Review summary

Based on reviews, created with AI

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with the customer service, finding it unhelpful and difficult to reach a real person. They also encountered issues with their subscriptions, such as unexpected plan changes, inability to use paid services, and unclear billing. Customers frequently report problems with service limitations, including restrictive usage caps and interruptions that hinder productivity. Some people were dissatisfied with the artificial intelligence, noting that it often provides inaccurate information, requires constant corrections, and has become less creatively usable due to increased limitations. Conversely, a small portion of people felt that the AI was good for specific tasks like coding, legal drafting, and analysis, and found it to be consistent and reliable for their professional needs.

Very poor treatment of Max subscribers who pay hundreds/month. Heavily penalise users for working during EST working hours via 2-5X increased token burn during peak hours.

No access to Claude Code

I subscribed to the Team Plan specifically to use Claude Code.

Immediately after payment, the feature remained unavailable because of API restrictions outside my control.

Despite not receiving the service, I was recently prompted to pay an additional $90 to unlock the same functionality I already paid for.

Use Grok for free and get the same results

Paying for a Claude.ai subscription only gives you a few more hours of use before your time is suspended and /or you're blocked from logging into your account. This is the same behavior as a non-paying customer.

You're better off using Grok because it's free and it allows the same amount of time as the paid version of Claude.ai in using the app before it suspends your time. The info obtained for Grok is the same and at times, much better then Claude.ai as well.

DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY TO THESE PEOPLE! Terrible platform & scam company with no customer service.

Terrible platform - became full if you do subscribe they sneakily set it to yearly subscriptions and customer service does not exist when you want a refund. It's been over a week I've been ignored, there is not one human to handle any issues, they're live chat is a scam, it is not a live chat. Your told someone will email you but they don't.

Contact information for this company has been intentionally hidden to make it difficult for customers, im convinced it's a scam or a front these guys must be laudering money because they are not doing anything what so ever that their business objectives state.

Even once paid you don't get many requests on a yearly subscription it's a joke. I hope someone see's this from anthropic i want my refund of £180 and nothing to do with the platform or company it's disgusting customer service, terrible model, I'd rather stick to free chat gpt and recomend anyone else to do the same.

Genuinely use seen better customer service from Facebook and the local milk delivery company you would never thay this company has anything to do with technology, I feel like this is something that's been made by a secondary school student who has no organisation or awareness of professionalism.

Mystery purchase

Mystery usage limits. Team plan says more usage than pro. How much more usage? This is a surreal way to sell a product and seems very scammy. Hey if you pay $5 more you can get a bigger chocolate bar...erm how much bigger? How does a company stay in business like this?

Disappointing Customer Support and…

Disappointing Customer Support and Inflexible Terms — Losing around $400 in Credits

I recently had a disappointing experience with Anthropic’s customer support. As a self-employed AI engineer who regularly recommends Anthropic to clients, I requested an extension for approximately $400 of unused API credits set to expire shortly. Anthropic, however, showed no flexibility or willingness to accommodate this reasonable business request.

Due to their rigid credit expiration policy and lack of customer-centric solutions, I have decided to move all my existing clients away from Anthropic to alternative providers who prioritize long-term business relationships and flexibility.

I cannot recommend Anthropic for businesses that value supportive partnerships and customer-focused policies.

ZERO customer service

ZERO customer service. Been using Pro plan over a year now and can't get an answer to anything. Can't get receipts for payments, and now Claude 3.5 has gone off the rails and is absolutely stupid! it literally is about a 6th grade mentalitiy so don't know what happened but I can't delete account, can't get answers and had to report fraud to my bank just to stop auto payments cause there is literally NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! NOTHING! Nowhere to get a single question answered by a human all they have is a chat bot that's worthless. It's a scam at this point and need to be shut down by DOJ and Pam Bondi who we lodged a formal complaint with cause they are a straight up scam at this point!

Absolute shit service

Absolute shit service. You have to wait 5 hours to continue your convo with claude even though you're on a paid plan. It also gives wrong answers 80% of the time and hallucinates constantly.

Can't wait to see them fail

I loaded credits to use the app

I loaded credits to use the app, did many trials, but it never met my needs. It keeps giving me errors, deleting my work. I was using it integrated with Cursor, I had 130 dollars credit, and then I was not satisfied and wanted to withdraw my credit. I was told that I have 130 dollars that I don't want to use and I'm not satisfied and I can't get a refund. It's unbelievable, how can I not get my credit that I'm not satisfied with and I don't want to use anymore. And I don't want to get the credits I've used. I wanted to take the ones I was not going to use. Never get involved. You will regret it.

I used to love Claude

I used to love Claude; it was the best you could get. Now, all I want to do is pull the damn plug on it. How often do I have to say to continue before it should listen...? Once, that's how many. Yet when you tell it there are no other questions, proceed with my request, only for it to ask you a bunch of questions and then say once you answer those, I'll continue. All the while, the finite credits they give you on a PAID account are quickly vanishing, then, just when the AI is going to do what you ask, we're sorry, you've hit your limit... REALLY? Everyone else says the same, and I have to agree: they are forcing the AI to do this to increase how much inference people need, forcing you to pay more for the MOST EXPENSIVE model there is.

Claude=RIP OFF USAGE LIMITS

What the hell is this about! Hyped AI but try using it for more than a minute and you have over used this piece of garbage! Is it better than ChatGPT or Gemini, I don't know as I run out of usage before i can find our, WTF Anthropic you greedy so and so,s!
Obviously an incredibly greedy company that piuts profits over customers satisfaction, I've paid £18($25) for a couple of hours of use today, cheats or what?? How do they expect users to wait hours to use again!!??

I can’t believe I paid $20 for this…

I can’t believe I paid $20 for this garbage service. Claude.ai is an absolute scam! I was trying to get work done, but all I get is “Message limit reached for Claude 3.5 Haiku until 9 AM.” Excuse me?! What’s the point of paying if I’m just going to be blocked from using the tool when I actually need it? This is outrageous, unprofessional, and completely useless.

Avoid at all costs unless you enjoy wasting your money on a service that doesn’t deliver what it promises. Absolutely trash!

Horrible Expected A Lot More

It's horrible because I asked so many different times. It wouldn't and couldn't do a simple task like colouring a screen gold, and I don't have many questions to ask anyway, but still, the fact that It wouldn't just make a screen gold and me asking it at least 10 times is wild!
