I haven’t yet received the two items I…

I haven’t yet received the two items I ordered despite my order being placed 23 days ago now. What was even more disappointing as a returning customer of this business was that my £5 delivery fee I paid to receive my items in a 1-4 working days timescale was refused to be refunded by the owner Naomi. The delay is attempting to be blamed upon courier delays - although in my last correspondence I was told the courier has not yet actually collected the item and a replacement order will be sent but I’m still expected to pay £5 for what will be almost 30 days by the time this is (hopefully) received….. I shared these products from previous orders on my social media accounts back when the business was “Neome Collection” but this experience unfortunately prevents me from making any future orders or from further recommending these products. I was told the owner “ can’t refund everybody’s shipping cost “ which as a small business owner myself feels irresponsible firstly to not asses this on an individual basis but secondly careless to expect a returning customer to await a month for delivery and provide an insincere generic response when this is requested . Your only as good as what people say about when you when your customer base have a problem after all! I would avoid folks

The current UK postage delays we are all experiencing is a very frustrating time for both retailers and customers, and is something that is unfortunately out of our control. I hope you understand that I was not able to send out a replacement order for you until I was able to get an answer from the courier, I tried my very best to get this but as explained in my emails, even having tried ringing every day, I could not get through on the phonelines due to their demand at the moment. Once I did get through on Friday, I packed up and shipped a replacement order for you immediately. Apologies, I think you may have misunderstood my last email, I dropped your parcel off to the parcel shop and collected by my local courier weeks ago, what I was told on the phone by Evri on Friday is that the parcel is stuck at your local depot and is still awaiting a courier to collect it for delivery. As of 07:53 this morning, your replacement order is being processed at the hub and will be with you very soon. Best wishes and we hope you have a lovely Christmas, ANDFOUR

Damaged poor quality products

After I completed my purchase, days past and no further dispatch or delivery correspondence was sent. (An issue you need to address with your shipping provider. Not me.)

I had to chase the shop for an update. Finally, they arrived and were damaged which was not in transit as the box was perfect and there were no snapped pines in the box. They refused to replace 1 severly noticeably broken stem. (2 inch gap due to the missing pines 1/4 way up the stem) They knew it would not be cost effective to return, however, they refunded 1 damaged stem at the same cost as what it would of been to send 1 replacement stem. Absolutely terrible customer service. I was told to just put them in a vase to hide the big gap in the lower pines of the palm leaf. Just as bad as telling someone to put on thier shoes to hide a hole in their new pair of socks! Completely unprofessional. I would not recommend.

I have the conversation and I quote you said "pop them in a vase and see if your happy. You often can't see the bottom of the palms once they're in a vase" (she sent me images of the palms in deep pottery vases where half of the stem is hidden within the vase to demonstrate). You would refund for 1 stem but cannot send a replacement and to let you know you'll refund tonight -To which I replied they were for a display so will be visible and it's a shame, it seems I have no choice. No further communication was had and I recieved £6

Thank you for your comments. Your order was sent in a timely manner and, as per our website shipping details, all further dispatch, tracking and delivery correspondence is sent via our courier Evri. It is also noted on our website to check your junk inbox for these emails.

You messaged us for an update regarding your order at 14:49 on the 1st Nov and I responded to you at 15:32 on the same day, the same speedy response was given upon receiving your other messages, including dealing with your complaint/compensation out of hours on a Sunday evening.

You ordered a dried/real foliage product from us, our dried Japanese palms. As discussed in our correspondence, dried flowers and foliage are a very rustic product which is never ‘perfect’ like faux products are. This is due to the very nature of them being a natural product, no two natural products are the same as we detail on our website.

In our marketing photos, these palms did show the odd pine or two which is snapped or missing, this naturally occurs when natural foliage or flowers dry as they become more brittle. I also explained this in a friendly manner in our correspondence.

You explained to me that you were not happy with your order, so I offered you two solutions; to return your order, giving you a full refund, or for a refund on the one palm you were not happy with. I explained that, unfortunately, I was unable to send another palm at that time. Seeing as the palm is not unusable and is in its normal sellable state, we believe the two options given to you were satisfactory. We apologise that you do not feel the same way.

May I take this opportunity to assure you that during our correspondence I did not tell you to ‘just put them in a vase to hide the big gap’. After offering you to return the package for a full refund, but you not wanting to, I simply asked if you were going to display the palms in a vase. The two dropped pines were at the very base of the palm and as previously stated above, this is quite the norm and is not classed as a faulty product. However, as you were not happy, I was trying to understand your situation better to gauge what amount of compensation I would send you as a gesture of good will. You told me you were not going to display the palms in a vase, therefore, I decided to give you a full refund for the palm leaf in question.

We are pleased to say, we have never had any complaints regarding our Japanese palms before, so we are saddened that you feel you were dissatisfied with the product. After responding to your messages in a timely and friendly manner, giving you two compensational solutions, as well as processing your compensation very quickly too, we are saddened you feel our customer service was ‘absolutely terrible’ and ‘completely unprofessional’.

I’d like to thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and I do hope you enjoy the dried palms once you have them displayed.

Having looked into your order, I can see you ordered an Antique Vessel from our antique range. As advertised, these are vessels dating back up to 150 years old, therefore all have significant signs of ware, weathering and knocks/bumps/chips. Having looked back at photos of your vessel from our website listing, I can see it shows a chip in neck of the vessel.

If there were further chips that you feel were not photographed, please feel free to email photos of these to me and I can look into this for you.
