I love coming here. The staff are super friendly and helpful, without ever talking down to you or dismissing your questions or suggestions (which I've experienced at other bike shops in the area). The service is quick and very reasonably priced. So glad to have this shop close by.

The most helpful staff! Fair and honest pricing and good quality work - I've been quoted much higher prices at other chains and the work is never as good. Always happy to help out with little things like unscrewing a pannier rack I couldn't get off the back of my bike. Everyone here is super knowledgable and happy to help.

Great staff! I went in during the lockdown. My bike was delivered without the pedals being installed. Although, they were really busy, they helped me by screwing the pedals in and they did not charge me for it!!

We were looking to buy electric bike, shop personal were very helpful in detailing information, dos and don't and after care etc. We did buy our bike from the shop in the end. Top Service!

Wonderful experience! The staff were clear in their explanations and really cared about making sure everything was right. They helped me order parts online and made sure I was comfortable with everything. Highly recommended for their professionalism and dedication!

I ordered a classic cargobike in September 2024. Delivery was fast and satisfactory.
However, during the assembly process of the bike several points became apparent:

- The frame has scratches
- On tube had a puncture and needed replaced
- The specifically two additional Y belts were not delivered
- Additional delivery charges from FedEx (115GBP) which were not mentioned
- The parking brake does not work
The whole leaflet for assembly is difficult to read and understand, it requires bike assembly knowledge (I needed professional help to assemble the brakes)

I complained several times via phone and e-mail from the beginning of October onwards and only received the correct belts in December. All other points mentioned have been ignored and are still open to this date, without any reply since January.
The bike seems to be of good quality and exactly what I need day to day, but the customer service is really poor and unhelpful. It really is a shame as a great product loses its recommendation potential due to lack of after sales and complaint services.

I am having some issues with the electronic on my cargo bike (ultimate curve). My bike is just 1 and a half year old and the pedal assist doesn't work anymore.

Their website states two years warranty but they refuse. Instead... I can send a complaint... What a joke! Wording on their site: "At Amcargobiks we have several guarantees that cover you better than our standard 24 month warranty.";

Also, all of their spare parts are way over priced. 100 pounds for a pedal assist sensor and a magnet... This should be max 15 pounds. I asked for the references to buy it somewhere else and they didn't respond. Same goes for the controller. They just buy cheap parts from Asia and sells them for loads of money.

I saw loads of comments on the points bikes arrive 80% assembled. It is correct. They are 80% assembled if you count the fact that spokes and nipples are assembled on the 3 wheels. It took me around 10 hours of work with some pretty rough guide. I was super proud of me for being able to build it and passing the services without issues.

In short, spend more money and buy a bike in a shop so that if something goes wrong, you can actually talk to someone who is going to be able to help you and not just overcharge you for parts. How are 5 spokes worth 17.95 pounds? If you take the time to respond, please explain.

We are very happy with our new Amladcykel electric cargo bike and can recommend it. This is not a Christiania Bike, it is the affordable version, still reliable and a good product. It does lack an accelerator but once you get used to the engine functions everything works fine. Lots of spare parts and customer service.

Recommending everyone around me looking for a new cargo bike to go for anything BUT Amlad.
We have one of their standard cargo model and have been using it very little because of all the issues we’ve been facing throughout the years.
Throughout these 2-3 years with minimal use, we have had to change the frame (broken within a year), the battery (disfunction after about a year), the screen, the battery sensor etc… and obviously have had to pay for all these services.
On top of really poor quality bike which we should have expected from the competitive price, the worst part of it all is the customer service ; they take no responsability AT ALL.
We went for Amlad because of their design, functionality and price ratio and regret it every single day since.
I would warmly recommend paying those extra thousands and get a proper bike with a proper customer service, it will be break even within no time.

one month delay in delivery time minimum instead of the 2 to 3 working days they advertised. That without giving any info if you don't contact them. when asking to get refund of the delivery fee they don't reply.

Horrible service from amaladcykler. They knew the problem was with the remote sensor but still did not completely fixed it. They have a business model that relies on continuous charging the customer with high fees for simple fixes.

Update from September/October
After several messages/emails to the amladcykler and continuous problem with the bike battery - no resolution is provided. The bike continues to be useless for us.

I've purchased an el-Lowrider a week ago and did 200km on it so far! It is an amazing model! The design is so much better than the normal design. The service was always very friendly and thy even let me exchange my battery for a larger one - after the purchase! The ladcykel is very safe and can be very fast. I got all needed equipment included in the price, and even the disk brakes! To conclude - If there is one thing I'd love to see different, I wish the bikes were actually made in Denmark instead of China. I'd gladly pay more for a locally produced bike.

Appalling customer service. Completely unhelpful. Provided wrong parts to fix a broken bike and refuse to accept a return. Claim they cannot support customers over the phone and email but then should not sell their products abroad. Stay clear.

A very disappointing customer service experience!
I went to their physical store in Fredericksburg to buy a battery, and the salesperson told me I can return it if it doesn’t fit for my bike. 20 minutes later I arrive home and I notice the battery has 5 pins, while my bike has 6 pins, so I couldn’t even connect it because it doesn’t fit. I call their call center as instructed and they say they don’t return batteries. When I explain the salesperson in store told me I can return it, they say that’s not true.

Later I checked their website policy and they say they accept returns for unused batteries only for the website sales (“This right of withdrawal applies to web sales only.”) which is totally unfair, and discriminatory towards customers in their physical store.

Customer service over email was not helpful at all, upon writing my second reply, their only input was “read our previous email”.

Totally unacceptable and a lack of respect towards the customer, only for getting one more sales in.

We have just bought one cargo bike amladcykler. It works, more or less, but it does not come even close to the description of the seller. We decided to buy a deluxe version, with anti-punch tires. After a week of riding just in the town, one was already gone as they are extremely low quality. The battery promises to cover 40 km, even in winter, but it is already a miracle if it arrives to 17. We have contacted the seller to do an upgrade of the battery (paying an extra), as it is not enough for our needs, but it was refused. I would not recommend it.

I ordered a Ladcyckle and I got it just in 2 days. The team at the store was really helpful and they fixed all the accossories and explained all about the fuctions of the Cycle, I am just using it for 2 days now. But I am happy with the performance. Thanks a lot to the team.

Overall good experience. I'm new in Denmark and new to cargo bike world but website provided all the relevant information. It’s been 15 days I’m using the bike with my two kids and everything working fine. From order confirmation, till delivery of the bike - everything went smoothly. I bought two insurance approved locks from the store located in Copenhagen and the staff guided me on everything very well and also gave me tips and tricks & gave me brief demo of the bike too. Recommended to everyone who are planning to buy their first cargo bike.

just waste of money, after 7 months of occasional use the electric bike display ad battery are not working
