Great service by Andrews Removals! Took care of our belongings whilst packing and unpacking. Very professional

Andrews are a fantastic removal company. We only found out we were moving two days before so scrambled around trying to find removals. Luckily Andrews were recommended. They rearranged things to accommodate us as it was such late notice. Phil popped round the property to assess things and give us a very reasonable price which was cheaper than others. He was so nice and reassured us that we were in safe hands. Two removal men arrived on time and were really friendly and professional. They had everything loaded in a matter of hours and asked us to call them when we get the keys. A quick call and they were at the new house and unloaded in even less time. We honestly couldn’t be more pleased and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Andrews to friends and family. Thank you for being amazing.

My experience with Andrews of Ramsgate was totally satisfactory. Communications with the office were always good & responsive. I was happy with the quote which I thought was reasonable for the house move from Thanet to East Sussex.
This was manged with a team of 3 guys (I'm sorry I've forgotten your names) and 2 vehicles over 2 days. This ensured the work could be completed within a workable timeframe.
The team were professional, friendly, helpful, thoughtful & efficient. I would recommend Andrews as good people to work with.

Used this company for a shipment to Germany, was collected and delivered within the time frame and will be using them again. Never dealt with a company that was so efficient with custom procedures post Brexit.

My wife and I needed a courier to take a large package of groceries to a friend in France, which I could not risk being sent through a huge corporate organisation such as DHL or UPS. I needed careful handling and was therefore ready to pay appropriately.

Ever since accepting the quote, which required an initial £41 deposit, with the balance payable on completion, there has been a catalogue of lies and deception about the progress of the package, with false ETAs and untrue statements about the stages of the route.
I was led to believe I was getting what I had been quoted for: Andrews' own drivers taking my package under care to its destination. I kept in touch with my contact through the whole process, constantly being assured that it would arrive soon and that he was simply relaying back to me what his driver was telling him.

Sadly, the whole thing was just a charade, as the Company used UPS Saver to send my package and it arrived days later than promised, in a battered condition, with much of the contents damaged, with badly dented tins, burst packets and crushed biscuits. We had carefully packaged everything to allow for knocks, but certainly not for being thrown around the way UPS does, as we thought it was being personally delivered. I had repeatedly made it crystal clear, both with text messages and telephone calls, that this was an important food package for a very hungry friend waiting patiently in France.

I could have used UPS myself, at enormously reduced cost, where I would obviously have re-enforced and padded the package to cope with UPS handling. Instead, I was conned into accepting a premium quote for personal service that was simply handed over to be transported cheaply.

So, if you are thinking of giving your precious items for this Company to deliver, be aware that they may not be the ones who deliver it and could put your items at risk.

UPDATE - 05/06/2024: I should warn you further that if you dare to write a negative review of this Company, it seems you will get a response similar to the one below, consisting of a lame attempt at damage limitation in the form of false accusations and further lies defaming your character. Everything I have written in my review is completely true and can be fully substantiated. The name on my order was "Andrews Removals and Storage", so, any confusion has nothing to do with me.
I am appalled at the small-mindedness and cynicism shown by suggesting I knowingly handed my parcel over to DHL, when this is precisely what I set out to avoid and am complaining about!

This removal firm came to my rescue when I was dropped in it by another firm they are my knights in shining armor can't thank them enough and extremely hard working thank you again

We booked a survey of our home to get a removals quote. The appointment was booked for 2pm. At 1.30pm I received a call saying they were running late and would definitely be with us by 3pm, which was not a problem. No one had appeared by 4pm so I called the office and they were unable to get hold of the person due to attend my home so told me someone would call me back. At 4.30pm (2.5 hours after the appointment) I had not heard anything. I called the office to cancel. I chose this company for a quote due to the good reviews, however if they can’t be bothered to turn up or communicate when trying to gain our business, then I have little faith in them turning up and doing the job on moving day.

Would highly recommend Andrews - they stepped in at the last minute when we had lost out slot with another removals firm - they made it happen and came up with a solution. They were all lovely guys, worked efficiently and had real respect for our belongings. I would not hesitate to recommend them,

What a wonderful company. I made a booking with Perry of Andrews Removals at quite short notice and he was so helpful in arranging the correct size of lorry. I was moving from West London to Cheltenham so the 3 men doing the removal had to leave Cheltenham very early to get to me on quite a foggy, cold day. By the time we got to my new home it was just getting dark but they remained cheerful and extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and everything arrived undamaged and intact. I would definitely recommend this company

We had an excellent service from Andrews Removals every step of the way. Cara in the office was quick to respond to queries and Frank, Martyn and Elliott, our team on the day, were organised, friendly and fast!
They handled our goods with care and made moving day a breeze. Recommended.

The guys worked hard from start to finish on both days. On the second day they had to unload in the dark on a narrow country lane but they remained cheerful throughout and took a lot of the stress out of the move. No problem - and there were many - seemed to phase them, just got on with it with a smile and a laugh.

The removal team at Andrew's removals were absolutely amazing. As a single parent moving house with two small kids, I was quite stressed and hadn't managed to box everything up in time yet the guys were cheerful, helpful and worked around us with no pressure, offering advice and help. They waited for the keys patiently and worked until late into the evening thanks to a delay in getting the keys. Even with the unexpected hassle of the sofa not fitting up the stairs they cheerfully dismantled it and reassembled it and some extra men came to ensure they completed the job as fast as possible. They didn't damage anything and were totally honest and positive making the stress of moving so much more bearable, I'd definitely recommend them and use the if I'm ever mad enough to move again!!
