I ordered a wooden Louisa York yarn bowl as a gift for a friend. It was dirty inside and very rough. I used sandpaper to smooth the inside otherwise it would have snagged on the yarn. The carved part where the yarn passes through was actually black and took a lot of cleaning. I ran some yarn through it and it came out black. I think it is clean enough now. I should have returned it, but that is difficult at the moment. To say I am disappointed is putting it mildly.
This is the first time I have been disappointed with a purchase from Amazon.

I purchased a Valeo rear parking kit from Deals Direct via Amazon. The kit was clearly advertised as fitted. I was the in a communication roundabout with the seller and Amazon. I was ultimately told by Amazon to send the kit back for a refund and they are also now selling the same kit though it now no longer mentions the installation.
It would appear Amazon are happy for companies or themselves to blatantly mislead customers with false advertising, gain sales from it and then just brush it under the carpet. not what most would call professional.

So if you wish to take a chance and miss sell a product and the worst that you wish to happen if you may have to give a refund to the customer that you just totally miss lead, then I would suggest Amazon is the place for you. Happy misrepresenting and miss-selling and don't forget, Amazon welcome you.

It's not amozon.com, it's amazon.com. Don't go to amozon.com it puts a virus in your computer. Go to amazon.com instead for the real thing. I haven't tried to order anything but it's probably fake. But it did try to put a virus in my computer. Thankfully my anti virus program fought it off. It's amazon with an a not amozon with an o. And there would be more than 29 reviews for a world wide company like this. There's over 10,000 reviews on the real amazon.

I bought a mobile phone from them and it was a total fake so be careful if you are looking for a phone for #200 or under it will be a phone brand noone knows saying that the phone has more specs than a new iPhone but all for £50 I paid for a p3 I didn't know that amazon was just. Like ebay so do your research before you get a cheap phone because 100% it will be a knock off my phone only had one camera at the back when it supposedly had 3 and a hole host of problems with it iw will come in a cheap generic white box with its picture on the front or it's name do your homework before you are ready to be scammed its all the rubbish from wish.com and allied express and vova stay away you have been warned

I think Amazon is a good company in the way of never needing to leave the house for objects it is truly revolutionary

I ordered my mum a birthday present with prime which should have come the next day. I go and check my post I see nothing, I go to check my tracking and it said the item had been delivered, so I ring up and was told it was a mistake and it might come in the next 48 hours. Now I have to tell my mum that the present won't come in time. This is the horrendous customer service Amazon offer. Utterly disappointed! Next they send me a "nice" email and refund me this doesn't fix anything this was for my mother and Amazon ruined her birthday they will do anything to get me to take this review down but they need a good excuse like there will be anything that will make my mum feel better.

I can't believe they rip you off a lot. takes forever to arrive and give you their own rates to make you think they are sooo great.

Order a parcel, driver said he tried to deliver it to my home, total lie as it turns out he couldn't find my home, so after contacting amazon to get it delivered again, telling driver to leave with my neighbour, driver turned up when I was not in, because like most people who work during the day I wasn't in. Did he leave parcel with neighbour no he just drove off, so no parcel, told amazon just cancel order, was told it would take 7 days for money to be put back into my account, so for 7 days I am out of pocket, funny it only took a minute to take my money, I think this is called obtaining money through disception, will not be dealing with amazon again

I am tired of talking to service people in different countries. Like South Africa, Philippines' India, etc. They may speak some English but most do not understand it . Stop being greedy Amazon, and thinking of just your bottom line. Give me a American service rep. in America.

I've ordered several items and never had a problem with shipping or the condition of my order

I WILL NEVER E V E R USE THIS online selling platform again. Let me say however that it's OK if your order goes smoothly, and you successfully receive the item purchased.
BUT and this is a humdinger of a caveat beware if anything goes wrong, and anything can go wrong from NOT receiving your order to being charged TWICE to Amazon taking UNAUTHORISED amounts from your account.
I have been the victim of all three above. Trying to sort this rubbish out and rectify the situation is an absolute time consuming nightmare. While this isn't the forum to list all and every detail, this is a warning to those who haven't suffered the perils of something going wrong. B e w a r e.

Amazon was good until last year when they keep hiring lying courier (hermes) who claimed they arrived for delivery/collection. Whats worse this year is I had been on call with customer service for an hour per issue to deal with lying courier for collection and deliveries and all they can do is promise me they will come the next day, which they didn't and I made long hour call again and they didn't come again.

At a point, a manager asked me a ridiculous question: Can you go through all of your pass orders and tell me all orders that you have issues with Hermes... This question was asked during a call after midnight and he basically asked me to switch on my computers and dig through like 1000+ emails between me and amazon. I mean, what is the point of asking me this question in order to get my delivery to my door from Hermes for real (after missing deliveries/collection 3 times in a row). He insisted me answering that question and I did spend 20 mins at 12:15am-12:35am to find the answer for him before he can help me on why Hermess missed collection for 3 times in a row!!!! Can't believe this question is from their manager. (He didnt really resolve the issue too when the one hour phone call is finished)

Btw, i have been a prime member for many years but I dont think I will continue the membership anymore.

Don't trust Amazon because they purposely act dishonestly, no doubt! If you read the reviews, you will notice they always post first the so called "top reviews". Well, my friends, there is a good chance that these "top reviews" are lies and nothing but lies. Read the "most recent". If the latest reviews are as good, there is a good chance that the item is worth it. Another example of fraudulent act on Amazon, is, for example the presentation of a shirt. If you look the image presentation, you tell yourself, the quality and the fitting is outstanding, to say the least. Then, when you receive the item, you will be surprised, extreme poor cloth quality and no fitting at all (Hanes). I reported incorrect product information to Amazon and Amazon has done nothing. So, the seller and Amazon are dishonest and corrupt; what else could they be?
