never heard back from the firm.

It was almost the difference to going else where.

The whole experience was very positive. I will definitely recommend Amish Gazebos to my friends, relatives, and acquaintances. They helped me choose the right Gazebo, they helped me choose options for my Gazebo, and they delivered it right on time. The price was competitive with all the other companies out there and the service was top notch. The gentleman who delivered and assembled my Gazebo was so polite, competent, and right on time. The Gazebo is well-built, beautiful, and will last a lifetime. It's become my "special" place - I love it!!!

The 10' gazebo was too much for me, as a senior citizen to erect. I hired a local construction crew to assemble it. I was surprised that the deck wasn't stained to match the gazebo. The unit sits in a memorial garden and is very attractive.

Only thing found not right was the screws for Cupola were to short.
Everything else was excellent.

We finally had time and weather to assemble our pergola and it looks great. Overall, everything fit with some pieces being a little tight and needing some wallops with a mallet to fit properly. We were definitely pleased with the color and design. Our only reservation which is the reason for the 4 stars versus a 5 star rating is the estimated time that the factory suggests is needed for assembly. There is NO WAY that this can be assembled in 4 hours by two people. This is a full day and more likely a day to two day project. There were two of us guys who are comfortable with construction and who did the heavy work with our wives helping with the lighter items. So that you don't waste time, if you don't own a commercial quality hammer drill for securing the posts into the concrete foundation, rent one as it will definitely save time. After spending 30 minutes using a home version to drill one hole, we went down and rented a commercial one from Home Depot. The other 15 holes took 30 minutes to drill and another 30-40 minutes to rout out the holes due to excess concrete dust causing the bolts not to go fully into the concrete. Have a good ratcheting wrench and work it fast. Once this was done, everything went smoothly, but it will take you some time and we were pleased with the results. The staff at Amish Country Gazebos were wonderful to work with and very helpful. I would certainly order from them again and would recommend their products to our friends.

The staff are very nice and courteous.

Materials arrived and were concealed in plastic. Delivery was smooth, the individual delivering the gazebo was polite and arrived when he told us he would.
Excellent craftmans ship and precise that mad the project doable.
Looking forward to using the gazebo this spring and summer.

Not an afternoon job. However we got it completed

I have been pleased with my experience with Amish Country Gazebos as the gazebo arrived quickly, but it will not be opened until spring, as we are just beginning winter weather.

The folks I dealt with the Amish County Gazebos were very friendly and cooperative - not always found in businesses today. They worked with me on my design to make sure it would work where I wanted it to be installed. The pergula came in a neat package and was well protected and was easy to assembly. The materials were very stout and will last a long time. I would recommend them to anyone wanting a pergula or gazebo.

Can't say enough about this company. Excellent customer service and the quality of their materials used on our gazebo are superior! It took 3 men (partial days) to put it together. It was delivered as promised. It's beautiful!

Purchased a 10 x 10 pavilion. Kit delivered to my door. Driver very courteous and helpful. Did the assembly myself...with assistance...needed extra hands for portions of the process. Decided to have a roofer do the shingles. Good design and engineering. Things fit together well. Minimal tweeking. Instructions good. Did need to call to clarify some points/procedures. Good response. Purchased an electrical add-on. Had hoped that it would be integrated into the structure. Parts received were minimal. Able to return them without question and received a credit. Pleased with everyone I dealt with. Getting compliments on the unit.
